I am customer Airtel But i am very sad to buy airtel sim card. I have bought before 2 month. My mobile no. is [protected] & [protected] and balace is moer than 300 & 400. I called every where to my friend but after one hour my mobile barred (incoming & outgoing are closed) when i complain airtel customer and ZSM Sunil Grover(Patna) they said to me that your address proof didn't submit in main airtel office so your line disconnected when as i have submitted already my documents to retailer shop. Now I am harassment in this time I have submitted again never the less my service is disconnected. I am working in NPSP- WHO and given office address they told that address is not valid.

I recharged my Airtel prepaid connection [[protected]] Rs. 495 lifetime recharge on 07.01.2008. I was told to recharge it by atleast Rs.200 every 6 months as per conditions. After recharging for the first six months, I got a msg from Airtel to recharge by atleast Rs. 90 (in the 8th month) which is against the conditions. Even then I got my cell recharged with said amount of Rs 90. But to the height of non-sense, my no.'s registration got failed after 6-7 days of recharging. I feel like being robbed by Airtel :'(

Airtel is not the only one, with poor service.

Idea Cellular service, are very unfriendly. And so was the customer service professionals. I know for sure my friend had to wait for 4-5 days for sim to activate, with proper documentation. the franchisee office was co-operative but, the people in customer service at Idea were like bunch of jokers.

So, Airtel is not the only one, who has bad service it is wth every single telecom operator.

I guess how come they become best service award winners with this kind of customer service or businessman of the year award for bhatri's.

This is because of the lobbying correctly. Nothing really in the company.

Hi,

My mobile has been stolen no. [protected] with IMEI no.[protected]. When I went to Airtel, they blcoked the Simcard but said that for blocking the phone using IMEI, I have to go to Sony Erricson. After doing some research on internet, I have found out that it is service provider and not manufacturer who needs to block the phone.
Please help.

I am an Vodafone prepaid customer, Noweverdays I find to know that There is a prepaid airtel connection in my name and address
this was actually happened with out my permission and I have no idea about the airtel customer.

this was preplant to misuse my name and address

Since 3 years .i am an airtel customer. i got that connection with a herohonda bike before 3 years.I missed my airtel sim before one year, because of some reasons, i cant take the duplicate sim. But I recharged the same missed sim for one year! but now i want that sim urgently.When I approach airtel office., they are saying that they cant take duplicate because the company will delete & re-issue the number when no response is not from the customer for 3 months! So what is the value for my money! The another problem is when i show the id proof., they are saying that sim was not in my id & it is in the name of an another person from another district! I am sure that this is due to the carelessness of your verifying team. the sim card is not being used by any other person till now. It is clear that the sim card is not being used by an other customer, so please re issue the sim for me! you can verify with the sim card owners id & clear that the sim was not being used by him! I am ready to take all the legal forwardings as soon as possible !unless you re-issue my sim card! I have the full evidences including the sim cards cover!

Airtel Sim — deactivate love pack

I am very frusturated by the Air Tel service since last three months. My cell number is [protected] and since last three months customer care centre activated a love pack without my concern and frequently charging 5 rs for 5 days.

i am very sorry to say that this is my second complain regarding same problem. I complain same 1 week before but no action taken by airtel.

    I have taken airtel demo from prakash (crpf dealer) on 6th september 08, he had activated my demo sim and told me to take the Mpin no from custumer care, then i talk to customer care he told me i will get my mpin no with in 10 min but on continious talk he told me an error was displaying while sending mpin no he told your no has not been regestered for demo. Then i talk to dealer then after 8 days he had given me another demo. Now again the customer care is telling the same problem. Till now i had not got my Mpin no.

      I had purchase a sim card which is launch by Airtel company as a Goverment schem, that those who are Goverment servent they only get this card and in this the schems was Airtel to Airtel 10. paise, Airtel to Others 30. paise, but after few year(1 1/2 ) years, they change the plan becoz of some reason. But there are customer who are using this card there call rate is same as it was and my call rate has change .
      When i call at customer care they said not only your call rate change all customer those who are using this card it will change it is in process, but there are my friends using this plan before me and now also they are using no changes has done in there call rates 2 years pass. But till date they have not taken any step to give Equal call rate to every customer. Even though i am using this card, call rates is airtel to airtel 25 paise, airtel to other 50 paise . But i want to know why they have not change this plan for all customer who are using this goverment plan why only few customer of this plan has to pay this much.
      I want compensation for this .

      Airtel — Call Rates not Changed

      Hi ,

      I was applying for the mobile number portability (MNP) and sent the message for the same to AIRTEL .After a couple of days I got a call from the airtel customer care executive that my call rates will be reduced to 10 paisa for airtel to airtel and 30 paisa for airtel to others if I continue with airtel and these new call rates would apply from the next week.But it has been 2-3 weeks it hasn't been changed and every week i get a similar call saying that next week your new data rates will be applied .

        hi i am customer in airtel more than two year.first airtel sevice provider is very nice after that they frequently change the plan such as in begining add-on card call rate is 10 paise after 6 months 20 paise now call rate is 30 paise. but other service provider continue the same 10 paise(vodafone).airtel is very large telecom service provider in india and abroad also, so airtel should consider in this case.then booster back also airtel changed, now they gave up the 65 and 69 booster back...what is happening i cant understand first they(airtel) give all the good planes after some more days they gave up the schemes...in this situation going contiously definatly airtel loss hudge amount of customer its true so airtel take necessary step...

            Although, I do not know if my grievance will be sorted out, please note down my complaint:-

            I got my prepaid mobile phone no. [protected] charged with Rs.100/- on the 17th of September 2008 at 07:58 PM with a transID 27979662.

            After recharging I received a conformation from eRecharge but, my phone has not been credited with Rs.87/-.

            I have been desperately trying to get in touch with Customer care department, but am feeling harassed, since I am not being able to connect through to a pre-paid customer care executive.

              I am Rajesh Vaidya holding Airtel prepaid connection number [protected]. My problem is stated below:

              - I activated GPRS service on 30th Aug, 2008
              - I deactivate GPRS service on 31st Aug, 2008 after 24 hrs of the time of activation
              - The amount of RS 29.98 should have been deducted.
              - Instead 89.94 was deducted. So I should get a refund of 59.96 Rs.
              - Moreover on 14th Sep, 2008 again 29.98 Rs were deducted against VAS download. Please note that there was no such download done from the number nor any activation request for sent for any type of service.
              - On 15th Sep, 2008 also there was a deduction of 14.99 Rs against VAS download for no reason.
              - I had called numerous times to Airtel Customer care and did not got proper response. Some said that the refund will happen in 2 hours while some did not respond to my query.
              - I am mentally harassed a lot and placing a humble request to refund the amount of Rs 104.93 as soon as possible.
              - The customer care professional informs me that the GPRS service has not been deactivate since 20 Aug, 2008. Then my question is why the 14.99 Rs did not got deducted on every day after that?

              In total I want Rs 104.93 refund in my prepaid no [protected]

                I was working in Freescale Semiconductor India Pvt Ltd. in Noida around one year before. I had taken airtel mobile connection with number [protected]. I payed the remaining mobile bill at the time of leaving Noida and came to Hyderabad. I had requested to cancel my mobile bill at Hyderabad Airtel office. But even after that, some gundas from Delhi keep calling me and threatening me that, they have filed case against me in Delhi court and I have to pay 9000/- as a penulty. I am very sick of all these things. Please take appropriate action against it.

                I am Shyam having mobile no. [protected] from airtel. From last six months they are adding 3G rental.to my bill.
                When this happened for the first time I told them that the phone I use i.e nokia 1200 doesn't support GPRS&their is some mistake at your end.After some more efforts they deducted the charges & apologized this will not be repeated.But to my shock,same thing was repeated & has been repeating till date, every month they call me hundred of times I have to repeat the same thing to every one, but the problem is not coming to an end.
                Know I feel tired & harassed.I never expected this from Airtel.

[protected], I cleared my all dues at 9 September 2008 and asking at Airtel Showroom to convert my Number from Post Paid to Pre-Paid, I submitted my all documents to them and sign the form, They told me that with in 72 hours your number will be converted into pre-paid. After 2 days ago i call in Airtel Customer Care and told them my problem, They also give me 72 hours extra time to convert the number from Post Paid to Pre-paid, after 144 hours my number has not been converted into pre-paid, when i call in customer care postpaid they told me to call in customer care pre-paid, till now this is happening, they could not resolve that, today is 18 September 2008 till now my Mobile No. is not activated.

                    I learnt from your executive that a duplicate sim card has been issued against above number, he was not able to extend any help beyond that information nor was ready to give me any number or address to enable me to lodge a proper compain. He did not lodge a compain and simply gave me a reference no of call. Tele recorded voice on your customer care no [protected] everytime says that our call is being recorded, if it is true please check back how many times I made a call during above period? And your customer care executive never bothered to call back and check the grivances.
                    Kindly be informed that original sim card is available with me. I have not applied for any duplicate sim card. Please restore my connection on my original sim card. Please also enquire how duplicate sim card has been issued against my above Cell no without proper verification as it may be misused by some miscreants

                    I had a similar experience with Airtel. their customer service is pathetic. been trying to call them for hours when I myself encountered the same issue. Can't Airtel properly scrutinize a fraudulent SIM card request or even check whether the SIM is active and/or in use and call the number to confirm when taking a duplicate SIM card request ? How much of brains does it take to do this ?

                              i am having a an airtel postpaid connection @499 plan. and i activated a buddy number for 99/month i.e i will b charged 5 paise for a call for local airtel number. but for last two months (July and august). this firm has charged 50 paise per a cal. and it is around 3500 Rs..so i approached them with this details and i dint get any proper response from them. so i am finding for a proper and reasonable justice.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I have an airtel connection in the name of Ms. Shipra bhati. ([protected]). Ever since I have taken this connection I have been facing constant billing related problems, about which I wrote a strong complaint earlier too and which was sadly not considered. Now, I have been using this number while travelling frequently and the bills which I had been paying were paid online and the bills could not be viewed.

                              I had earlier activated a one rupee per STD call package and was billed with the same tariff for a few months too. Some days back, to my utter surprise, I received a call from a customer care executive who told me that this package was not activated on my number and that I should get it done now. I immediately called the executives on the numbers (given at the end) and told them about this problem. I was told that the problem would be resolved and that the previous bills will also be settled. Now that I received the bill for this month, I find that not only I am being charged Rs. 1.50 per STD call but also have been charged late fee for God knows what !!!

                              I have checked my previous bills an dthey have been charged on the same tariff. What should I do ???????

                              this is l.manoj having a postpaid no [protected]. i used to be previous employee for airtel prepaid.For the no which i had mentioned above outgoing is barred on 15 may saying my bill of amt rs 633 is due, which i had paid on 25april an amt of rs600.from 1 week i am calling the customer care and even visited ARC in vizag for TWO times.they are saying that we cannot view ur details in our systems which is the same answer from 1 week.so whom should i contact other than customer care or airtel office?even i am about to receive this month bill of rs 385 with last date on 25may withoutfine.I believe that u people would look into my problem and solve it before 24may so that u can expect me to pay this month bill.please note that if this problem is solved after due date i am not going to pay my bill with fine.

                                  Hello,
                                  Me, Pooja Gupta with connection No. "[protected]". It has been observed that messages are not delivered to other numbers from last week. In sent items it shows that message has been delivered, but actuaaly it doesn't reach to destination No. Even the balance get deducted. The reason is not understandable.

                                  It is therefore requested that the problem may please be looked upon and short out the same immediately.

                                  I would strongly agree to this. I having the sxact same problem with multiple airtel prepaid connections from kolkata trying to send to Germany. Phone calls go wihtout problem and i can receive sms from the number without problem.

                                  On sending the sms it mentioned message delivered and Rs 5.00 is deducted from the balance but sms is never sent.

                                    During 2005, I have taken Lifetime prepaid card ([protected]) at the cost of Rs.1100/-, again paid 250 Rs. on 6/10/2007 towards get 1Rs/min for all local call. After the month all Lifetime prepaid customer get above facility without paying aforesaid cost. Ok, it is marketing. However, even though I paid that much. They are deducting tax of 22% while currency recharge. This tax rate (12%) varies with other Lifetime prepaid customer ([protected], [protected] [protected]). It shows their negligence towards old Lifetime prepaid customer.

                                      I have been an airtel user for 5 months. I previously had used airtel from[protected]. But from the last 3 weeks, every time I try to make any call, the network goes to ZERO. Whenever I call customer care, they keep me on hold for 15-20 minutes saying that they are transferring the call to a certain supervisor.

                                      I would be obliged if this matter is looked into. As I have been making calls and continuously losing balance, but I haven't had a proper conversation with anyone.

                                      I do not ask for a refund. What I ask is that this network problem be solved immediately.

                                      i am a user of airtel prepaid since 2002, i had never been to such serious issue which i am facing now a days. i reside in CIT nagar, saidapet in CHENNAI, i am an employee of accenture and my office timings are in evening, for my cab pick (call from Cab Driver) i have to keep my mobile rite on to the top of the window in my house to get network. or i have to stand before 10-20 mins on street awaiting for my call. if this is the case i have to change the provider, i beleive someone somewhere will help me in this regards. i dont wanna loose this number as i have many contacts.thanks'

                                        i m holding a postpaid connection bearing no. [protected], [protected] & [protected] for which since i was not satisfied i had paid the outstanding due for the above no.s and returned the sim requesting cancellation. the airtel person reported that these connections were cancelled.
                                        but for the past 2 months, but inspite of my repeated complints to the concerned departments, i am receiving bills for those 3 connections.
                                        since i ve not used the connections which is very well reflected in your bills, i would like you to reverse those dues n cancel the connection
