receiving promotional calls from last 4 months, after registering for DND service, 4 times compalints has been raised .recievd the compalints no.also still the same problem.plus the the cusotmer service executives gives the response is pathetic..services are diabolical..

Complaints about Airtel:

I wanted to activate BB Services on my phone, Called Customer Care 121
First they kept me on wait for 5min, after picking the phone once.
Second, called again, they told me to call 7070.
Called 7070: No point: Since I dont have any data services activated, please call 121
Fourth Call, 121: Lady told me the different plans: 299, 399, 899. Asked her the difference in those plans, she says call 7070/[protected] for that and CUT THE PHONE without listening to me. I was informing her 7070 doesnt work.
Fifth Call: Not from Airtel, cause thats how you people only listen. But sadly I was wrong again. Picked up phone, put me on wait for 5 min when I asked the details of plans. Couldnt wait any longer.

PS: I also have subscribed for DND. Does it take a month to activate that as well??

    Its ridiculous that airtel.in/mms webstie does not exist but they still keep sending those links to all users.
    So many complaints have been made with their customer care but till date not resolved.

    I hope there is some action taken on airtel by registering the complaint here.

    The error is coming while creating group on mobiles is as under

    [protected] is already member of group. you cannot add this subcriber in your group (5)

    I have checked in customer care that this number is not in group as per call centre person

    also i was called on 09.02.2009 to customer care for lodging complaint for non creating group & coming error

    i was called on 09.02.09 at 10.30 pm & i enjoyed group calling at 10 paise per minute

    I was called on [protected] for 3 times & i enjoy facility

    but when i called on 10.02.2009 at 1.00 pm (tentetive) for 715 second means 11.97 minutes so the charge was deducted 12 rupees instead of Rs. 1.20 paise so i called to customer care on 10.02.09 at 3.00 pm (tentetive) then customer care exeutve given me credit Rs. 1.30 paise wrongly instead of Rs. 10.80 paise so again i was trying for 2 hours on customer care but i didnt contacted

    also i called on 11.02.09 at 6.00 pm for 1 minute & charge deducted Rs. 1 instead of 10 paise

    so please check all in your system & give me credit of Rs. 10 & 40 paise at the earlist

    Break up is as under

    called on 10.02.2009 at 1.00 pm for 715 second charges Rs. 12.00

    actual to be charge Rs. 1.20

    Refund / credit to be paid in my account Rs. 10.80

    Credit given on 10.02.09 at 3 pm wrongly Rs. 1.30

    Net refund ( A ) Rs. 9.50

    (B) called on 10.02.09 at 6 pm 1 minute charged Rs. 1 instead of 10 paise

    Total Refund / credit A + B = 9.50 + .90 paise = 10.40 paise

    Please give credit in my account at the earlist

      My Airtel Post paid plan phone number is[protected]

      I have registered the number at Salem, Tamilnadu

      I was paying the bills to Airtel till date without any hitch

      I have been shifted to Tiruchirappalli on transfer on 10.04.2008

      Since then I was paying my mobile post paid bills by cash to M/s Sri Vinayaga Associates, 9/100, Karur Bye Pass Road, TRICHY 620 018

      To my surprise I received a call on 24.06.2008 from Customer Care, Chennai that I have not remitted my bills and a sum of Rs.425 is to be paid immediately, to continue my connection.

      I give hereunder the details of the cash bills issued by Airtel franchisees, from which you may understand that there is no bill for Rs.425 on my mobile.

      01.Receipt No.[protected] dt. 29.02.2008 for Rs.470.00 paid by cash to M/s B K Cell Comm., KR Square, 116, Omaloor Main Road, Salem.

      02. Receipt No. 187 dt. 29.03.2008 for Rs.502.00 issued by M/s Prem Tel, 22C/7, Shiva Plaza, Saradha College Road, Salem 636 016.

      03. Receipt No.[protected] dated 29.04.2008 for Rs.502.00 issued by M/s Sri Vinayaga Associates, 9/100, Karur Bye Pass Road, Trichy.

      04. Receipt No.[protected] dated 02.05.2008 for Rs.210.00 issued by M/s Sri Vijayaga Associates, 9/100, Karur Bye Pass Road, Trichy

      05. Receipt No.[protected] dated 28.05.2008 for Rs.670.00 issued by M/s Sri Vijanaya Associates, 9/100, Karur Bye Pass Road, Trichy.

      Incidentally, I wish to state that when my son remitted Rs.712.00 on 29.04.2008 the dealer has issued a receipt for Rs.502.00 only. The mistake was found out on my return from my office and I asked my son to verify with the dealer. The dealer has informed my son that they will be verifying the payment and then do the needful. They have given a separate receipt for Rs.210.00 on 02.05.2008, as stated above.

      On receiving the message from Customer Care, Chennai on 24.06.2008, I asked my son to verify the payment details with the dealer. On verification, the dealer informed my son that I have a balance of Rs.425.00 to be paid. When my son insisted for the account details, he was again told that the account will be checked and informed later.

      On 25.06.2008 at 17.47.10 Hrs. I received a message from PymtCon of Airtel which reads as under :

      We confirm the receipt o[censored]r payment for Rs.425.
      Cheque payments are subject to realisation. For
      payment details calll our toll free No. 12114.

      Sender : (no name) PymtCon

      Received : 17:47:10 25.06.2008

      From the above details, I clearly drive home the point that there is deficiency of service by Airtel through their franchisee M/s Sri Vinayaga Associates, 9/100, Karur Byepass Road, Trichy 620 018.

      I am a Bank Manager and I was on an important customer meeting at 4.00 pm when I received a call from Customercare, Chennai detailed above. This has put me in an awkward position before my customers and I felt mentally tortured.

      Kindly take up the matter with the concerned and find out the truth what is happening in Airtel billing system with the particular Franchisee or Airtel in general. Where the mistake has crept in ? Why I was forced to pay Rs.425.00 which is not at all a bill amount for my mobile phone ?

      I shall be thankful for getting a redressal through your goodselves.

        I am a software Engg, I have to roam a lot, For that i choose Airtel, But in EVERY TWO DAYS FOR 3/5 HOURS, there is no network.After that a Msg comes, sorry fiber cable problem.

          Airtel Broadband — Airtel Broadband Home 2222

          I opted for Airtel Broadband Home 1499 and thought that i would shift to Home 2222 1mb/s unlimited after my Boards. Now When i called them to change it, they said, we have discontinued that plan since february. what is this... this is ridiculous. First of all they do not provide the services at a cheap rate, and when the customer is willing to give high rate, then they discontinue the service..
          Internet in all Europe and America is at least 10 times cheaper then what we get in India. If something is not done here., india's progress will hinder and big time..

          Airtel and other broadband should revise their plans and rates and make them at least feasible.
          have applied for broadband connection through form no BA224430 ON 26/02/09.AT BANGALORE-BASAVANAGAR
          YET THE CONNECTION IS NOT RECEIVED OR ANY REPLY FROM UR SIDE.

            I have taken a new Airtel lifetime prepaid sim 15 days back. Since then I am facing this weird problem. I am not receiving any phone call from some specific zones. My friends, having numbers with Maharashtra Airtel, Karnataka Airtel, Kolkata Reliance have told me that whenever they try my number they hear "This is not a valid number. Please check the number and dial again." Till now they have not been able to contact me. I have talked to airtel customercare only to waste my time. Nothing happened. Then I tried to email [protected]@airtelindia.com with my mobile number in the subject line. Now here comes the funniest part. Instantly I received an autogenerated email stating "We are unable to process your request as your mobile number is not in following format: 98XXXXXXXX or 99XXXXXXXX ".
            I have got my mobile number starting with "900". Then I enquired with lots of people with numbers starting with "900". All had complained similar problems. One guy said, he can receive calls made from his home mobile but not from home landline.
            So what I understood is, their system is full of bugs. They started selling new connections with "900" numbers but somewhere they didnt include this new range of numbers.
            I now really wonder how Airtel got such brand name. Is this the quality of service they offer?
            I am now considering to switch to IDEA/ VODAFONE. But what about my 400 rupees that I spent to buy this Airtel lifetime SIM ?

            I am facing the same issue since a month now.and unfortunately its my husband's number, I have mentioned it to customer care but they closed the ticket saying its due to temporary congestion.

            its gettin on my nerve as i dnt like changing my numbers and informing my calling list about it!!

            I am just waiting that it gets over soon so that i need not to change to other service provider.
            I am facing a similar problem calling to many of my friends who are on DoCoMo. The worst part is, after trying 2 or 3 times, it goes through! I am beginning to think, this is a problem in only one switch/server which is not configured with new number ranges.

            I am facing the same problem i cant able to call my another airtel number its said you are dialing a wrong number and customer care also not supporting in this and from another number i am getting calls so where and what is the problem i am still not u understand
            I have recently moved to Ranchi from Kolkata and I am facing the same issue since then. Whenever I try to call my father's number (Reliance Jio Prepaid) from my Airtel Postpaid, it says "this number is not valid". I didnt come across this issue within Kolkata. Airtel customer care says this is a network congestion issue which may happen sometimes but I have observed that this happens each and every time since last 02-03 months.

            Very poor network service from Airtel.

              Further to our letter dated above, the same is yet to be closed at your end. I have received a SMS on 20th June 2008 as acknowledgement for the request placed vide letter at your office regarding the subject matter. Meanwhile, since there was no revert from your end, I have taken this up myself with your customer care on 19th June 2008 vide Ref no.[protected], to check whether my complaint is resolved.

              Further there was no progress later to the same I have again called the customer care on 22nd June 2008 for change of Company name in the address and verification vide reference no.[protected] with Mr Francis Arulappan saying the same was not effected and received an acknowledgement SMS

              But till date there is no progress and now I have received an SMS alert on the payment due. Please note that since there is no positive revert or progress from your end, I am taking up the same with the Cosumer Forum today.

              Also note that I would not be making any payments till such time the issue is resolved. I would urge that there should no distruption in the services due to non-payment of the bill.

                fake billings & mental harassment

                I am Devesh sharma from bhopal{madhya pradesh}.i have been using Airtel broadband conection for internet usage for about couple of years. i have been making payments also withinn 72 hours after recieving bill from the airtel. My ID.no. is 11579703.But since april, i am suffering mentaly as well as financially due to fake biling from airtel.                 I am facing some problem in sending sms to a particular no. I am from Bhopal and the reciever is from Erode in Tamil nadu. I am Aitel user and the reciever is Aircel user. Whenever I send sms to that number I got reports pending, my balance is deducted at same time but message in not delivered. I have forwarded my first complaint on 13/06/2008 and no action were taken in that respect. I am disgusted with their such behaviour.

                I am facing some problem with Airtel-Karnataka, very frequently. while sending one SMS, 6 sms's charges are deducted from my pre-paid a/c. i given complaint to Customer care 121, i got reply, saying that, with in 72 hours, it will be rectifeied. But there is no reply from Customer care. i think Airtel custmer care section sleeping. Almost 1 & 1/2 month over, There s no responce from Airtel Customer care. My number is [protected].(perpaid connetion). I feel the people are cheating/robbering .
                I am from Rajasthan jodhpur my mobile no is [protected]. My problem is with airtel sms pack, I had been recharge my Mobile with std sms pack & then local sms pack, when i send any std sms then the charge 1.50 RS deducted from local sms pack.against this i had call many times in airtel customer care, but they not give satisfy answer, many times after put phone on hold it was disconnect.After many attempts i had log the call with complaint no.[protected] on 08/05 2009 & they give time to complete the call on 13/0502009.
                I had not received any response between these days. After that i had again call to custmer care, but the unable to help me, then they gives me the number of nodal officer Miss Jyoti:-[protected]. after lots of attampt i had talk with her on 22/05/2009 ( friday)& she ensure me your problem will resolved on 25/05/2009 (monday) and gave her mail id [protected]@airtelindia.com & nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in.
                Till the monday problem had been not resolved, then i had mark the mail on both id. but they are unable to resolve my issue, so pls do the needfull & take appropriate action.

                  I have Airtel Postpaid connection from last 3 months. Since I have taken this connection, I have not received the hardcopy or softcopy of my postpaid bill. This is the worst service I ever received from any service company.

                  When I have taken the connection I have given my email address to get the softcopy of my bill. After 1 month, when I did not receive the bill, I have called the customer care and with my surprise I have found that it is a different email address registered with them. I asked them to change it. After a few days I have activated my online account with Airtel (from www.airtel.in). Unfortunately, the account database was still registered with the wrong email address. To rectify this I called the customer service again and enquired about the previous request and asked them to delete the wrong email address and update the right one in their database. Finally it was communicated to me that my email address was changed and from next month I should get my bills. But I was not that fortunate.

                  On the second month, I have received an Airtel Postpaid detailed bill of someone else. I could not believe my eyes. A well-established company like Airtel actually does not care about the privacy of their customers. They might have sent my customized postpaid bill to some other email address. And this is going on and on. This is the third month with Airtel postpaid connection and without any difference this month also I have received another customer’s postpaid bill. To pay my bill I have to log in to their website and check my detailed bill. That is the only option I have left out and I am doing the same for last three months. I am so frustrated now that it does not make any sense to call the customer service and get a new request number (I already have plenty of the… I have even spoken to the supervisors few times).

                  Please let me know how to resolve the issue.
                  I am out of town and i left my airtel mobil at my home and i would like to know and view my call details...on line
                  Pls advice me..as soon as possiable...

                    Hi,

                    I just got a prepaid connection number [protected] from a dealer. Dealer didn't ask me to summit any papers and just gave me the SIM. Airtel should take strict action again such franchises.

                    Now after 15 days this number is disconnected with any information. I went to airtel showroom on 24th June around 7:30 PM and summited all the papers ( Landline airtel bill for address proof, PAN card for photo identification and Airtel form)
                    I was told that the number will be activated by next day afternoon. But the number got activated in half an hour. I was happy about it. But next day around 6PM the number got disactivated again without any intimation. It was hard time dealing there with the people. Looks like Airtel customer center in Noida at Shopprix Mall in Sector 61 is least bothered about the customer problem. I called up at 51111 from there and had to argue for almost 30 mins over the phone as none could give me a satisfactory explanation about the problem. I was told by customer service people that the verification has failed. They didn't tell me the reason for the same. I was asked to resummit the papers. This is ridiculous, that I have to summit the all the documents again. I had to do the same as I was pretty sure that they would stick to few lines which have learn during there training and which they keep repeating irrespective of what you say.
                    Complaint number given to me is [protected]

                    At night again I called up customer care and had a talk with Mr. Rohit and after talking to him it looked like he is least bother about the problem. He just knows that address verification proff has failed and if I have summited the papers again it will take 48 hrs. When I asked him that I want to talk to his supervisor he told me that he can't transfer the call and refused to give me his id number.

                    Is there something Airtel as a company can do about it ?
                    It a big pain to have the number deactivated without any information.

                        My father & one of the worker (Mr. Parab) in my office is receiving unwanted cricket scores and promotional sms on their AIrtel Phones. I did apply for DND service on my father's phone last month ago.

                          Dear Authority,
                          I have been using Airtel's postpaid mobile services ([protected]) for last 2 and a half year with a very good credit history. I have been using the services with an illusion that the customer service and compalint resolutions are good however its worst here as Idea has.
                          Because of an outstanding of Rs. 2100/-, without any prior information my SIM registration was failed however they would have barred my outgoing calls. I called up Appellate Authority in the morning on 24th Jun'08 after a good struggle to get through his number, he asked me to call Nodal Officer. I called up Nodal Officer's number however the number was continuously busy for more than 2 hrs. At last i called up postpaid customer care and the reply i received from Floor Manager (Rahul Srivastav and Shrey Thapar) was unexpected from asenior personal of such a reputed company. Shreya Thapar was extremely missbehaving and unprofessional and he was less bothered about customer satisfaction and complaint resolution as the company is his paternal property. There should be a disclipenary action taken against him (Shrey Thapar).
                          In terms of payment, i have made payments in advance than my due amount however the collection people are very rude and mismanaged. There is no provision to disconnect SIM from the network for 45 days of last due date. Its completely being less bothered about customers issues. Even there is highest volume of compalint against Airtel in the forum.
                          I am expecting an honest and active response from the authority.

                          Airtel — POOR SERVICE, MISMANAGEMENT

                          I am having an airtel connection since two months. My connection is been disconnected since 10 days. As all my bills were paid and no requests were logged for disconnecting this number.
                          Inspite of many calls to consumer helpline my problem was remained unattained.

                          Silly reasons were given for this. Bills are unpaid, i requested for closing etc etc.

                          Every time they say SORRY but services were not provided.

                          The poorest service i ever saw in INDIA.
                          Exactly the same thing I am bearing. Can you tell me if your concern with Airtel mismannagement is now fixed?

                            I am employed with Everest Industries Limited having office at Mumbai. In or about Feb 2006, your marketing representative visited my Thane office and gave demo for the usage features of your card. While I was inquiring about the features of your card, your marketing representative obtained my signatures on some forms and obtained some documents from me for purpose of noting my name as “interested member” for filling inquiry form. Subsequently your Bank Credit Card bearing No[protected] was posted to me at my office address.

                            I say that without my using your card, your Bank sent me statement for Rs.210/-.approximately. I say that I immediately called your customer care number putting forth my grievance and called upon them to cancel my card and terminate services with immediate effect. I also called upon them to sent me letter for “No claim”, to which they showed their inability and stated that same is granted only in case where there is any dispute above Rs.1000/-, however they assured me that card is cancelled and services are terminated. I say that subsequent thereof, I have not received any statement from your bank till date.

                            I say that from last about 15 days, I am receiving sms from your bank for payment of Rs.4570/- towards aforesaid credit card pending bills. I had never imagine of such conduct from Big Banking Corporation like yours. I say that without usage of your services, how can I be made and forced to pay charges levied by you. I put forth my grievances with your customer care at Ram Maruti Rd branch, Thane who showed their inability to locate my bills and pending dues. They were also unable to provide me any Bank statement though I was ready and willing to bear the cost for same. I say that I also spoke to Mr.66667070 of your Bank collection centre at Mumbai,[protected] who responded to me rudely as if I am bring defaulter / criminal. I say that thereafter I spoke to your Delhi Recovery Cell at Telephone No[protected]/45023968 with Mr.Basant, who was also not able to resolve to my problem or provide me statisfactory reply.

                            The said act of your to grab heavy & exorbitant amount from me for no fault of mine speaks of your volumes and attitudes to procure money by adhering to illegal means & making trap for the innocent customers like me.

                              I, Biplab Barik, am a resident of Bhubaneswar, Orissa. I am a consumer of Airtel perpaid services since the year 2005. Since the last year i.e. from December 2007, Airtel has been deduction money for Hello Tunes from my account without my request. They refunded my money on February 2008. But since one month they have again deducted money for On demand service & also for Hello tunes. I even filed a complaint & they said that my money would be refunded within 48 hours. But i hv been waiting but there is no such service from there side. Please look into my matter.

                              AirTel — Compailnt for the number

                              Airtel Broadband — Airtel's way of serving the customer - close complaints in time without solving them!

                              A copy of mail I have sent to Airtel Customer care(!):

                              I had logged a complaint (#[protected] on 8th Jan Morning regarding frequent disconnection (every 2-3 minutes). I was assured by your call center officer that some one would contact me by afternoon and the problem will be solved by evening. NOBODY contacted me till noon and I had to again call the customer care and they gave me a contact of Mr Avinash and told me he would get in touch. Nothing happened and I had to call that number to 'request' your person to come to my home and see the problem.

                              Even by 8th night the problem was NOT rectified and nobody came to my home. When I again called the customer care, they said my request would be taken care by 9th morning. Again nothing happened till 11:30 am on 9th and my connection was stillnot working.

                              Around noon on 9th the person (presumably Mr. Avinash) cameto my home and since he left my modem has been COMPLETELY offline.

                              After more than 48 hours (2 DAYS!) I again called today morning and was amused to hear that my original complaint (#[protected] was CLOSED WITHOUT SOLVING THE PROBLEM! In fact your service people made things WORSE as what was frequent disconnection problem, they made it COMPLETE DISCONNECTION!

                              The call center person then opened a new request (#[protected] for the SAME problem I had reported 2 days back.

                              Is this the way you serve your customers?

                              I am also going to publish this mail over internet and probably pursue other means to tackle this ignorance by Airtel and its staff if no appropriate action is taken by the authority.

                              Fortunately I have other internet connection which (again, fortunately) doesn't belong to Airtel (its a Hathway connection) and i could do my usual work using it. Currently I am sending this mail using that connection only as Airtel broadband is OFFLINE (as has been the case for last few days)!

                              Being the part of the telecom industry, I Think the possibility of the scene is that the customer has not been active for the said particular time of the period as mentioned in the agreement as said for life, the term refers from circle to cirle of the telecom, but presently in my zone, we have clearly mentioned the custormers to be active during the period of 6 months as the customer should be live in network and 1call has to be received and made with minimal recharge of 200 during 6months of time.

                              EMPLOYEE — MMS technical help

                              I have taken MMS connection but I am not able to have setting in my ASUS P320 handset for using this service. I tried several time to set by calling on 121 help line but the agents who are attending this call for setting the service of MMS are not giving proper instruction to install the setting. Since date of activation of MMS service I am unable to use the MMS facility. But airtel will charge the monthly ammount in my billing statement. It is not fare that after giving the connection of MMS the airtel is not providing this setting in my handset. Always one new agent lift the 121 call and instructing the way to install but they are unable to install the setting, pls help.

                              AirTel — purchase data card in 3000 Rs but not work and no response by airtel even complaint

                              i have purchased a data card but the speed is not as per cummet as per airtel . as per airtel 236.8 kbps but i got 1 kbps, even after complaint 2 times no responce by airtel.
                              I wanted to bring in notice of the company that the kind of service provided by the Airtel employees is really pathetic.Inspite of registering the complain 10 times still no action has been taken from their end. My complain ref nos are 21170185, 21215674, 21310131, 21375957,[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected]... had a talk with Ms. Neelam, Mr.Kanwar Malhotra, Mr.Rajat and the manager of Post Paid section. Lots of commitments were made by them but they didn't even had a courtesy to reply back about the progress of work and i am still struggling with my network problem. My card is a corporate post paid type. I will ask my company to forgo with Airtel sim and go for some other sim. It was really a tedious experience with Airtel and will suggest everyone to avoid it.

                              And, your executives are telling that my no is not added in any group. So, wen I try to include my no in the group created by my friend, I get the message that my number is added in the group.

                              I have written so many mails and I have called your Customer Care so many times that they have blocked my number and I can't call them now.
                              I'm trying to make your executives understand but they are not understanding the problem clearly.
                              Is this the service that you are providing to your customers?

                              Airtel — Call drop complaint but not resolved after 20 days and daily gave me call to pay my previou pending bill

                              I have given complaint to airtel customer care on 12th September 2009 regarding call droping. The person who wrote my complaint told me it will be resolved before 23rd September 2009. It can not be resolved within that time period. After then i gave call to customer care everyday but they gave me different reasons why my complaint not resolved.

                              Every time customer care told me we can forwarded you request to concern department and they will give you call within 48 hrs but never got the call.

                              Today on 29th September 2009 they told me pay your previous pending bill then we will resolve you issue other wise not.

                              There after I kept waiting for his reply from AIRTEL but i didnt got any response.I started to worry about
                              my money paid to him & made a call to him but he didnt pick up the call.I tried same thing several times but
                              I got the same.Once I tried from my friends mobile, he picked the call then I requested to get the status of
                              my connection.He started to make excuse that connection feasibilty is not possible in that area.I requested
                              him to refund my money, he gave several commitments to return the same but failed to do the same.
                              Meanwhile I made him several callsbut I didnt get any response untill I use to make call from another number.

It was assured by them that they will refund our money which was deducted by there fault from talk-time, but it is not refunded yet. A person who is higher in post is not also picking up the phone after 5-6 min. & this charges are also applied hence our money is deducting again from talk-time .

                              I thought that the biggest telecom company is worth of giving quality service to all its customers. Unfortunately I am fedup with my airtel connection(mobile).
                              They steal money from account every now and then and at most of the times they deduct more than they are supposed to do. In anycase it becomes difficult to complain since talking with the customer care is chargeable. Furthermore when I complain them, they put me on hold saying that the call is being transferred to a senior official and ultimately nobody turns up.
                              Several loop holes are there in every recharge and promotion offers of airtel.
                              We customers are always victim for that.

                              I am a Vodafone customer ( Rishi Das, residing in Kolkata ) with nothing to do with Airtel .
                              About a month back( sometime in May), I got a call from an unknown number ([protected]) inquiring "Is this Namrata?". I replied that its a wrong number, since there is no Namrata in my entire family or friend's circle, as far as I know. Then the phone line was cut.

                              Since then I have got multiple calls from the same number which claims to be Airtel Legal Department. They keep telling me that I know some Namrata from Bangalore who has given my number as her alternate contact number and she has not paid her bill.

                              Inspite of my repeated refusal, they keep calling me, harrassing me using unprofessional language.

                              I have dropped a mail to the karanataka nodal officer, to [protected]@bharti.in, to their customercare email address and every other email contact that I could collect from internet. But I have not received any response yet apart from a useless mail from 121 that says I am not their customer so they cannot do anything.

                              I fail to understand, why didn't they verify the alternate contact number when this so-called Namrata, whoever it is, applied for the connection? Does that mean just anyone can go and get an airtel connection by using any random number as his/her alternate phone no. and airtel would not even confirm before giving connection only to harrass a stranger later? Does any decent company follow such sub-standard processes?

                              I am thinking of filing a police complaint, not sure if that will help. Its been more than 2 weeks since I contacted the nodal heads, ombudsment, [protected]@aitel.in and every other email I could collect from the net. But as expected from a sub-standard company like airtel following sub-standard processes, there is no response fro anyone.

                              Could anyone please advise, what I can do in such a case to stop this harrasment caused by Airtel and teach them a lesson so that they standardise their processes of verification of alternate contact numbers before providing connection and not harrass strangers like me for no reason. I am absolutely frustrated with this and I being respectable person, am not used to the kind of roadside language they speak in the phone. What do I need to do if I want to take a legal course against them or any other suggestions would greatly help.

                              I am Kamal Prakash Sharma, Inspector of Police, Central Bureau of Investigation, Ghaziabad. I had purchased an Airtel SIM No.[protected] H 2 bearing Mobile No. +91-[protected] from M/s Shri Krishna Mobile Point, Niwari Road, Opposite - Gali No.2, Shiv Puri, Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad on 28.08.2010 (Saturday) in the noon. I had given the Photocopies of (i) my of BSNL's May month's Bill for Phone No.[protected]which is in my own name), (ii) my PAN AIMPS5974K and (iii) My CBI's Identity Card for residential & identity proof.


                              My connection got activated and I recharged the same with Rs. 444/-. However, then I was told that my residence i/d has been rejected as the BSNL's Landline Bill is for the month of May 2010. So, I gave photocopy of electricity connection of my residence for the month of August 2010, which is in the name of my father Shri Om Prakash Ji, which was accepted by the dealer and passon through agent Shri Ankur (+91-[protected]).

                              Despite said all these developments, my mobile has not been activated till date. I also lodged a formal complaint with 198 (Sr. Supervisor) on 19.08.2010, who assured me to rectify my problem by 1746 hrs on 20.09.2010. In the night of 20.09.2010 at about 2230 hrs, when I contacted 121, I was informed that my i/d papers have not reached to them.

                              UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES, IT IS REQUESTED THAT NECESSARY ACTION MAY BE TAKEN AND INFORMED ME URGENTLY TO AVOID ANY LEGAL SUITS FROM APPROPRIATE LEVELS.

                              We are facing internet problem from last few weeks. We are continuously making calls to Airtel Helpline but the problem has not been resolved yet.

                              First time on Oct 7/2010 we looged a ticket[protected] and it has been resolved only for four hours only after that I reopened the call again but your guys without resolving the issue enter the status to close.

                              We again logged a complaint on 13/10/2010 ticket no. is 38739632 hadn't been resolved again but again they put status to close saying that was a mass problem but nothing resolved on our end.

                              Again on 19/10/2010 we logged a complaint with ticket no. 38937138 they again close this issue saying mass problem.

                              Can you tell me that without confirmation how can they close the call. If this was a mass problem. they should confirm about the status and then close the call.

                              From 2 or more weeks we are sitting ideal because of internet. We selected AIRTEL because its a brand and brand has some values for the customers. I am really frustrated because of this kind of service.

                              Some Alcatel person visited to our venue to change the wire system. Despite of doing the work they just pulled internet wire out and didn't fix them before going.

                              If you can tell me that if a person having all the work on internet then how would he be able to perform that task.
                              I will not pay a single peny to you people and definitely go for some legal action.

                              per his request i took a pre-paid connection card and an airtel net connection package for 474 on Dec 27th 2010. It was after 24 hrs that while trying to
                              access my mails did i get the message that airtel does not support Black berry 9100 and later on upon calling customer support i was told that i need to
                              take another net package with Blackberry. I took that. I have been calling customer support for the past 2 to 3 weeks regarding this issue and was told
                              that they have given the request that my balance would be refunded and added to my present talk time even thought they said they had no option and was
                              given a time limit of 24hrs. When i called up after a few days to see what my status is.. the story goes on.. each of the representatives says the same
                              we have no option and finally connects to the team leader and this connection from the low level to senior level would take minutes and disappointed
                              i would sometimes hang up


                              If this net connection package does not support a particular set, it should have been informed to the customer and not make him pay for something which
                              is worthless for his handset.

                              I m a NEW consumer of Airtel Landlane with Broadband connection. Living in Aliganj area of Lucknow. Due to sever construction in my area , the main cable of Airtel Landlines has disconnected since last 4 days. So my connection goes dead. I have complained to Airtel 2 times. But they didn't taken any action.

                              Although in my area BSNL persons have corrected this same issue. Its same for Airtel that they haven't corrected yet.I ham now fade up with Airtel service. I didn't expected this from Airtel.

                              I applied for port out from Airtel on 8th April 2011.on 9th april i got call from Airtel requesting me to continue in their network. They did not follow TRAI guidelines regarding MNP. They sent an SMS on 20.04.11 but did not mention the reason for rejection. After trying alot on 25.04.11 i could find the reason for rejection.when i sent a message for UPC on 26.04.11, i did not get the code but balance was deducted from my account. There is no action on this issue even after 24Hrs of giving complaint.This is Airtel is cheating the customers throughout the country. To my surprise, i don't know how they are claiming themselves as no.1 network in india(may be in cheating). I request all the Airtel customers to come out of the network.
                              Airtel may be one of the biggest companies in telecommunication field. But, their executives are very low standard and behaving like street rowdies. I am a Keralite and recently I had a very bad experience with Airtel's office in Kochi. Being a NRI, I couldn't meet that street rowdy who spoke with me in his ugly language, but during my next vacation I will definitely meet that person and teach him a lesson at any cost. I appeal to the higher management of Airtel to educate their executives and give them some training how to deal with the customers. Otherwise, the company will lose their reputation and they cannot survive at least in Kerala. In Kerala, the common people will not allow gundayism and rowdy activities. Be careful.
                              yes, I have also noticed that they (Airtel) activate some or other service (some times even more than one) without request, without even giving any notice to customer and deduct the charges every month from the available balance of the customer. When we call to customer care and ask about, they used to say "Aapne hi request kiya hoga" and we feel helpless.

                              This is to complaint against the unautharised deduction of charges saying downloaded things which i have not actually done.because of this i am not able to recharge my phone since january2011. No action was taken in this regard by airtel staffs even after complaining many times. Hope necessary steps will be taken to solve this problem and to stop service messages to enable me to recharge the phone and use it smoothly.                               This is parul sharma. User of airtel prepaid mobile No.([protected]) having address details 4A 354 Budhi vihar, majhola, awas vikas, delhi road, Moradabad.
                              From 13July 2013 my number is not working and it gave message that "your service is terminated".
                              But when i inquired on customer service on 15July, they told me that number is still working and call are going on some particular number from this number on 15, 14 and 13 july itself.
                              On 16July (today ) itself when i came to know the status in gurgaon sec 14 airtel office, they told me that a new sim is issued on this number but they are not ready for giving me the details.
                              I am really dissapointed by the pothatic service of airtel that without my knowledge how can this be happen, its a threat to my safety.
                              I really want some immediate action from your side specially the bill details ASAP and immediate action .

                              Don't know what attitude do Airtel recruitment team have. I had a call asked to go for interview. I was so ill but somehow manage to travel 35km for interview. As I reached their the guard ask me whom to meet and I gave the name he called him and he simply said no interview. Don't even they have humanity. Someone from.what situation is.coming to them and they even have time to Atleast meet them. Hate for Airtel. Incident was from raipur

                                Hello,

                                My name is Sandeep and had called 121 customer care as I was unable to deactivate GPRS from 4 days. My prepaid number is [protected]. I spoke to an executive at 3.15am on 24/06/08 and he provided me with a Service Request no [protected] and informed me that the GPRS will be deactivated within 3 hours. When I called 121 back at 12 pm the same day, Mr Jai informed me that GPRS was deactivated on my number as per the request taken. However it was still active. Then when I called back, another executive says that there was no request number that I had provided and that th enumber was a fake number.

                                The customer care executive fool the customers providing them with false request numbers. Also Airtel from past 4 days is undergoing upgradation and I am unable to deactivate my GPRS from past 4 days. I am being charged 15/per day for this service and wont be provided with a refund.

                                Serious action needs to be taken against Airtel prepaid mobile customer care

                                Please note that I have subscribed to Airtel Pre-Paid vide cell no. [protected] under the 1 year validity scheme. I am particularly impressed by your service especially in the remote areas where I have to move frequently for work. But I would like to point out a particular problem that I have been facing for some years now. The problem is the non-performance of Airtel tower stationed at my residential place at Brahmapur (Pin – 700096). The tower and connection seems to be ok when outside but once inside the residence the tower is almost non-existent. The "Cell Information Displays" sometimes the tower name as Boral, Palpara or Brahmapur with just 1 tower or select "Network Connection – Manual or Automatic".



                                With regard to this problem I have lodged a complaint with your "Customer Care – Executive" fully briefing him of the problems, who took down my complaint and assured me that the problem will be solved by your network team within the 1st week of November. But till date neither the problem has been solved nor have I received any updates on this issue.



                                I also had other Airtel connection but I had to disconnect the line for this very problem. Please arrange to fix the problem at the earliest as not only me but also others at my residential place are facing the same problem. I sincerely hope that this is my last complaint with regard to this matter.

                                Please note that I have logged a complaint with your AIRTEL Store at Park Street with regard to the subjected matter vide letter dated 14.11.2008. The executive at your store took down my complain (Service Request no #[protected] with a assurance that the preobem will be resolved within 7 working days i.e by 22nd November 2008.

                                But I am very sorry to say that till date the complain is yet to be attended or looked into. I have also mailed regarding the poor network service but no response have been received. This is really heartning and unexpected from a prestigious concern like you. Being such a big corporate house your first concern should be customer satisfaction which has been totally ignored. This type of response is totally unexpected and uncalled for.

                                Finally, I would like to know if the complain is going to be attended or not. If the problem cannot be solved please do intimate accordingly so that I can disconnect the line immediately.

                                Expecting your prompt and earliest response in this regard.

                                Hi. The hello tune services with Airtel is so very very sad that i don't get words to explain. I have this problem every time with airtel. I opt for a hello tune and it will not be activated for two days. Again i call up the customer care people, they do not know how to solve it!! They say application is down always, when i say 'always', i completely mean it. Every time they have this problem. And the next thing is, I happened to call a customer care executive at around 5:30 pm on 30th July, 2009 from Bangalore, Old airport road, the person received the call, when i explained my problem, he said, application is down and without asking anything further, he cut my speech in between and said "thanks for calling airtel" and disconnected. Just imagine!! This shows the customer service from airtel. Trust me, i am regretting for using airtel. I see lot of my frenz happy with vodafone and i am planning to switch to it as well. If this continues, airtel will definitely lose its popularity. THIA IS RIDICULOUS!! And am really really annoyed with it. I have mentioned the details of my call in the above lines bcz I want a strict action to be taken against the person bcz he did not respect a customer. And I have heard these things being done to lot of other customers as well. Airtel, wake up. Now I do know how seriously is this complaint going to be taken bcz no problem of the customers are actually solved.
                                why my internet is very very slow and why i cannot download any video song software please solve my problem

                                  i connect gprs via this card 7 months. when i activate this gprs facility a lot of time i cannot access internet. because the VAIYAMPATTY AIRTEL TOWER have a lot of problem. i call & compliant customer care service, they say nothing problem with our side sir, your handset have this. but daily after 2.00am i access internet very fast & beauty.
                                  when i go out of the another tower of i.e. trichy city it works very fast &beauty.

                                  i tell customer care service a lot of time about this complaint they did not care about this.

                                  then often total network was dead. no signal. eg.[protected].00pm to 5.30pm.

                                  please help me.

                                    They are still lying inactive.

                                    I have written innumerable mails to you and you have not responded in an appropriate manner. I have contact customer care but they are not willing to help. And your airtel representative at Microsoft Campus (Mr. Damodhar. Ph.:[protected] is also not willing to respond or cooperate.

                                    And now they have the audacity to send me a bill on the number that was never activated.
