[Resolved]  Aircel — GPRS SERVICE

AIRCEL Customer care said that AIRCEL are providing pocket internet if you get E-RECHARGE of 98 in your mobile then you can access internet in your mobile and PC.But I am not able to use this service in my PC.I asked customer care then he told me, sorry sir you cannot use this service in your PC so sorry for providing wrong information and Customer care are not taking my complane for this and my mobile no is [protected]

my Aircel no. is [protected], i took it just for the pocket internet. my handset is Pocket PC. where else since i have taken this no. i had done all possible way to get the settings for my pocket pc but all in vein, as i had spoken to 4 to 5 of your CSR and all of them had given me the same comments that the person from the gprs dept. will call back on my alternate no. given [protected]. but till now all have given me the wrong information. so i request your kind office to do the needfull at the earlest and help me get the setting on my pocket pc.

I purchased the Aircel Connection for similar purpose to use Internet. I first bought the connection in Jammu and paid all the charges for Pocket Internet. The Jammu Number was [protected]. I called customer service for 5 days to activate the GPRS/WAP service but everytime I called them they repeated the same routine and assurances.

Later I escalated the call to their Senior named "Mr. Rehan" and he also assured me that some1 from GPRS deptt will call me back and help me out but nothing happened... Eventually I Threw the SIM in the Hole where it deserves to be.

Later I came back to Delhi and I repeated the same mistake again... LOL.. I know I am foolish but I just thought that in a Metro City like Delhi, things would probably be better.. but again.. it came out to be lousier than Jammu. My Delhi number is [protected].

After 12 hours, I am still not able to use the connection. When I try to call the customer service from Aircel number it continously says "NETWORK BUSY" but when I call from MTNL number the call is through but the voice cracks from their side.

I spoke to the customer executive in Delhi she again assured me all the help but still nothing happened. I am just waiting untill the end of day today to get everything working or I will dump it again in another HOLE where it actually deserves to be.

But again.. I will not sit quietly... I am going to make enough noise to make sure that their bags are packed before they can fool more people and steal their money... Just wondering if Consumer Forum can help us anyway in these situations.

Never buy an Aircel connection... Dhoni has failed twice.. in T20 World cup as well as Aircel Pocket Internet marketing.

Take care.. be careful.. play safe... I suggest MTNL is a much better option which I am currently using.

Ideally, it should be connected to your PC, you are talking about the Pocket Internet scheme by Aircel right? Works just fine for me on my PC, are you sure your handset is compatible with the settings, if not, you should simply visit an Aircel store and get the details related to your handset.

Why am I given daily 24 hour callback assurances and why today it was extended by three days?

My money grew on trees or what? Why do you people not hire staff before putting out ads and opening companies. As long as companies like you exist, India will continue to be in the third world.

The service is too bab to say.The connection fractuates & almost every time in a day i can not get the service.Only 1/2 hour in a day i can get the service(GPRS NET IN COMPUTER)
Though i connecte it to computer...but it is too troublesome to connect.Everytime it says "REMOTE COMPUTER DID NOT RESPOND IN A TIMELY MANNER"


What is the problem?
----Network problem?
----GPRS service problem?

Anything may it be... But i only get spoiling of 98/- buying pocket internet card...
i need solution... nothing more...

i have install gprs setting but it doesn't work... my no. is [protected]
this is vijay singh and am the aircel customer from last 5 month and i regularly using internet on my phone. but some time i did not get net service. i chek the all setting but everything is fine but mobile show that could not activate cellular data network: you are not subscribed to a cellular data service.and when i tried talk to customer care center the phone disconnecting. looking forward spiddy responce.
Well in my opinion these are temporary technical issues, you can try to call the Customer care once more, it must be by a matter of chance that your call was disconnected.
Dear Aircel Gprs Service Provider,
As I was talk to your customer excutive for my laptop setting with my mobile.The way she treat me its totally misguided the people and try to avoid to talk to customer(me).Always trying to blame that your handset had issue, because of handset only it was not connected your internet with your laptop.I was using your internet services since last 3 to 4 months and if any one say that your handset is the issue. How any one can believe.It was my fault also that I was talk rude also.Actually any one can rude i[censored] say that your handset is the issue and if he was using since last 3 to 4 months.
Even I was asking him also that can u sms about your advance setting. So that I can connect my laptop with your aircel.She is saying me that, no sir we cant sms to any one. So, i have one question that u r operatting this much of big services and aircel cant sms also? I know you have...
So, I request you pls do some corrective action against these people or trained to them how to talk with customer and how to trace out the problem without ignore to customer and try to convince them.
