[Resolved] Agarwal Professional Packers & Movers — TOO MUCH DELAY in delivery of the consignment and EXTRA CHARGE | |||
Hi There, I am a working women and have two small kids of age 2.5 and 7 months respectively. I like to share the experience with you, so that you can keep a note on the service i got from AGARWAL PROFESSIONAL PACKERS AND MOVERS and always remember to take a written note for promise of these packers whenever you have such neccessity of relocation or transfer. I have chosen AGARWAL PROFESSIONAL PACKERS AND MOVERS for the relocation of my household items, as per their promise to deliver the things within Nine days. They actually said that they will deliver it before the 8th day but the maximum can be 9th day. I have again reconfirmed that the 8th day calculation of consignment delivery is based on the starting from my home. They have taken the things from my home on 31st March 2012. Based on their promise, the consignment should reach at my home (Bangalore) by 8th of April. We started following up and waited till 13th April. From 14th AGARWAL PROFESSIONAL PACKERS AND MOVERS started saying that they will deliver at 9 am next day, then we call at 9am on next they say we deliver at 12pm, we again call at 12pm and they said by 6pm, then 9pm and it goes on like that on every day. Finally they came on 16th midnight even after informing that the society association rule will not allow to enter inside after 10pm. We don't wish to break the rule and disturb the society so we could not accept the consignment at 12.30am. The truck went back with the consignment and next day 17th April they started asking extra money of Rs.4500/- to deliver the consignment. At the end we don't have any option other than paying it because we don't have any written proof of the promise to complaint about the delay and this harassment, we paid the extra money and that too was without any bill. I also have a complaint against AGARWAL PROFESSIONAL PACKERS & MOVERS, I moved my stuff and car from Gurgaon to Bangalore in March, they kept saying that your stuff has arrived. When I took the delivery of my car they asked me to pay the balance and promised that household stuff will be delivered next day. When the household stuff was delivered there was one item missing and I was told that they will get it tmrw they know where it is.
We kept following with them for 15 days and they said we are searching for your item. Then after that they even stopped taking our calls and when we sent them letters to their office it was returned saying address is wrong.
They are not even willing to give compensation inspite of doing insurance of our stuff. They charged us the premium for insurance but it seems they never buy insurance, it's just simply FRAUD with people.
I would suggest people never to go for AGARWAL PROFESSIONAL PACKERS & MOVERS

I moved my house holds from Delhi to Bangalore. I took 1 lac rupees of insurance for my house holds. When I received my goods in Bangalore, my new Sofa set was damaged badly.
After several time of calling them and sending them mail, result is null.
Now they are not ready to pay the claim against my sofa damaged. Even though they charged 3% of amount as insurance premium, but they never buy any insurance.
Please beware of reaching those FRAUD CHEATER people. They give quotation very less so people get into there trap easily.

Please differentiate between "Agarwal Packers and Movers" and ""Agarwal Professional Packers and Movers" ..
The ""Agarwal Professional Packers and Movers" is a Fraud with name called Narendra.
Please ensure that you do not get confused like rest of others on above thread.
They damage goods and will not give any insurance. They will no deliver and will ask for more money to deliver. This is a FRAUD so be aware.

Movers and packers — delay in delivery of our things
we hired Pragati moovers and packers on 7th of April 2010. Their workers came to pick our goods from our house in delhi to bangalore. They started packing some were packed & few unpacked (including one byke that they drove from our house and took the keys along with them).And yes they broken our study table (costs Rs. 8000) while doing the packing.
Although they ensured us to send our consignment till 14th of April 2010. Next day (8th of April) i received a call stating that the goods sent by me are more than they thought. How much justified is this? His guy had given us they voucher showing all the items and i gave them some advance also (Rs 4500) and shown rest amount Rs 5500.
I m having all the vouchers and the quotation he gave to me. Now till 21st of April we have not received our goods, he has also sent us revised quotation. Please look into the matter as soon as possible.
