Dear Simi George:
Thank you for a wonderful automated type of reply. No pun intended. I am so sorry for the reason to be with Airtel, for these years and I am just waiting for the number portablity to happen.
As a Service delivery person you have not read my email transcripts properly, and I am at a receiving end because of your website not delivering the appropriate quality of service.
One of your officers again called up on Saturday, the 8th August 2009 around 130 PM and the reference number for this call is F[protected]. He had promised to set right the issue in 2 hours which is yet to come for your company.
An earlier instance for my other number, the payment was taken for 5 times in advance, by your website...And the company did not care to refund the amount. The justice has to be served right.
For one payment delay-that is not on my part, you have penalised and the respect has vanished for the customer...You call this customer service
And shame on your services...
Hope TRAI gives me a redressal. I am also filing a complaint in the local consumer forum for your service failures.
You treat customers who have been with you for long like this, I am sure Airtel has to bite dust.
Thanks and Regards for the shabby treatment.
Yours Sincerely,
Ramesh.R

Dear Sir:
I am very sorry to have availed your services and for being a dutiful subscriber.
Despite assurance by your officer, that the services of calls outgoing will not be cut, the doomsday happened.
I have been given calls from your call center for- having not paid bill status. When the customer is sighted by these telecom companies at large, is that when he /she does not pay...In this case it is the fault of the service provider for having given a faulty website design and further nuisance.
I called up your call center today evening, and was assigned the code F[protected]. I am going to the consumer court for having been denied the privileges your company has to render on payment. The transcript given below of the mails sent in by me and the reply given have been enclosed for your reference.
Regards,
Ramesh

Dear Sir:
My number[protected] was deactivated for payment dues today.
However I had made payments which was debited twice by my bankers on the 27th July 2009.Your website did not return its acknowledgment for the payment both times.
I had called up your call center and told them about this problem which they told me that the issue would be resolved.
I was put into great embarrassment by the deactivation and called up your call center and told them about the friendliness of your website and the impersonal answers given by your trained staff.
I have the following reference numbers from BOBcards: RN 0418 RM0443 for the amount of Rs.899 - each.
Thank you for a wonderful service
Regards
Ramesh

Airtel — false address Verification report
I dont remember exactly but it may be the 1st or 2nd of June 2009, when i went to the airtel outlet named mobile shoppee at Gandhi bazaar, Bangalore to get my prepaid connection migrated to postpaid. Everything was fine till then, i signed a form got a new sim which i was supposed to insert when the account was activated and an executive was to come to my office the next day to collect the docs and the money(Rs.500).The executive came, i gave him the papers he wanted and RS.500, i asked him for a receipt for which he phoned his office and they conveyed me that a receipt will be generated after the account was activated. Fine i believed them
The exec said that it would take at least 3 days for the migration, fine, after 4 days nothing happened so i went to their office and inquired and the reply i got was that the Sim provided to me was technically unfit so i had to be given a new one. When i asked why was i not informed till now and that too wen i have come down to the place, they had no answers. well fine that level of shoddy service we Indians have come to terms with our so called world class service providers.
New Sim New Day.
3 more days gone, surprise nothing happened(or is it a surprise???)
early morning went to their office was assured that it will happen that very day.
Again no surprises nothing happened.
Come afternoon i again visited their office, they said that a AV was done on my resi which i confirmed was done and my brother had met the guy and also i told them that i had recd a phone call frm the airtel off., regarding a visit to my business place, had given them the directions and the timing to come any time before 2:00 pm but had no visit.
They now said that they wanted a resi address proof, an executive came down to my office, i gave a signed photo copy of my Bank Pass book(which has a photo on it and is a PSU bank).
i tod the person that he will need the transaction parts too but he contacted his office and said that it was not necessary.
Again no prizes for guessing nothing happened.
I again went down to the centre and the reply i got was so shocking that it in my books it wud be termed as the joke of the century.
The mail they recd from the AV dept. was that a person had visited my office, met the front office executive and that he was refused to be provide with my details.
Now comes the joke part.
1. I am small time businessman( i run my own trading business and have no so called front office(though i wished i had one, so emphatically stressed upon by your exec.)
2.I had given the nearest land mark as Deluxe roadlines office( in your AV report it was mentioned as Deluxe bar, may be the thought process of the caller who took my details were somewhere else )
I told them clearly that no AV was done and nobody contacted me, so the guys at the shoppee told that ok give us one more day and we will see to it.
this was getting on my nerves now, how big or small a person may be but time is precious to all and sundry.
the next day they said that the report was that they tried to cantact me but the phone was not reachable, i told them that i was in the office the whole day, showed them the call register where i had received and called people from around India.
i gave them a final days time to rectify it or else return my money.
Yesterday evening they were still unable to do that, they said that the money cant be refunded before 40 days, i confronted them that how can that be when no receipt was generated and they had no answers
