I'm a student & purchased aircel sim with lifetime validity. when I wanted to use it which was in the validity period. I was surprised to find that the incoming & the outgoing call's have been barred. So I called the customer care executive(cce) he replied that due to the non submission of the document's it is barred (but i have submitted voter identity card & photo). He said to submit the same at mehdipatnam. So I went there on 24 september & told the same as said by the cce.
He cross checked it(Mr.Vishnu Sai) & replied that the sim is damaged. Again I was suprised as I have not used it,never wet it nor the circuit was damaged.He was kind enough to accept that there have been complaint's about it & it was from the company itself. The cost of the sim replacement is Rs 25.00. I gave him the sim & he told me to collect it the next day i.e 25 september.When I went there to collect it he informed me that the work had been not done do collect it the next day. So I called him Mr.vishnu Sai on [protected] he informed me that he was on leave & gave me the contact no:[protected] to call & inquiry about the work. So I called & Mr.Ali answered the call & informed that this is his first day in office he does not known anything about it wait till vaishnu returned to work. So on 30 september I called Mr.Vaishnu he told me to collect it so at the halfway, at 7.30 pm the tyre got puncture & I have to replace the tube with a new one. As whole process finished it was about 9 p.m the closing time of the outlet was 8 p.m so I cursed myself & returned home empty handed.
The next day i.e 1 october I collected the same. So again when I inserted the sim a beautiful greeting wished me as "Emergency only" so again I went to the Aircel Outlet after checking he informed me that the sim is damaged again I have to go for sim replacement & free of cost I replied him "Are joking or what? I'm suffering a lot as I have given this no as alternate to my friend's & Family and also suffering financially, Physically, emotionally & psychological as myself been a student I cannot afford to pay the travelling expenditure from my pocket money that to in the 1 week of the month. He asked me to come after 1 hour as someone from his staff have changed the setting's of my sim, the problem will be rectified. Then at home I received a call from Mr.Vaishnu informing me that my aircel contact no
i.e: [protected] is allocated to some other person. I asked him back how can it be when my sim was still in the validity period. He was answerless.
So on 7 october I Mailed aircel at care.[protected]@aircel.co.in informing them about my pain & suffering's.
I got replied as, when there is no usage for more than 90 days,system will automatically assign it to other user. I replied them back as sim is still in the validity period whch is 180 day's clearlly mentioned on their website http://www.aircel.com/Circles/Andhra-Pradesh/prepaid-starter-kit.asp
1). Why MY No is given to another person.
2). The six month's validity period is still valid.
3). Why I was made to go for the sim replacement when it was already given to another person .
4). Myself been a student, financially, Physically, emotionally & psychological
5). The travelling cost.
6). The compensation.
