[Resolved] AICTE — GATE stipend delay | |||
About GATE stipend delay Respected sir, I am doing M.E in applied electronics[protected] batch) in Coimbatore institute of technology,Coimbatore. I got admission via GATE exam and through my college me and my friends have applied for GATE stipend; I am a eligible candidate for GATE stipend. My first semester is over. Till today i didn't get even a single rupee from AICTE as GATE stipend. What they are saying is it will take some more time to provide that stipend?.. For me it seems like a cheating. We are the students and we have lot of expenses for our studies, for our project etc. I have planned to do M.E with the hope that GATE stipend will help me to do some technical courses, can manage project expenditures etc. When will they give stipend?... If they are not giving that stipend for our needs and if they give it after i complete my studies, in what way that stipend will help my studies????... I dont know really why this delay.. I AM GATE 2012 SCORER. I WANT STUDY ME COURSE IN ANNA UNIVERSITY OR GOVT/AIDED COLLEGE. SO HOW MANY AMOUNT STIPEND SANCTIONED.

I am a GATE 2010 holder, i got admission in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for M Tech Computer Science.Before getting admission the college management inform that we will get the scholarship. After Ist Semester they inform that as the college is not AICTE approved we won't get scholarship for GATE.But in the second semester the informed as they got AICTE approval and we will get scholarship. Now the college is AICTE approved. Our course is over now. Are we eligible for the AICTE gate scholarship. Will AICTE provide scholarship for previous branches also?

We completed M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering[protected] &[protected] batch) in Narasaraopeta Engineering College, Narasaraopet, Guntur, Andharapradesh. We got admission through GATE -2008 & 2009 exam, in college myself and my friends have applied for GATE stipend; We are eligible candidates for GATE stipend.Our course is over. Till today we didn't get 1st year Stepind, my senoirs did not get 2nd year.But we got 2nd year only from AICTE as GATE stipend.We can't understood about it, they are saying it will not come.. For us it seems like a cheating. We are the students and we have lot of expenses for our studies, for our project etc. We have planned to do M.Tech with the hope that GATE stipend will help me to do some technical courses. When will they give stipend? We don't know really why this delay?. We request you to take action for this issue and please grant our's 1st year Stepind.
