My Name is Aamir Shaikh R/o 87 Begum Peth Solapur My Airtel Mobile No. is [protected]. My complaint is on Dated 31.7.2012 a GPRS service is automatically activated on my no at 9:00pm.And i have been charged for Rs 125 and in that regards i mailed a complaint to Appellate officer dept and i got refund of the debit Rs 100 and again the same case going on no any deactivation again i am getting charged for what i am not accessing the internet. And if i am complaining to the customer care at 198 no response from it and they misbehave with us. so please necessary action in this regards and Help me out

    I am using a MTNL no with 0007. From last almost a month i have been receiving SMS's from airtel number [protected] and the contact person is SUMIT [protected].I have called him and told him not 2 send me these types of SMS and i told him 2 stop all this other wise i will put an FIR for this number. "This reply was do what ever you can do".Please look into the matter
    the sms that i get is take similar no as of mine...

      My Name is Naveen Mehta ( Having Airtel connection from last 5 Year - no. +[protected].

      There was a deduction of amount in my this prepaid no. , when I tried to contact to customer care , the person said, due to double internet pack activation the balance is got deducted and same had been reversed by that person. But on the same day in the evening the same balance automatically deducted from my account . After that when I again tried to contact to customer care for the same then no body is able to give back my money ( that is totally unfair) .

      If Airtel provides this kind of behavior to their old customer then how can they add new customers in this challenging market.


      I would like to request you to please help me in this matter and help me to get my money back from airtel.

      Airtel Prepaid — unfair deduction of money from prepaid

      there is everyday a deduction of 3rs from my prepaid account balance
      and i even cannot reach the customer care on 121
      these people are looting
      Without my knowledge start Hello Tune & deduct charges from my Air Tel Mobile[protected], which is not acceptable to me. Pls stop Hello Tune & Joke Junction and refund my deducted charges.

          I am been getting lots of missed call from [protected]. When i had called your call centre they had given me option of enabling DND over an SMS but it is on chargeable basis @ Rs. 30.00 per month.

          Not sure why we should be pay when this call is not intended to me and also this is not a small issue, most of the Airtel people are having this issue, hence i would suggest Airtel to take action on this immedaitely.

            I had applied for a braodband connection with Airtel. They were prompt in collecting my documents and initial connection/activation charge of Rs.500

            After 2 weeks there was no action and i called the concerned person to check on the status. He mentioned that there was some technical glitch and not able to load the form into the system. This went on for 2 weeks. After repeated calls and requests they said its prcoessed now and gave a phone number. But again there was no action on the internet connection and again after 2 weeks of repeated calling they came back and said connection not possible because of non availabilty of pin for my area.

            I feel they have done this intentionally and do not want to give a connection because i was regularly following them up daily to get my connection activated. They have not yet refunded the amount

            please advice

            Airtel — no internet connection after 2 months

            despite my advance payment for 3 months of mobile internet connection, Airtel was not able to provide any GPRS coverage in my home. Telephone service was working without any problems. I called Airtel 121 every couple of days, and was told that the case would be fixed within 48-72 hours. After this procedure had continued for nearly 2 months with no result, I decided to cancel my connection and take the company to court for compensation claims over business loss and mental agony.
            The behavior they displayed highlights the complete disregard Airtel has for their clients, despite friendliness and hundreds of apologetic phrases.
            They have not reacted to my offers for an out-of-court settlement, so the case is still pending.

            Airtel Broadband — No connection after 2 weeks

            On March 24th 2010 had applied for a IP TV/Broadband connection by paying 1750/- to Sales executive-Vicky Chaddha at Airtel Gurgaon Care Centre at Galleria,Gurgaon.I was assured it would be installed in 4 working days.Even after 2 weeks there has been nobody who has come to even enquire as to where the connection has to be established.Call centre has no information even after giving details of reciept -IP[protected].Technical guys promised connection after a delay of 7 days now they do not pick up calls.

                  I have made a request to change my DSL line from one room to another I have done this 5 times and no one shows up but @ the end of the day it case just closes. my name is priya and my last ref no is 19615854. The worst service that I have seen from Airtel. they are usually so good and I used tell all my friends to change to them Now I guess I myself will be changing them if not resloved soon.

                    Airtel Mobile — Anonymous call from an Airtel mobile

                    I am receiving an anonymous call (from an airtel mobile +91-[protected]) and whenever i try to attend they either disconnect. If i try to call back, they switch of the mobile. I have received more than 25 calls in a single day...and it is really annoying.

                    How do i Handle this. Should I really lodge a complaint in the local police station.?

                      This is Roshan Sharma, using AIRTEL mobile no. +91 [protected] having my query regarding the illogical AIRTEL internet proportionate policy.

                      I have received a postpaid AIRTEL bill no.[protected], dated 27th july’12 for my airtel number [protected] for Rs. 3000.31/- (after all discount). Containing Rs. 2400/- for 2G internet usage.


                      There are two complains:

                      1) My credit limit was Rs. 1,300/-, but they have slammed the bill of Rs. 3,000/-. (exceeding Rs. 1700/- above my credit limit). They have specifically stated the fact in there [introductory call that as soon as my bill amount will reach Rs. 1300/- my services will be debarred . (But still not done the same).


                      2) They have charged Rs. 2400 on account of internet usage, on the basis of AIRTEL proportionate usage policy.

                      a) I have activated AIRTEL 98 GPRS pack which gives user 1024 MB (1GB) of internet usage for the period of one month.

                      • I have used the same services for 19 days out of 30 days in the period from 26thJune'12 to 04th July'12 (9 days) and then again used the same pack for 16th July’12 to 25th July’12 (10 days) . Total proportionate usage available to me is 648 MB (1024*19/30). And during this period I have used 512 MB of internet which is under the proportionate limit available to me.
                      • When I contacted the Customer care for the same, it has been said to me that the services will be calculated on proportionate basis and separately for first 9 days and then separately for the rest of the 10 days., irrespective they have charged the GPRS charges for the whole 19 days.
                      • I am unable to understand the logic of this, as the pack is same, they have charged the amount for 19 days, then why they are not giving me the consolidated usage for 19 days. I think it should be on the wish of customer that how he has to use his cell-phone.

                      b) I have a postpaid plan of Rs. 249 MB under which I can use 200 MB internet. I have activated that 200 MB pack during the remaining period of the month for 11 days (05th July’12 to 15th july’12) and used only 141 MB out of the available 200 MB. But still I got charged for the internet usage for that period also and when I contacted to the AIRTEL customer care, they said the same is calculated on proportionate basis and I will only get proportionate of 200 MB for 11 days only.

                      I can’t find how they can calculate the 200 MB free internet usage (as it was including in my rental service of Rs. 249 per month) on proportionate basis as they are charging the 249 rupees of my plan irrespective of mine use of any of there services.



                      I have contacted three-four times for resolving the same but could not find a positive reply from any of the customer care executive.

                        Dear shri Sunil Mittal,

                        My DSL comnnection is not working from last 10 days. Neighter TV is working nor Internet is working. Inspite of repeated telephonic request, no action is being taken by your service staff. Even they have stopped lifting the phone. This is really frustating affair with your services for IPTV connection holders. Airtel always claims of best & prompt service which i feel is just a publicity.

                        can you ask the concern staff to immediately take the action to rectify my complaint and also take stern action against the erring service staff.

                          Respected Sir,

                          I beg to say to you that I am Manu Shandilya from (H.No. 109/2 Ahiwara , Ballabgarh, Dist: Faridabad, State: Haryana, Pin : 121004). I am having trouble in using my Airtel 3G Data Card. I purchased an Airtel 3G Data Card (Number: [protected], Sim no:[protected] with prepaid connection.

                          For the past 3-4 days I am continuously filing complaint in customer support for the bad download speed I am getting. Everytime I was assured that the issue will be resolved in 24 hours of time.

                          Therefore, keeping faith on the Airtel customer support promise I recharged my 3G data card two times (1st 2Gb recharge of Rs. 450 and 2nd time 1GB Recharge of Rs. 250) to download an urgent file of 350MB. But none of the recharge was able to download my data, out of the 3GB data usage which I got from the above two recharges currently only 180MB approx. is left but my file is still pending for download.

                          This is because we are bearing power cuts continiously in every 3 to 4 hours due to which my download gets interrupted in between and when the power comes back it begins download from start.

                          Thus, my amount of Rs. 700.00 (Rs. 450.00 + Rs. 250) has been wasted and it is a big amount for me much for me.

                          Again recently, on August 01, 2012 at 7:16pm when I contacted Airtel customer care and asked for the compensation of $700.00 which I lost. They denied for it and asked me that your problem will be resolved but refund cannot be made for my loss.

                          Please help me.

                            With reference to the above i would request you to launch a complaint against the service provider airtel because its not providing a satisfactory service at all.The problem faced by me is that recently i have ported from vodafone to airtel and first i had problem in porting and it took around a month for my no to get ported which is [protected] and after it got ported now again after one and a half week they are asking me resubmit the documents again or else the no will get cancelled.And even i went to the nearest airtel outlet in R.T.Nagar but they dint even launch a complaint against it, so now because of their mistake they are telling to resubmit the documents again and will take 5 working days and because of this its causing me a lot problem when i most needed my no to be active but they barred my no completely.And even i am not able to contact the customer care to make any complaint and receive any details.
                            So i would request you to launch a complaint against it and provide a suitable remedy for it.No matter what it makes i will fight for it and get a suitable remedy against.

                              Hi....i ve been using airtel 3g for the past 4 months without any problem, but from the past 2 weeks instead of getting 3g speeds i am getting not even 2g speeds.....my handset(galaxy note n7000) shows H Sign for HSDPA but still 3g speeds are inaccessible......i ve contacted customer care many times but every time they say we are forwarding your complaint to our backend team and give certain date before which the problem should solve but they dont do anything........i m living in jawahar nagar area of srinagar and there are no issues of weak network or anything like that.........i ve activated Rs. 750 3g plan and its getting wasted.......and by the way ive used sims of other network providers in my handset and their 3g works superb so there is no issue of faulty handset......please look into the matter asap.....thanx

                              I had purchased Airtel 3G connection is gurgaon and taken a rs. 750 user plan. Currently I have come to kokatta to visit my family and the airtel 3G connection is not working here. I tried calling the customer support number but they are saying that they do not have 3G facility in kolkata whereas at the time of purchase they said I could use this connection anywhere in India. I feel like being cheated by these airtel people.

                              Any help or guidance in this regard will be highly appreciated.

                                I have received a cumulative bill of about 2,500/- against a land line with no [protected].Official record as per Airtel people showed the installation date to be on Feb 2012,which was never installed. The line was supposedly was disconnected because of non-pament of due on may- that too with out any notice !! On 29th of July i got a the Air-tel authority that a case has been filed against me in Delhi High-Court for the same.
                                Please clarify the matter as soon as possible otherwise I have to take the help of the consumer court for proper action against the company.
                                Please note : we have a broadband connection in my wife's name ( Dr kinjal bakshi, in the same address, from the same duration), for which we are paying the bills every month onetime.

                                  I am using Airtel broadband from last 3 year. When i buy this connection i got the promise from the airtel that If any thing goes wrong with your router then airtel will give you the immediate replacement. But today when i launch the complaint again this faulty router they are not launching the complaint.

                                  They are refusing and saying As per the new airtel policy this is not possible. When the customer is buying the service that time this policy is not exists then how airtel will apply this policy to their old customers....?

                                  Can i assume this is cheating by Airtel...?

And my number [protected] has been selected for 10lac lottery. And i have to give him my bank account no so company will trancefer my 10lac in my account.and he give me a lotteri no 063 . Buy i think this is a fake call. So why company not taking sny strict sction on duch act.

                                      Hi,

                                      I am currently in USA for my business travel. My airtel prepaid sim card was working, however it stopped working about a month ago. My airtel phone number is: [protected]. It gives me an error "Location Registration Failed" and it can't register the Sim card anymore. I have removed the sim card and tried different handsets, but the same issue exists. Please help me. I need this phone in order to communicate.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        Recently I had purchased a Postpaid Sim Card from the Airtel office in Kodambakkam branch. Inspite of telling that I was unemployed during that time I was sold this no: [protected]. I was completely unaware that unemployed can never have a postpaid connection. I paid the Deposit amount of Rs.330/-
                                        The connection was fine and worked for two to three days. Later the connection was cut. When enquired with the customer care I was informed that since I was unemployed I was refused that connection.

                                        When I asked the Deposit amount back since I was wrongly sold the customer directed me to enquire that with airtel office person whom I had bought the sim. When I went there initially they told me I will receive a refund cheque. Later when I had waited enough for my cheque I raised this issue again with the customer care, There I was again told to inform to the person who had sold me cause its them who had to raise a concern from their side. When I went back again to the airtel office I was told that they had nothing to do with this cause they had already raised a complaint and I have to call the customer care again. I have been shuttled around and I am really feeling bad to have chosen this connection.

                                        Please let me know if anything could be done on this issue. I would like to get my deposit back or the connection back as I am employed currently.
