[Resolved] Accenture Technologies — Recruitment Malpractice

Hi,

I had cleared both the rounds of interview with Accenture Technologies, at Pune (Magarpatta office) on 27th March 2010.

The HR representative told me that congratulations, you are seleceted and our team will get in touch with you to collect your documents and we shall discuss the offer on the phone, since its already 6:30 PM and a lot of people are yet to go through their HR round.

I was really happy to be selected for Accenture.

Later, about a week commenced, and no one contacted me for the documents.

about 2 and half weeks later I got a system generated SMS from TA-ACCENTURE, stating they are trying to get in touch with me for document collection and are requesting me to contact them at the earliest.

I some how managed to find out the person who is responsible to collect documents - Geetha.hn

I contacted her stating the issue, it was then that she asked for documents and I gave all the documents.

A week after that, nothing happened so I sent her a mail stating everything.

I did not get any response. A week later I dropped in a 'Gentle Reminder' mail - but still did not get any response.

I sent the documents again - still no response.

I must have shot her about 5-6 weekly reminder mails, but she did not respond to any of them.

All of a sudden on 19th May 2010, she called and said she needed my documents urgently, I supplied her the documents 4 times in the same day.

She called and evening and asked for my documents again. I was shocked!!!!...

I told her I have sent the documents 4 times today, she asked what time, I told her around 1:30 pm, then she said - Oh!!!.yeah...right right right.....fine I have received them.

All this while between 27th March(Date of selection) and 19th May(Date that she finally acknowledged the receipt of my documents, I kept getting SMSs from TA-Accenture that they don't have my documents.

What is shocking is that, till today, 18th June (Almost a month after their employee confirmed she had my documents), nothing has been done.

And the most irritating part is that I still get those SMSs.

Because of some lazy, negligent, incompetent and stupid lady, my whole candidature is jeoperdized.

I don't know whose malpractice is this, the HR's (If they feel the requirements are saturated, then they would put up with this "missing documents" non-sense), the document collection team or any other party.

But one thing is for sure, the resourse suffers because of this non-sense.

He/she is being assured of selection and then later on due to some sh#t, the whole thing crumbles down.

This is serious malpractice on behalf of the Indian HR guys, this does not happen overseas. We are extremely unprofessional and stupid. This is a black spot on the whole Indian HR community.

There are many such examples like this - Legal action should be taken against these , may then they will understand that we're not toys.

Its sad!!.......Its just so damn sad!!!........

The same thing happens to me. I m still waiting from 60 days, I didn't get any response from accenture team. really it's so sad. who will take care action on this.

same here, 6 month back, after clearing 3 round and submitting all the documents i have not heard anything from their side after repeated attempt. also in whenever i got mail from Accenture HR for other opening, i described them current status and asked for my candidature validity. no one, ever reply after that..till date i am getting mail from accenture for opening, but now i am not giving any importance to them. i had only one expectation that if i am not selected then say it clearly. why not replyting to mail when i have clear all 3 round ?

Same for me but I did a good thing is that I replied to the HR guy on the same mail with lot of bad language...at least they will understand our feeling.

Hi Guys,

The same thing happened with me I cleared both skills and HR round and after 1-2 weeks they called me that there is still one round pending which is managerial round but now they send me another mail by scheduling technical round plus my status is now showing "Status not available" . I don't know what this mean if you have any idea or have gone with the same stupid procedure plz reply me

Hi,
This is to let you know that I attended the recruitment process of accenture. My status on the portal is offer pending since 28th august 2014. I have not heard back from accenture since then. It is very unfortunate that even after clearing all the rounds and all the document formalities, candidates are still not being offered with the offer letter. I am not sure where the gap is but certainly there is something need to be checked/investigated upon and the candidate should get updates on his recruitment status. My candidate id is C4357147.

I too am facing the same issue. Completed 3 rounds of interview. Later they sent a email saying that the candidature is on hold due to no demand and would get back when the position is a viable. I have earlier sent the document 4 times. Now again got a email saying to forward the documents Asap.

I was interviewed telephonically by Accenture around 15 days back. The interview went well and the interviewer asked me about my preferred location and expected CTC. Later for around one week, I didn't get any response on my Candidature despite my mailing the HR . After another week, I got a mail to fill in my EAF form to progress the candidature.

After submitting the EAF on their portal, for another week I didn't get any calls or feedback.

I later mailed them, seeking update in this context if any to which I got a reply stating that I cleared the round but since the position is closed, the team will get in touch for another round when they have any similar requirements.

Highly disappointed at the entire process Accenture is using to hire professionals.

Not sure if will get a follow-up on this and will continue my search for a better organisation.

I also had gone for interview at accenture i cleared the first round i got a excellent feedback from both the interviewers i was told to wait in the lobby as i was shortlisted for the next round and they were keen to hire me.after waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes i was told that there was no slot available of the manager for the next round and they will call me again the next day i was still happy with the kind of feedback i got.i was waiting for their mail for the next round finally i called the hr to ask that time she first told me that slot is still not available and later she said that they already have some candidate and that is why she is waiting for a confirmation and if any issue happens with that candidate she will call me for the next round.this is so unprofessional i couldnt believe that companies like accenture do all this just to fill their own candidate database.waste of time is this company and its working culture.
