I have been using airtel 3G dongle with 6GB plan since November. Through the airtel desktop app I used to check the daily usage.
Ever since I increased the plan to 8 GB which I did in feb or so, I am unable to get daily usage details. The request can be seen in outbox(apparently outbox is the sent items here), but I never get response.
I have been dealing with their customer care/technical support for the last two months no avail.
For the last month, though I have not used much(was on vacation for a week), for the last 4-5 days I got only 80 Kbps speed, because their records show I have exhausted my 8 GB limit.
Problems:
1) I get sub standard speed for no fault of mine. Despite several requests they are not providing a solution to let customer know the usage.
2) in fact they provide useless solution to drive traffic to their site by asking me to upgrade their app. This would have probably cost my 200-300 MB of my data. But end result same. I am not receiving the Response when I send the request through app.
3) because of their insensitive, sub standard service when my kid was unwell I was unable to work from home and have to take a couple of days off. ( or pay them RS. 300 for 100 MB which I could have g obbled in 2 hours)
4) even cheap android phones show the usage on a everyday basis. Why can't airtel app show the usage details on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Just that they want to cheat people by not letting them know about their usage.
I want the rental waived for last 2 months and until I have this resolved.
If they can't resolve it any soon, I want them to call everyday and tell me the usage.

siras per your sms as dated :04 nov 08 amount of bill is 766.12 Rs and i give you a check of Rs767.0/- amount but your officer understand the check amount is Rs:7670.00/- and send me SMS on dated 08 Nov 08
after this i comunicate this worng posting of SMS to your customur care center.
and he told me dont worry about this matter if check amount is wrongly posted by officer then No any due is shown in your account.
and check bounced will be deducted from my acount about : 500.0 RS
further this i also comunicated to custumor care he told me the check will be sent to your home address but till date on any letter and check are recived
but your SMS on dated shown
1) due amount : Rs 270.0/- on dated 22 Nov 08
2) due Amount RS: 2488.4 on dated 25 Nov 08
pl. clare all this thing and sent me corrected statement other wise i am not resposible for any due
Due amount and i also stop using your cerdit card also
Note : no any single statement will be recive when i joined to your bank cerdit card
