[Resolved]  ABN AMRO Bank / Balance Transfer — Balance transfer DD cancelled with out intimation

Dear sir

I have opted for Balance transfer from ABN AMRO bank for the amount of Rs. 30000 and Rs. 20000 for ICICI cards . I have received the DDs atmy residence. I have deposited the same in the ICICI bank . Yesterday I have received a message from ICICI bank that DD has been returned. They have charged me Rs. 250 for the checque return and aservice tax applicable on the both the cards ie I i have lost Rs. 500 + service tax for no reasons . When I contacted ABN AMRO bank, I was told that DD has been cancelled. This was a shock and surprise to me. Their customer care executive has told me that my address is not verified. The reason is House is locked. For your kind information, I recently received a Ietter from ABM AMRO dt[protected] that the new address has been updated. I placed the BT request after that. Then how can they say that address is not verified. I would like to ask a few basic questions to them

1. How can they cancel the DD when all the credentials are in place.

2. If at all they want to verify the address they should have done before sending the DD

3. If they want cancel the DD, they should have sent me a message or called me . No one has told me that my address would be verified before clearing the DD. This is a great insult to me.

Then I got a call from Noida branch saying that my house was under renovation when the verifying team reached. I have told her that my house was never under renovation . This also contradicts with the c.care exe. statement .Infact my opposite flat is under renovation for quite a some time. I realised that your team has approached wrong address which is not a fault of mine

Becaue of ABNAMRO, I am in trouble . Now I have to arrange for money from other sources. The due date is already barred. This is how ABN AMRO behave with their customr . I have been holding this card for more than five years. They have treated me like this.

ABN AMRO Bank — Balance Transfer

Sir,
I have given a request of Balance tranfer of Rs.30000/- on 11.05.2009. Request no. provided by bank is [protected]. They assured me that I will get DD within seven days. In mean while I called to bank and they replied me that your request is in process. At the time of request they agreed that I am eligible for taking BT. .99% pm on reducing Balance interest will be charged upto 6 month.

On the expiry of time I called to bank and they refused to sent DD.I got not a single call from Bank that they are not sending DD.I have to pay my some outstanding to others and I was assued that I will get DD on time.Why the bank Cheating to their customer.

Kindly do the needfule & take necessary action .

I had 300 + rupees in my account before 3 days but when i check yesterday it shown me -44 balance. i don't know why ?
