Product support stopped with 12 months of purchase & no response from company Since last three months I had purchased Acer X960 smart mobile phone in Sep’2010 for Rs. 13000/-. it started giving problem after 8 months o[censored]se & the company provided the warranty support to my satisfaction. within 10 days of warranty period which expired on 17th Sep’2011, in first week of Oct’2011, the handset fell from the bed & started giving problem in display. On visiting to service center on 11th Oct’2011(Quest Infotech, Roots Tower, New Delhi), they confirmed that the display has gone faulty & needs to be replaced after some time as the spare display is not available in stock. I had waited for more than a month & on 12th Nov’2011, I got my phone back with intimation that whenever the spare display will come from Acer India Ltd, the same will be replaced. They did not have any idea of time even after lapse of 10 week. On contacting Acer custmer care, the company has informed me that the screen for the phone is not available. I have asked the company if there any scope of getting the screen or repairing of the faulty one? Or I need to throw away the smart phone worth 13000/- with in just 12 months of its purchase. The company is silent & not responding. Even after 12 weeks no response from company. Pls help me. Was this information helpful? | |||
