[Resolved]  Air State Courier — Courier stuff delayed

I had stuff to be delivered to Indore from Hyderabad - chose Air State Courier, Begumpet, Hyderabad to do this job. I was promised the stuff will be delivered within 3 days (while I was quoted 2 days when enquired over phone for the same job). The parcel was done on 10/June/2009 morning 11 am - should have reached Indore by maximum 13th evening which did not happen. We had to incur STD charges in finding out and following up about the delivery at the destination and also the Air State Courier office at Indore. Upon enquiring the Begumpet office on 13th June we were told that they had promised that the stuff would get delivered only by 13th June evening 5.30 pm - which too did not happen. We hoped the stuff would get delivered at least by 13th june night - which did not happen. Upon enquiring again at Begumpet office on 15th June morning, we only got responses like - will let you know in half an hour - the half an hour never came in till 2 pm that day. Apart from this, the office people kept us on waiting for about 10 minutes to hand over the call to relevant person - we had to repeat the courier details to about 3 people in there.
Finally upon enquiring at 2pm, we get to hear from the lady that they have not received any such complaint, and was again asking for half an hour. She said that she is the only one who can handle and follow up such requests and no body let her know of the complaint.

And the charges i had to incur for courier = Rs. 550 / - + STD calls to Indore (5 times) + local calls about 3 times
