ABN AMRO One Titanium Card — CHARGED THE CARD WITHOUT CONSENT
Dear Sir, I received a promotion call from ABN AMRO marketing executive that they are giving a gift voucher or coupons for 30% discount on makemytrip tours, and they said that this will be charged as and when we use. But they have debited an amount of Rs.5000.00 in my card which was not intimated to me on 29.03.2009. When I knew this I immediately called the customer service and checked and I told them the fact, now this is arguing with me that i have given the confirmation to debit, but I am very sure that I did not. He offered me a discount of Rs. 1250 on that amount and said it will be reversed. Which I dont want to accept. Apart from this they have also put a overlimt charge for the amount 600.00. This is absolutely a fradulent practice and I never expected this kind of double standard. Now i need to file an official complaint on ABN AMRO where they claim that they have my voice recorded, which is not true. How do I proceed, Please help. Was this information helpful?

All promotional sales calls should be banned or compulsion should be made for confirmation in writing for commitments made while selling the products. All banks and Insurance Company's are taking undue advance of the lapses in the system.
