from 543212 i am receving jokes every day & it is eating up my 1 Rs balance daily i had never asked to start any such service on my no it was forceful & if sms as STOP also still it is not responding now i am really FEDUP & DISAPPOINTED with airtel service AIRTEL IS REALLY BAKWAS.

    I have given request for reinstallation of Airtel digital TV at my new address in Bangalore.
    Each time I give a complaint a new complaint no is generated.
    Customer Code: [protected]
    Complaint Codes: 1144724,1155758
    Moreover after every call I am given a new appointment date & time

    . For the last three days( 2nd October to 4th October) I have been given atleast 10 different time slots.
    Neither is my request processed nor am i getting contact details of any authorised Airtel Service Engineer.

    This is simply harrassment by Airtel.

    ( Pl note that all payments regarding this connection IN ADVANCE has been made to AIRTEL).

    I got very bad service from airtel persons.I thought no one should go for it.
    My installation was supposed to be on 20th of oct. But Airtel didn't give me any call on my cell.They themselves kept on 23rd oct.They don't have any regrets about their service.
    Hi,

    I have the airtel digital tv activation kit and have requested for the istallation for the same on 7th september 2010. The installation date was finalised to september 11,2010 between 9-10 am. No body from airtel turned up at the time provided and when i called them they said that we will send somebody by 2'o clock . I again waited till 2 but no body turned up and when i called airtel customer care they said that the installation guy will come on sunday i.e 12th september.

    This is the first time i am using airtel digital tv and had so much problems for the installation . Will someone tell me if this is the usual scenario with airtel where the customer has to under go such harrassments . If this is the case then I shouldback off from using the digital TV.

He two hours Approx. to install the antennae. but he didnot knowhow to drill the wall and what put in the hole so that it may fix and he fix the antennae in a bamboo. AS he couldnot do the same he told me that he will come next day to fix the same When air blow, the signal strength vanish and I have to adjust again and again.. But he never come to fix the antennea. when contact to customer care service they gave me some complain number but no result has been found. it means customer careservice doesnot bother about the problem of customer. After that I have contacted to the dealer he told me he will send me one person to fix the same from 02.10.2010 to o8.10 2010 he never send any person person to fix the same .
    therfore i wolud like to lodge this complian against the airtel digital tv so that i may get proper result punish the inefficient person you have appointed.

    My complain is related of Airtel Digital TV. i am already inform date of 12.11.2010 that i m changed of my house a new address and i want to install of airtel dth a new address. but company is not provide any installation engineer a right time. and my dth is off from 12.11.2010 and balance is continue cut from 12.11.2010. so i want refund my balance of DTH.

    & want my airtel digital t.v to be relocated...but even aftr 15 days & more than 20 calls to customer care it doesn't i even talk to their technical heads ...but all in vain...
    even more they eating up my money rs 10 per day...
    & once it finished the calls for more else complaint couldn't be forwarded...
    i am so frustrated with airtel sevice ...that i alresdy throw up their sim card & looking for KABADIWALA to sell the dish ...

      As per information collected from AIRTEL site and outlet,when we purchase a new Airtel connection and recharge it with any amount,outgoing call rate 40p A2A and 65p A2other mob.implemented automatically without free of cost for 30days.After 30 days this plan will continue in lieu of deducting Rs.1.50 daily.
      However, according Airtel it is optional.If a consumer likes to stop deduction of Rs.1.50,he/she should send SMS UNSTARIFF to 121 and outgoing call rate will be Rs.1.00 in that case.
      I have sent e-mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com on 05/09/2009 and 28/09/2009 and SMS UNSTARIFF to121.NO satisfactory reply been received from their end.I have been insisted on recharging with new plan.I think nobody is there in Airtel to solve problems of consumer.I never experience such a treatment before.

        I am registering this complaint through mail after about 12 phonecalls over a fortnight. My problem is not rectified despite repeated requests.

        I keep getting Error 2 which says that the Card in the STB is not Artel Card!

        I complain, after 3 or 4 phone calls to ther Customer Care the connection works for an hour or two, and fails again. The whole cycle starts again - calls and so on.

        I am fed up and am rueing my decision to opt for Airtel!

        I am yet to see worse service than this!

          i'm a retailer..my plan was changed to lifetime..i reported this to my dealer, he said that in our area all retailer sim was changed to lifetime.and also he said that i report this problem to his superior..still after 1week my problem is not rectified.rectify my complaint as soon as possible..(ALL RETAILER SIM WAS CHANGED TO A- A 10P A-O 50P) but mine not changed...

          i'm a retailer..my plan was changed to lifetime..i reported this to my dealer, he said that in our area all retailer sim was changed to lifetime.and also he said that i report this problem to his superior..still after 3 months my problem is not rectified.rectify my complaint as soon as possible..(ALL RETAILER SIM WAS CHANGED TO A- A 10P A-O 50P) but mine not changed...
          i am retiiler and on my no richarge of 100 is not active deu to currently change plan i complate ur targate of monthly trgate of 1500 pls change my plan my no is [protected] nitin kirana

            I have activate for Star News services from Airtel by sending SMS as StarN to 53030
            I dont want this subscription now but Airtel company don't have any details for same but every time airtel is charging Rs.10 for same.Neither on internet or operator have any details for how to stop this service.Just messed up.

            Have you sent STOP to 121. By sending STOP to 121 from your Airtel number will tell you that which all services are activated on your number and the process to deactivation.

            This service helped me also. You must try it atleast once. Most important part... sending SMS to 121 is totally free.

              ive been begging airtel to give me a connection for the past 5months.
              the reason why they cant give me one is cuz they don't have those blue boxes in my locality.
              5 months back they said. it'l get done in 3 months.

              i went the airtel store nearby and their reason is "govt has not given permission to dig"
              one month back. AIRCEL dug the road for some cables.
              and let me remind you that aircel was launched in Ktaka some 3 months back?

              If you are an Airtel Representative, Please learn how to make a better excuse the next time a someone wants a connection!

              I requested for shifting my broadband connection 2 weeks back on 22nd may '08 and nothing has been done as yet, inspite of my regualar calls to the customer care of airtel. I want something should be done to make them more disciplined and professional because we are paying for the service.

              Airtel / Broadband — Non Activation of the service

              I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 10 days i had been trying to get the connection activated and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that it will be done the same day and apologies... If companies cannot take care basic update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!! God Bless Airtel!!
              i am waiting for past 4 years still no service in my area, it sucks
              I have applied for airtel broadband and it has not been installed for past 12 days, initially airtel told me that it is done in 6 days....it has been a very poor experience while chasing the order as every cyustomer care executive tells me something different.
              ikndly deactivate my airtel internet connection my connection number is 4632442
              I requested for shifting of BB on 2nd July and it was promised that the BB will be shifted withing 3 working days and I will receive a callback for furhter updates. After 3 days as I didnt received any calls/updates from Airtel I started chasing them .. Everytime there was a new agent asking the issue again and again and then promising me that the connection will be fixed on the next day. Supervisor Vishal, Syed Hussain, Agents Vivek Solanki, priya n lots of name.. till date there is no response/no services delivered.

              I got my Airtel Broadband connection 3 months back on the name of Kulvinder SIngh Mann with connection AIrtel Number [protected]. My landline phone is not working since 2 months, i had given complaint to all the authorities but no one is caring for this.

              Local incharge miss pavneet kaur, never respond for my query.

              I use Airtel services (Postpaid mobile and Broadband) for more than 2 years with out any issues. I recently moved from Jafferkhanpet to Madipakkam; requested Airtel to shift the Broadband connection to new address (Request no.[protected]. I got different answers from Customer care saying connection can be shifted in 3 working days, 15 days and 1 month??? really frustrated; finally I wrote to the Nodal officer but no use.

              I called the customer care again to check the status, the agent replied that the DB box at my location (Madipakkam, Chennai) is full so the connection can be shifted only by creating a new port or need to wait till some one cancels the connection. It will take atleast 1 month. I wonder how could a company advertise as No. 1 Private Telecom provider in the country with over 18 million customers in the world can't even provide Broadband connection to a Metro like Chennai ??

              I have an airtel broadband connection number with my landline number 45511120 which is operational since past 5 year but on the 17 apr 2012 the services were de-activated. I have been following up from pillar to post and have talked to Mr Ramashankar. - floor manager on 24 apr 2012 and also talked to their nodal officer and aplet department besides several tele executives.
              I have been given 6 different complaint numbers but all attempts are failing, the height is that nobody is able to provide the exact reason for the same.
              It has been highly frustrating and will approach the media and consumer court if the service are not activated.

              I was having intermittent connection problems for quite some time now.

              I raised a case : 18492728 on 11th of July. for which I was said that it would be fixed by 1: 30 pm the same day. With almost 20 calls to customer care I did not get a proper resolution to the problem till now.

              The only service that I am getting on a prompt basis from Airtel is the bill.

              Please consider this as a matter of importance as my work is getting affected and I am not able to avail work at home permitted by my company even if I am unwell.

                2.My Ourgoing calls were barred on 5th of July,2009 without any reasons.

                3. When I called up 121 it replied (answering machine said " no dues pending," Now I spoke to their call center rep. on 121 only, they confirmed that outgoing is barred due to non payments.Then I gave the proof of payments -which was paid online on 29/0609 of Rs1335.00 thru credit card and given the SMS recvd. on my Mobile from Airtel.ie.A/c No.14859242,Transaction Id-864374 dt29/06/09, 07:00:02 PM.

                4.I called up again and again for complain on 121, Now they confirmed the payments but showed their ignorance for the reasons of problem. They gave me some landline no. to lodge the complain but surprisingly that no. never worked. Then they gave me complain ref. no. 21737122. and many more nos. whenever I used to call them.

                5. Till date My complain was not attended. And my Outgoing were barred since 5th July,2009.

                6.Meanwhile I requested to disconnect the phone -thru login on the net on their site-they never responded rather called me for the payment.

                7. Now they kept sending the bills for the Phone which was not working- outgoing were barred since 5th July,2009.

                8. From July 20,2009 onwards they started giving calls for non-payments of bills,rather they started chasing me 5-6 calls a day.which was really harassing. It is still happening now and then.

                9. Till date they have sent one more bill for the next month.Without realising the issue they r unnecessary creating troubles for the customers who have been with them for last 7-8 years.( I have two more landline connections from Airtel and everything is working smooth,but now I am thinking of surrendering them too , its is really paining )

                10. So Anybody from Airtel is listening have some care for customer then respond with a sense of care.

                  I booked AirtelDTH thru online guided by vriti infocomon 25th July. Received a link to avail Holiday package for Goa. But the link says my Activation number is wrong. I tried to reach them by phone, mai. No response from Vriti Infocom till today.

                  When I contacted Airtel customercare, they distanced themselves that they are not responsible for this online trade.

                  How come, Aitel can allow such useless business ties with Cheaters. Beware of online cheaters.

                      Hi - I should have read the complaints registered in this forum before I went and purchased AIRTEL DTV. I've never seen such a pathetic and irresponsible customer service all throughout my life. I think if the company cannot provide a decent customer service, the govt. which gives license to operate should intervene and help the poor customers.

                      I am really disturbed by the servic, specially the call centre operations which Airtel has tied up with. It really sucks.I would'nt mind spending few thousdands more and get a descent service. I would like to spend some money and courier the to Sunil Mittal. I would also sincerely requests the brand ambassdors to stop promoting this product.

                      Airtel DTH — Airtel DTH Customer service is Pathetic

                      Hi,

                      I got this Airtel DTH connection free with LCD tv.
                      Its been a week now,everytime i call up customer service with customer id to setup installation,its a new request.
                      They say in 2 hrs i will get a call to schedule installation and no one turns up.
                      I give a call to them 3 times in a day and explain everything from beginning and status is still the same.
                      Untill now i hvent got Airtel DTH connection.Had heard about there pathetic service but experienced it now.
                      Please dont go with there service.

                      Airtel DTH — Pathetic Customer Service

                      I am having pathetic experience with Airtle DTH. My cable is down for last one month. I have been calling to their customer care every day,

                      1. They don’t even maintain a
                      log of previous conversation, so every time you need to explain the problem. I think, I must have spent at least 100 rupees on these calls.

                      2. Every time, they will open new ticket and close the old one so that their SLA is maintained and the ticket doesn’t show up in ageing report.

                      3. They also maintain a local number, where no one picks the phone.

                      4. Many times, my call was escalated to their supervisor. Every time they promised that problem will be fixed but nothing happened.

                      5. Few times, their technician also came to my house but they were unable to resolve the problem. One will say its antena problem and other will say its DVR problem but then problem remains unsolved. They never came prepared with all the things, so that it can be resolved. Poor technicians spent so much time without getting the results.

                      6. Today, when I told them to disconnect my service and refund the remaining money and price for DVR then they told , as per their records money has been refunded to me on 28th December 2010. Please check your credit card , which I did and there is nothing.

                      7. I am continiously getting call from [protected] their customer service but when I pick up the phone no one responds. I am sure, after sometime they will start saying the customer is not picking up the call.


                      Airtel is behaving like a cheater, who will take all the money up front and its your luck if you get no proble. If you are unlucky then they will never fix the problem and never return the money as well.

                      I am very dissatisfied customer. It is my appeal to all the readers, don’t get persuaded by the flashy Airtel advertisements and buy the service. Please try other providers. These guys are cheating people in very organized way.

                      This issue is still not resolved. Your team has certainly has come to my house to fix the problem but only half or the channels are working and recording facility is not working either.

                      Please fix it completely before marking prematurely resolved.

                        I ma a Airtel customer. my mobile no. is [protected]. I am very often receive SMS for job alerts from No.5432105. I had never ioted this service through Airtel or any other means for this job alerts SMS from this no.viz.5432105. I have sent so many SMS to customer care of Airtel requesting them to stop SMS from this no.5432105. even I have sent SMS to 5432105 also asking them not to send any job alert SMS and I am not need of it. due this SMS from 5432105 my balance is always debited by Rs.30/- per month. there is no convenient mode say e-mail address or complaint receiving web of Airtel. My request is I should not receive any SMS from no.5432105 else I will discontinue the AIRTEL

                          I WAS USING AIRTEL SIM CARD FOR MORE THEN TWO YEARS.SUDENLY I GOT PHONE AND SMS FROM THE COMPANY THAT YOUR DOCUMENT ARE NOT WITH US AND IWAS ODERED TO SUBMIT IN TWO DAYS.MY MOBILE IS DEAD FROM 16 TH OF SEPTEMBER I SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS STILL PHONE IS DEAD.I HAVE CONTACED AT CUSTOMER CARE AS WELLAS HEAD OFFICE WITH NO RESULTMY NO IS [protected] [protected]
                          Sir, my mobile no. is [protected] and i am using said no. since last 6-7 years without any problem. Around 20 days before i received a call from your call centre for submition of re-veryfication form, so, i submited re-veryfication form with your Anakapalle office named M/S MANI AGENCIES on 13-08-10 alongwith required documents and also informed your call centre on same day about submission of re-veryfication form, you can confirm it from call log book of 13-08-10.

                          Today on 29-08-10, when i want to make a very important business call then i came to know that you had debarred my mobile no. for all incoming and outgoing calls without any reason and information.This situation is very torturous and harrassing for me, so, activate my no. as soon as possible and give me proper reason for debarring of my no.

                            My mobile number [protected] got registered under NDNC category vide reference number S[protected],dt.25.01.2009 and has been confirmed by AIRTEL, Chennai. Even after completion of 9 months from the date of registration under NDNC, still I am receiving 'unwanted calls and messages'. And also, I am surprised that my mobile number [protected] is showing as 'NOT AN ACTIVE DND NUMBER' on NDNC registry of TRAI website.

                            When I wrote mail to TRAI, I am instructed to approach Service Provider (AIRTEL). Accordingly, I sent emails to [protected]@airtel.in and [protected]@airtel.in ONE MONTH back apart from verbal complaint through Airtel Customer Care.

                            My complaint has not been resolved so far.

                              i am facing majour trouble with my airtel co-ordinator . As i have taken a corporate postpaid connection , airtel shops don't help me and customer care allways says that they don't have this data . SO i want to know what do i do .
                              My airtel co-ordinator Mr. Rakesh Johri , has turned out to be a big time useless guy . He took 1000 bucks from me and activated my card in 25 days . He told me some diff calll rates and when i asked at customer care , my rates were diff . till now my CUG hasn't been activated .
                              I am in a bug mess as what to do .

                                I m Dheeraj from Etawah, (UP,west). I would like to bring to your notice that AIRTEL network is very very poor in the area of Bahera, Mahewa,Etawah (UP,west)The caller’s voice is not clear on the mobile and in between call gets disconnected by itself.and mostly time it is in off line mode. Please look into this matter very soon and do the needful asap else we may have to switch to some other network which gives better connectivity than AIRTEL.

                                  I had switched from my prepaid service to post paid airtel sevice
                                  My local calls are activated but my STD calls are barred despite contacting the custemor care executive I have received vague answer I can not being touch with my clients as I am on roaming service these send wrong message towards my clients and create bad impression about me in clients mind

                                  Bharti Airtel Postpaid — Their servers are always being upgraded

                                  I have an airtel connection which i would like to terminate, since i'm leaving abroad. But because of their servers being upgraded everyday, or rather whenever i call them asking for termination, i have not been able to terminate this. It's been days now. and the rental has been increasing. Isn't this heights of server upgradation? that too daily? it's been 5 days and i've called them several times asking them to connect me to the department responsible for disconnection of service. But server upgradation has been going on. great! i wonder when the server will be up and running.
                                  Your Airtel postpaid connection is very very warest, compared to other mobile services and one more thing your verification excutive are very lezy fellows they dont know how to talk with the costumers. If it happens like this every body wants to cancel your connection. advice airtel to concentrate of their customers rather than making fools the cusromers.

                                  Bharti Airtel Postpaid — Billing

                                  My name is B. M. Khan. I am using Postpaid connection of Bharti Cellular (Airtel) since years now. I have two problems with the company.
                                  1) Bill Amount is raising every month. When asked for an itemized detailed statement, the customer service executive keeps on transferring and keeping me wait. And ultimately, l landed no where and disconnected the call. Tried many times but same response.
                                  2) In these few months, I have noticed this new trick of the company. They are sending the bill just 2 - 3 days before due date and if not paid in 2 - 3 days, then you have to pay the late payment penalty amount extra. Since months, it is happening with me. Last time, I shouted at the Airtel Relationship Centre and they took the payment only for the billing amount and not the penalty charges. But in this month's bill, apart from my billing amount, it is showing previous amount pending and under that, it is showing Late Payment Penalty charges for previous bill. I am really frustrated with this cheap act. Please help me by taking some strict actions against them.

                                  Bharti Airtel — Cancellation of SIM

                                  I purchased an Airtel life time SIM (Mobile no. [protected]) on 09th June 2011 for my wife Mrs. Tripti Joshi FROM Koparkhairane Navi Mumbai. We submitted all documents same day and photographs after 3 days. SIM was working well and we recharged it with Rs. 205 along with a call option plan of Rs 27. All was fine, suddenly few days back (19th June 2011), it stopped working. I went to Airtel service center and got to know after calling 999 from Landline that this number is being cancelled. I talked to Airtel executives and they told me that number is cancelled based on verification call. We never received any call as far as I can remember. I guess, we should have received at least one call before number is being cancelled. The executive admitted that call was not made and still number was cancilled. I was given the nodal officer's number and I wrote as follows -
                                  Please let us know the path forward. I want to keep the same number for my wife as she has already distributed the number to the acquaintances and I don’t want to keep a post paid scheme as prepaid is fine with me. There is a balance of Rs 215/ in the mobile number which has been canalled.

                                  Please let me know –
                                  (i) Transcripts of the verification call if it has happened
                                  (ii) Help me restart the same number. I don’t want to pay for another SIM. You will agree that it does not make sense for me to buy another SIM for 100/ to save my 215/ (balance amount on number) and moreover I want same number for my wife Tripti Joshi.

                                  I purchased this SIM as lifetime number for my wife and what an irony it stops functioning just after 10 days.

                                  No reply for last so many days. Again I went to Airtel center at Vashi Navi Mumbai and there was no solution and behaviour of executives were not in great taste as I have done a mistake by buying their prodcut despite so many choices in the market. Still Rs. 215 plus SIM coast of Rs. 100 is balance in that number besides the harrassment and cancillation of comittments made by my wife in that number which does not exists anymore.
                                  I am working professional and can't afford to give time to all this non sense which although I have done my best (visiting 2 times in person and 2 times mail them the problem with no solutuion.)
                                  I want to retain the number and balance amount in my SIM.

                                    I hold a post-paid airtel connection and is active for the past 5 years now.
                                    Recently I have shifted my house and in that connection wanted to change my mailing address.

                                    I have been calling up the customer care executives and every time they give a new information.

                                    I told them that my citibank statement which contains the new mailing address is the proof of submission. And they agreed to it.

                                    I took my airtel connection from Vijayanagar aritel office, and as I stay quiet close to that area, I decided to get it changed in that outlet. Hence when I went all the way from Marathahalli( where I work) to Vijayanagar that lady told me that the bank statement will not act as a proof. Why are the executives giving misleading information.When contacted again (121) that executive told me that a nationalised statement is accepted. Later another executive told me that the address on the Company letter head ( that I work) is okay to be submitted as a proof.

                                    I had decided to go today and when i contacted the aritel office rajaijanagar 6th block over the phone, to check if they accept the letter head as the proof, she sang another song... she said this will not suffice.

                                    The verification for a mobile connection is already done when I got one, now i am asking for change in the mailing address and not a new phone connection. Please understand my point.

                                    My name is Pandidurai from tamilnadu.but now iam studying alliance university bangalore.iam using airtel for many years.i did my graduation BE in tamilnadu during that time my airtel number is "[protected]".really i enjoyed very much tower capability, offers, full taltime topup, etc etc of airtel.now iam doing my MBA in bangalore.i have experience about airtel in tamilnadu so in bangalore also i got new airtel sim and my mobile number is "[protected]" (In our alliance university itself we have departmental store so here itself we purchased the sim but that time no airtel sim. i waited for three days to get my airtel sim).

                                    Problems

                                    1.Customer care is very very very poor.

                                    2.People in customer care was not responding properly.

                                    3.Unknowingly balance reducing.

                                    Conclusion:

                                    Iam going to change my network .ie(airtel to vodafone)

                                    I am the above who was using your prepaid service for the past few year [ [protected] ], few days back

                                    had unexpected misuse of my service. It was found messages were sent without my knowledge. When contacted

                                    airtel customer care on 24th may 2011, i was adviced to remove the sim and distroy the same. Therefore I wish

                                    to cancel with immediate effect this no and kindly do the needful.



                                    Also when contacted customer care, i was informed Add on facility to the above mentioned no has been activated.

                                    I have never added any no and i wish to know the add on no related to this no.



                                    Kindly De-activate this no with immediate effect.
