Hi, This is to bring to your kind notice that my credit rating has not been updated or informed to CIBIL by ABN AMRO which is causing my loan getting denied from the Bank I am applying the loan from. I have made the settlement for my credit card dues in the month of September 2008 however they have not updated my record. (ABN AMRO Credit Card Number :- [protected].) The account is closed now. I am going through lot of problem because of the low rating in CIBIL my loans are getting rejected. This is a humble request to you to kindly help me to update the rating at CIBIL so that I can apply for Loan that i am in need of. Wating for you kind response. Nidhi Khanna. Dear Nidhi,

I would like to know how did you checked your CIBIL rating?

if you have closed your entire balance, then only your name will be removed, if you have gone for settlement, with waiving of your interest, your name will not be removed.

I am also facing the same problem with ABN Amro bank
Can any body suggest a way out of this.
It is a great injustice to people like us
Can the banking Ombudsman do somthing about this.
Please suggest if we can go the consumer forum.
