[Resolved]  Abn Amro — credit card charges

I had credit card of abn amro bank. they send me some air tickets & charged 2500 rs. which i refused to pay. i didnt use the tickets & told them clearly that i dont want to use them. I got a reply that i can tear them of & charges will be reversed.

Till today i receive fallow up calls from the bank for recovery .

DEAR MANAGER,

I HEMAL L CHITALIA HAVE A BIG ISSUE TO BE CLEARED AT UTMOST IMPORTANCE .I AM SENDING YOU THE ZEROX COIPES OF MY STATEMENT EXPLAINING THE PROBLEM DATE WISE AS WELL AS NUMBER WISE .STARTING WITH THE NO 1 DATED STATEMENT DATE 15/06/2007 YOU CAN GO THROUGHT THE STATEMENT WHERE IS CLEARLY MENTIONING OPENING BALANCE 47, 174/- INR AND EMI 2497/- WHICH I HAD MADE WITH ALL DETAILS ON THE STATEMENT .NEXT STATEMENT I RECIVED DIRECTLY ON 15/08/2007 AND DID NOT RECIVED THE STATEMENT FOR 15/07/2007 TILL DATE .IN 15/08/2007 YOU CAN SEE THE OPENING BALANCE AS 43603/- INR AND U CAN SEE SOME MORE THING WRITTEN ON THE STATEMENT ZEROX NOW IS THE MAIN ISSUE COMING I CALLED THE CALL CENTRE MENTIONED ON THE STATEMENT AND TALKED TO SURYA AT 24/08/2007 AT 4.00 PM AND TOLD HIM FOR THE CLOSURE OF THE ACCOUNT HE TOLD ME YES YOU CAN CLOSE THE ACCOUNT BY PAYING 43603/ INR ALONG WITH 3% CLOSURE CHARGES TOTALLING TO 45, 817/- INR WHICH I PAID ACCORDING MENTIONED ON THE STATEMENT CHEQUE NO 000085 ISSUER BANK BANK OF INDIA KALBADEVI BRANCH WHICH IS ALREADY CREDITED IN MY BANK ACCOUNT HE TOLD ME THAT PLEASE MAKE THE PAYMENT AND YOUR ACCOUNT WILL GET CLOSED .

THEN AFTER TWO MONTHS I RECEIVED THE STATEMENT SHOWING THE CREDIT BALANCE OF 806/INR I TALKED TO THE CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY TOLD ME TO AVOID IT AS IT IS PAID .

IN 15/12/2007 I GOT A NEW LOAN OF 26000/- WHERE HE TOLD ME TO PAY EVERY MONTH INSTALLMENT OF 1390/- INR I TOLD THEM OK AND ON 15/12/2007 I RECIVED THE STATEMENT WHERE IT SHOWED ME EARLIER EMI OF 2497/- INR I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE IT AND THEN I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT ON 1/1/2008 AND TALKED TO RIA AT 5.45 PM AND SHE TOLD ME SORRY SIR BUT YOUR ACCOUNT WAS NOT CLOSED EARLEIR AS U HAVE TO SEND THE WRITTEN LETTER TO CLOSE IT .I TOLD HER THAT WHEN I TALKED TO SURYA REGARDING IT HE TOLD ME NOTHING LIKE THIS AND TOLD THAT YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE CLOSED DO NOT NEED TO WORRY, BUT RIA TOLD ME IT IS NOT CLOSED SO I ASKED HER TO CLOSE IT AND SHE DID IT ONLINE THAT TIME ALSO I DID NOT GAVE ANY LETTER TO CLOSE IT AND THEY CLOSED MY ACCOUNT AS SOON AS RIA CLOSED MY ACCOUNT THE NEW LOAN ACCOUNT ON 15/01/2008 ALSO GOT CLOSED AND I CALLED AGAIN TO CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT ON 19/01/2008 AND TALKED TO ROHIT AT 3.10 PM AND TOLD HIM THE DIFFICULTY HE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS STILL RUNNING AND U HAVE TO PAY EMI 1390/ INR FOR 24 MONTHS .

AFTER ALL THIS I SENT MANY EMAIL THAT PLEASE U CLOSE MY OLD ACCOUNT AND WHY MY THIS ACCOUNT GOT CLOSED I NEVER CAME FOR THE LOAN AND ALL THAT .NOW SINCE LAST 01/2008 I AM PAYING EMI 1390/- TILL DATE OF TODAY AND THE SINCE LAST MANY DAYS I AM RECEIVING CALL FROM UR COMPANY REGARDING PAYMENTS AND THEY TALK VERY RUDELY AND SAY THAT WE WILL JAPP YOU I[censored] DO NOT PAY I HAVE ALREADY SENT THE EMAIL OF THE SAME WITH THE RECORDING WITH THE PERSON .

I HAVE ALREADY PAID 1390/- INR X 9 TOTAL 12510/- INR TILL MONTH SEPTEMBER THEN ALSO THE BALANCE SAYS 26, 227/ INR I CALLED AGAIN CUSTOMER CARE AND TALKED TO JYOTSNA AND TOLD HER MY DIFFICULTY SHE HAS FORWARDED THE COMPLAIN AND TOLD ME TO SEND IT TO YOU ALSO ALONG WITH THE STATEMENTS.

PLEASE LOOK IN TO THIS MATTER AS THEY HAVE BEEN CHARGING LATE PAYMENT WHICH ACCORDING TO ME IF BECAUSE OF YOUR MISTAKE .PLEASE LOOK URGENTLY AND RECTIFY THE PROBLEM SOON AND SEND ME THE FRESH STATEMENT CLEARING ALL THE ABOVE PROBLEMS.PLEASE LET ME KNOW SOON AS POSSIBLE TILL THEN I AM BLIND .

ENCLOSING THE COPY OF STATEMENT FROM 15/08/2007, 15/11/2007 - 15/01/2008 NOT YET RECIVED 15/09/2007 AND 15/10/2007 THAT U CAN SEE FROM THE SATEMENT AS THEY HAVE CHARGED TWO MONTHS TOGETHER .
Guess you booked tickets online using your credit card.
Now you dont want the tickets?

If you want cancellation then contact the travel agency co not your bank.

Since tickets are delivered and guess they are expired you cant claim for refund of cancellation.

Kindly pay your credit card dues.
