This is in regards to my Easy Cash Loan [protected]

I am totally frustrated with the kind o[censored]nprofessionalism displayed by the bank in this case.
Between 1- 4th june 2007 I get a call for a missed payment. I asked the customer care executive to provide me the total amount that is payble by me to close the loan and the process for the same I am informed the Total amount payable is 31505/= and I need to enclose a copy of the reciept along with a letter with the consent to close the same.

On 6/06/2007 I handover a cheque No 206299 amount 31505 hdfc bank. along with the copy of reciept and a covering letter to the bank executive.
Two months later I start getting calls for stating that my amount is outstanding and need to pay the same. I explain that I have already paid, call up the customer care and register a complaint the executive says that every thing is ok and he will forward the request and things will be settled.

The above cycle is repeated may a times.
On Dec[protected]PM I register another complaint ([protected]) for the above and then I am informed that the amount outstanding is the late fee and the reversal would be arranged for the same.

In Dec I again get a call from the collection agents.
On Jan 18 2007 1 I register a complaint ([protected]) requesting to check why this is not getting rectified even though I had registered a complaint earliar.

On May 30th I again get a call from one of the collection agents who is not even interested in listening to what I have to say and above all he says “Agar aap is sab ko khatam karma chatae hain to purae paise de dejiyae” . if you want to end this pay the balance amount which is some where more than Rs 5000/= .

I again called up the call center and the lady there now tells me that the amount that I paid earlier was not inclusive of the prepayment charges and late fees has been levied on that.


Some Important Points

1) The amount that I paid was calculated and told to me by one of ABN Amro Banks call center executives I checked the amount on two different days and then made the payment.
2) Throughout this year the Amro Banks call center executives kept registering the complaints and always mentioning that the outstanding is only late fee being charged. This was only on May 30th that the lady informed that there are some prepayment charges that are outstanding as well.


My concerns
1) The amount was not calculated correctly by ABN Amro Banks call center executives and I am being charged the late payment fees for his mistakes.
2) All throughout the year I have been registering the complaints but no one tells me about the prepayment charges being outstanding till 30th May 2008
3) Every month One or the other collection agent calls me up and I have to go through this harassment for no fault of mine. As they don’t even want or try to understand the situation.

From my side the maximum that I can do is to pay the prepayment charges that were originally outstanding.
However I would not pay the late fee component as this was not my fault that the ABN Amro Banks call center executive did not calculate the amount correctly.

I have asked ABN Amro Bank to arrange the reversal of the late fee and send me a document with the calculation of the outstanding amount at the earliest at my mailing address and email So that I can make the payment and close this.

ABN Amro-Credit Card & easy loan — Misuse of Credit Card Application

In 2006 I have applied for Credit card of ABN Amro Bank and later on I have requested to Bank Executive to cancell my card application and they have assured for the same on phone .

After a gap of one year I have received credit card statement asking for outstanding payment.I have called ABN phone banking and complained about misuse of my application .

After a gap of 2 months agian they informed me that they have alloted eazy loan of Rs-50,000/- on my account through DD .I have repeated the story of not holding any card nor received any DD from them.

Even now the matter is not cleared by them , with the intervel of 3/6 months ABN Amro people asking me to repay the loan O/s which was not applied or received by me .

Kindly Advice what is to be done to close this issue .
This is the revert that I have got from the bank

" We refer to your email dated May 31, 2008 and regret the inconvenience caused to you.

We would like to inform you that total outstanding on your loan account is Rs.5, 157.33 which is payable by you. The account is suspended due to non payment of the dues within the stipulated time.

Therefore, we would request you to clear your dues immediately to avoid any further charges and reinitiate your request for closure. "


I fail to understand why I have to pay this amount which is even more than the prepayment charges It was the banks fault, and now they are asking me to pay for it

my credit card number [protected] i am using last one year, last two month i m not receiving the statment, two days before i m spoke to custermer service they said with in half hour send the statment through email soft copy but still i m not receiving the statment i want immeditly two month statment copy via email address. suppose it is not possible here after i m not paid the amount

I am divyesh purani. I have neither any a/c nor any card from your bank. i am getting calls from your bank's consumer department. we are getting calls from yr officer hemant sharma in the afternoon since last 15 days and demanding to call someone living in our society. he uses abuse language and keep calling and calling again. we are not having any relation with the person who demands for . in our society there are 218 members if we have to do the same for then what. please do the needful. otherwise i have to take extreme steps against yr officer and your bank. please revert back as soon as possible

15 days back I got a call from ABN-AMRO Executive Ms. Anu.
She offered me Titanium card, but I asked for Platinum card(life time free). She told ok we will provide you life time free Platinum card with gift voucher of Rs. 5000.

But While received the card, it was a gold card.
Now while I put a request to cancel the card to customer card executives, they are denying to cancel it, and putting overload on me to do this and that.

I am not able to understand why should i take any hadeche while I've not filled the form? while ABN-AMRO itself is sending the pre approved card with activating options which i am not aware and the while I've not received the card what i asked?
While i clearly said if you are not sure to provide me platinum card then dont proceed?

Tell me why should i do anything else then a call to cancel the card?
Who told you to proceed for the gold card?
Did I came to your office for the card?

ABN AMBRO CREDIT & EASY CASH LOAN — Closure letter

I had called customer care month of November requesting for a closure letter with respect to credit card # [protected] and easy loan account # [protected] which was closed quite long back.

1) I spoke to customer care executive Roshan in the month of November who took the request promising a letter to be at my door step in 7 working days and the reference # he gave was [protected].

2) I again spoke to Amith in the month of December who stated that he will confirm the status and promised a closure letter at my door step in 7 working days giving me a reference # [protected].

3) I spoke to Roshan again on last week of December to know the status and he said that the systems were down and requested me to send a email to '[protected]@in.abnambro.com'. I sent requests twice and there hasn’t been any response till date.

4) Today I spoke to one of the agents, he said that the systems were down and asked me to send an email to '[protected]@abn.co.in'.

Till date I haven’t received any letter and I’m tired of contacting there customer executive service. When I have missed making payment, without any delay they ensure that I’m contacted on both my mobile as well as land line threatening me to pay the due and now I wonder why aren’t they able to deliver just two simple letter stating that my credit card and Easy loan has been closed?

I have a outstanding of 9025rs in my card which is inclusive of late payment $ interest $ service charges, i was in banglore from 2mths due to which i was not aware of the payments due to which i cdnt make payments, when i came back i got the statements in my hand.
As i always pay my dues on time, for confirmation u can check my payment details.I want 2 make cash payments .
I request you to pls wave off all the charges levied on me, as i want to make the payments i want to confirm the actual amt to be paid, its a humble request pls do the needful.

my complaint is more or less same with this. the bank has no friendly approach and as well a ROWDY APPROACH. the call centre phone is another big fraud.the number after dialling, one has to hang on the phone nearly morethan 1/2 hour to get the phone by bank executive to clarify our query. i have send Nnumber of mails to their vice president ms.renu joshi, also i spoke to her but the result is useless. more funnily the staff do not know who is their vice president!!! ha ha ha.
to quote a small example, i have sent one mail yesterday and the same is appended below for all the reference of my all the citizens of india. i earnestly request all our citizens not to approach this most idioitic ABN AMRO BANK for any needs:

apropos my telecon dated 09.09.09 @16:20 hrs, following is the list of calls received from your Madras Office i have been communicating you to delete my mobile no from your records [this was also advised by you on 09.09.09] but in vain.

it is noted that you have no control over your staff and this surely reflects your incapable or reckless attitude over your staff being in a senior position, you should be ashamed of this ruthless approach. i have explained you clearly that you cannot view every person with a same feelings.

i have earlier faxed you the list of calls but nothing happened. it is noted that apart from calling on my residential phone your collection agents have started to coming my home. this is another ruthless approach on your side. does it require? am i not remitting my monthly installment? why do not you follow the gentleman's rules? are you hiring any rowdies for collection purpose?

the most pathetic issue is that the call centre staff do not know which installment is due!!! also they do not know your status or your name. what a shame on your bank's reputation especially on your position?? i certainly feel bad on your situation. none of the staff have regards on you and on the Judicial system.

as i have been telling you, i am compelled to file a case in the HYDERABAD DISTRICT CONSUMER FORUM for the harassment and i shall make you a party on this dispute as you are not understanding the problem with a clear idea.please note that the Judicial system shall view in a serious manner taking this cognizance.

this bank feels that the customers are beggers for alms, in fact it is they who approach us with a luring voice & trap us for their business. pl stay away from this bank.in fact, i am going to complain about their misdeeds to RBI as well want to challenge in the consumer forum for justice as was done in the case of ICCI bank. the call centre people does not have any job except disturbing the private time of the customers.
