My ACER LCD Monitor has developed a thin red vertical line on the RHS of the monitor screen. I complained. Details are given above. No action has been taken so far. Toll free phone line is getting disconnected the moment I am saying to the customer care exec. that I'm following up on a complain. I accessed the ACER official site which shows that MY MONITOR HAS ALREADY BEEN REPAIRED, whereas, actually, nobody has communicated to me till date.
Did a ghost come to my house and serviced the monitor (but failed to repair)?
Is this the way ACER cheats? Are they cheats in the guise of a corporate entity?
Do they think that customers are so gullible that they won't take any action against them?

i had a same problem with my acer monitor.
i had 19'acer monitor which is still under warranty.on the monitor many black spots & some sharp vertical red lines has appeared.on complain whn acer engineer visit at my place, he told me this is a physical damage.engineer told me that black spot are the dust particle that stick onthe screen from inner side & the red line are due this dust particles. he say reparing charge will 2500/- . Its better to buy new monitor of some other brand rather than reparing this old acer one. plz dont buy acer monitors they are cheap incase price as well as QUALITY
