[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Regarding document submission

Hi,

I took a Airtel pre-paid connection 40 days back and it was activated the day 2nd. But from past 2 weeks my connection has been disconnected stating that I have not submitted my documents. However I already submitted the complete documents on day one to the respective shop and when enquired by the dealer, I got to know that it has been submitted on 3-July-2010 and serial No is 18.when I called customer care, they said we have not received the documents.

I don’t know what is going on? why after 1 month they have disconnected by connection. When I gave the documents to the shop owner, then only he activated the Sim. This is totally cheating.

i kindly request you to take immediate action against those airtel people. At any cost I will not re-submit the documents again as I have given the documents with signature and photo.

This happened with me too...they take up this issue after months...very useless guys...no coordinations between airtel outlets and their head office...its just waste of time waiting for these ...already they have lost lots of customers because of this...I am going to discontinue their connection and going for some other operators soon
I had the same problem. After 2 months of fight i said goodbye to airtel forever. They will ask to resubmit documents everymonth and will disconnect the outgoing. Even if you resubmit the documents, nothing is going to happen. Be careful as you are giving valid proofs to some one who can misuse it.

Airtel — DOCUMENTS SUBMISSION

Dear Sir,

Number of times I submitted my documents, but still there is a call and mesaage from your company, that submission of documents at nearest eseva or post office, i have submitted my details recently at AIRTEL CUSTOMER RELATION CENTRE AT AMEERPET.

The employee at that office took the details and she said that the updation of the profile will be done soon.

but still iam receiving a call that i need to submit the documents again.

I am having Airtel prepaid number [protected] for the past two and a half years. I had submitted all proper documents at that time. I even got a call after few days to confirm about my documents. Today they have barred all outgoing calls without my knowledge and without any intimation. Kindly restore outgoing call facility.

I am a airtel customer. Recently i am getting messages like "Resubmit the documents for ID proof. Otherwise the network will be disconnected".
I am using this number from last 6 years and i have submitted the documents in the begining. Again why they are asking for documents.
And now for all the incoming calls the number is coming as "Un known" I am not able to see who is calling until i attend the call.
Why Airtel is doing like this.? All of a sudden why you need the documents now?
I[censored] want to submit the docs tell the exact address like where i can submit. and what needs to be submitted.
I am very much irritated by this Airtel service for not shwoing the numbers while receiving....

After 4 years i[censored]sage airtel is asking me to resubmit the documents. i have given all the required documents and cross signed Photograph at the time of taking the Sim card 4 years back.
My Number is [protected] and unfortunately i lost my phone and SIM card on Friday (3rd December 2010).When i asked at the Sector 18, Noida, Airtel customer service center for Duplicate SIM, they informed me that the number does not belong to any one as their system is not showing any name against the number([protected]).
now from Friday i do not have my number with me.
On Saturday morning(4th December 2010) i have resubmitted the Address proof, ID card, Photograph (which i should not because i have already provided them the same at the time of purchasing the SIM in 2006) to push the process of taking the duplicate SIM card, but when i am visiting the Sector-18(atta Market) Airtel center they are not issuing me the Duplicate SIM card due to documents submitting(ideally which i did couple of times now)
Please let me know if you can make this process faster so that i can take the duplicate SIM and continue using AIRTEL.

AirTel — Document Submission

I am unable to submitt the documents as i am using my friend's number and currently he is not in my touch , so pls provide me information if i can submitt the documents of mine or any other way pls.Otherwise i have to loss my number which is very hectic for me.

[protected] I am Sirisha and have submitted all documents along with application for prepaid number way back in 2007 when I was in Chennai. now that I have moved to Hyderabad my brother is using the no. He is getting calls to submit the documents. Do I have to submit my docs or is is alright for my brother to submit his docs. Why are we asked to submit the docs again now? Yes. Myself also one of the person cheated by this Airtel and it's one of the distributor.
Here is the reason,
I recently purchased a SIM card in Indra nagar by submitting relevent documents and a photo.
It was activated after a day and it was going fine. After a week of time I got a message saying my documents were not submitted and the outgoing calls is going to be deactivated. It was totaly confusing me. After that my out going calls were disconnected. I contacted customer care and they were asking to submit the documents again. I had submitted my documents last week again to another dealor but till now the the connection is in the same state. It is quite disappointing. Now total SIM has been de-activated. I couldn't contact customer care also.

Poor customer service and lack of distributors co-ordination.

Hope this is the reason why lot of people are migrating to other operators.
