[Resolved] Aircel Cellular — MNP Cheating | |||
Hi I have a Aircel number and wanted to port it out of Aircel as the service is very poor. I gave a request to the new vendor on Wed (27 Apr 2011) but on Friday (29th Apr 2011) I get a response from the new provider that Aircel has rejected my MNP request stating that "Your Port in request for Mobile number 98414xxxxx has been rejected by your service provider due to outstanding payments". When I contacted the Aircel customer service I was able to talk to them they say my outstanding is "zero" but status is "Payment due", not sure what type of system they have. In this process I lost the amount I paid for the new operator. Another discovery that may be o[censored]se to others, Aircel will not connect to customer service if you call them from an Aircel mobile either 121 or [protected]. It just gets disconnected when it says"... connecting you to our customer service" - this was an accidental discovery after 2 hrours of experiment calling the customer service. I have to now try after few days - one more opportunity for Aircel to reject my MNP request Regards Amudhan Was this information helpful? | |||

I think I mentioned that I was able to talk to your customer service to rectify the issue of your database correction, but the issue still remains - my port out request was rejected by your "system", if at all you have one.
Just for your info I did call [protected] but that is for prepaid and they asked me to call [protected] which I had already called on Friday and an SR has been raised to correct your system - not the error that you had informed the new service provider an wrong piece of information.

I am trying to port from aircel to another network. I am sending SMS PORT PhoneNumber at 1900 but it showing pending. I tried several times. It looks like aircel forcefully not letting me change my service provider.
