They(Customer care executive)(all great ) will not do any thing. Always give you wrong way to stop, and wrong information to unsubscribe any services.. Sometimes without informing you they activated those services... Whatever you can try this... To unsubscribe, SMS UNSUB < Service code > to 54321 eg . UNSUB News to 54321.

    Yesterday a girl named Swati called from "Apollo health insurance" company to my colleagues asking about me, that girl called on 7 of my people whose name and number was present in my SIM card memory of my phone and when I asked that girl from where did she received these numbers, she told me that we got this list from airtel.How can Airtel give my contact list to other companies without informing me, the number from which I received the call was "[protected]"
    Kindly take serious action against AIRTEL for distributing my numbers to other companies.

      Sir,
      I the above mentioned Mrs. Meena R. Murthy had given a communication on 16.10.2008 for cancellation of my mobile Sim No.[protected] and the same had been approved alongwith the confirmation that the amount to my credit would be received by me in short notice of 45 days. But once again I have received a bill for the same number which I have already surrendered.So please look into the matter and clear the pending bill immediately.

        I had posted the complaint yesterday. But when i called the customer care and told about this they said they would reimburse the amt and today morning i got it credited back into my account..Thanks if any process has been made for my complaint...

        Dear Sir, Time and again, I have received a msg from 64611015 that "You've been renewed for (Fusion Lounge, Animation) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You've been charged Rs 15. http://m.igfun.com " . This is inspite of the fact that I, a senior Citizen, have NEVER subscribed to any such service. This is an unnecessary deduction from my account. My cell no. is [protected], i reside in Pune. Request you to kindly help. I have complained to Airtel Customer Care to cancel this. they assure me that it is done, sometimes they refund the amount - BUT THIS MESSAGE NEVER STOPS, DEDUCTIONS CONTINUE.
        Today after exactly 15 days, I have received a message from 55678 "You are our Fusion Club Member" My cell no. is [protected]. I have informed their customer Care time and again, that I am a retired Sr. Citizen and NOT a member of any services. Yet this HARRASMENT continues. REQUEST YOU TO HELP IN GETTING THIS FUSION NONSENSE CANCELLED ONCE AND FOR ALL.

        Airtel - Fusion Lounge / Games — Unecessary Subscription Chares

        I'm getting charged for some unknown service called Fusion Lounge / Games, so far i've charged 15rs toward this and do not remember subscribing for any such service, once i had the advertise of this on aritel live homepage on my handset but it was mentioned as this service is free service and i browsed the entire page and there wasnt a signle section where they had mentioed that there is cost for it or there will be a cost for it in future. I'm not really very happy to pay for something I'm not aware of. Could you please look into this matter and get the service deactivated at the earliest from my cell number [protected] (MH). There is point in talking to the airtel customer service as the agents out there are not aware of thier own service and procedures.

        Dear Sir/ Madam,

        I have received messages from 64611015 around 8 or 9 times (out of these 5 messages are still saved in my inbox); that 'You have been renewed for (Fusion Lounge, Animation) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You have been charged Rs 15.'
        I want to make it clear that I had never subscribed this service. Please deactivate my subscription on this no. [protected] and please check my account and reverse the charges illegally deducted from my account.
        My phone is not connected to Customer care. Whenever I try to make a complaint my phone failed to connect to your Customer care executive. How can it be solve. I am really very disappointed by Airtel Customer Care Service. If the illegal deduction will not be refunded in next few days, then I will file a complaint in Consumer Forum and also go to media.

          I Deepak kumar an airtel prepaid customer with number: [protected] have submitted my document twice at AIRTEL RELATIONSHIP CENTRE, PASHAN, PUNE to Mr. Rahul Chaudhary(customer care executive). my connection has been deleted without informing me. my balance was there and my connection was for lifetime. Mr. Rahul said that they are not responsible for this matter.

          Kindly look into the matter and contact me at [protected], as soon as possible.

              Dear Sir,
              Myself is Indranil Mukhopadhyay, staying in Chennai with my family for the past one year. My wife is having a hutch connection, and she is continuously getting blank calls from a number [protected]. We suspect it is some Airtel Kolkata number. I tried calling the person from my mobile, but he picks up the phone and after a while just disconnects it. Please help me out with this. It is totally destroying the peace of mind for the entire family, as he is giving calls at odd times as well. Today he called at around 6:00 AM in the morning, and I need this to stop. Would expect a response from you at an earliest.

                  I bought the Airtel Datacard on 14/4/2008 bearing number [protected] and SIMnumber[protected]. Initialy it took nearly a month to start its operation. Thereafter I hard used for nearly one and a half month that it started giving trouble.
                  I made a formal complaint with their Customer Care Centre on 12 July 2008 which was attended by Ms Simran. Later on 17 July 2008 I discussed the matter with Mr Kulwant Singh and later with Mr Tarun Tewari and Mr Aashish. It 4.57 PM the Data card started functioning, BUT, in the evening once again it start giving trouble and it was connecting with the remote computer. I called on again on 17 July 2008 at 10.32 pm, which was attended by Mr Mohan Tripathi, who informed me that the fault is at their end, and there is some problem with wireless connection due to congestion and also some mismatch with the wireless system. Mr Mohan assured me that he will contact with wireless department, and the data card would be made effective within half an hour. It started the next day.

                  Later in August it again started giving trouble and became unfunctional. I called on on 6 Aug 2008 at 1000 pm, which was attended by Mr Ranjan, and I was informed that the Number (Service) is barred. Since then, I am trying here and there, but of no use.

                  It will not be out of context to mention here that ever since I purchased the Datacard, no bill has been forwarded to me for payment. In spite of my regular request to the agent who supplied me the Datacard, no bill has been issued to me. Virtually, I did not used it to its true value.

                  MAY I SINCERELY REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL TO MAKE THE DATACARD FUNCTIONAL.

                    Now facing different problem in my Sim card(AirTel Card)...
                    last week i was lost my mobile and with Pre paid Sim so i get the duplicate number from Airtel(Chennai Provider)... after activation insert the card to my mobile(Nokia 6233 or Nokia 1108) its shows display for my mobile "SIM CARD UPDATE STARTED" ... after the Msg Signal is disconnected after 10 or 15 mins take for signal...

                    Pls help me wat we Do...

                    Now facing different problem in my Sim card(AirTel Card)...
                    last week i was lost my mobile so i get the duplicate number from Airtel... after activation insert the card to my mobile(Nokia 6233 or Nokia 1108) its shows display for my mobile "SIM CARD UPDATE STARTED" ... after the Msg Signal is disconnected after 10 or 15 mins take for signal...

                    Yes even i have the same problem.. and more over the sim works with less problem in low end models like nokia1100. but updation will have more frequently in high end mobile like sonyw580 model

                    I have an Airtel SIM with International roaming setup. It worked well when I was in India for both incoming and outgoing SMS to the US, and the name on the telephone showed Airtel the service provider. In the US it shows no service provider and SMS can neither be sent or received, even though people sending SMS from India shows that the message was sent on their mobile but not received on mine. My telephone is Nokia cell phone model 6233, and as such has no telephone setting ability or any other ability, of more recent cell phones. What is the solution to this problem. Please help

                      I m using[protected] number in tajura which is situated in South Africa, My number is not working here due to low balance but i m not sure, while i told in india to rehcarge my a/c but its not recharging due number has been used at international roaming so can you suggest me how can i recharge my a/c while using international roaming and can you tell wats the reason why my number is not working at IR??

                        I have never used WAP service on my Mobile.. But from the last three days getting similar message.

This has been coming to me every now and then. I tried to call Airtel Customer Care "AGAIN" today at Mar 27 12:48 pm IST and could not get through either of 123 and 121. Feel this is intentionally being done by Airtel. Can someone say how to get this to TRAI ?

                          I recently disconnected my Chennai AirTel post paid connection since I was moving to Pune for a new job. Now my friends are getting calls from AirTel agents saying that I havent paid the bills. And they are talking as if they know everything about my friends and me. They are even enquring about things that we spoke on the phone. Do they really records all the calls ? Its in justice.
                          People confirm this and think whether if you want to continue using AirTel or not.

                            Airtel landline phones starts pulses immediately when you are just listening ring-tone. If the person called didn't answer your call, so that it is a missed call, then also the call will be charged.
                            When raised complaint with custmer care, there take was it's charged for instrument !!
                            Billing wise it should not make much difference per custmer, but it is not a good process. Do we really need to charge for instrument, which they advertise as free ?? Is this the way to charge for instrument ??
                            Do we have anyone who can resolve this issue ?

                                customer care executives from airtel talk rudely and didn't talk only.They put me on hold for 15 to 25 min.If i didn't disconnect the call even after hold then they disconnects after a long hold.It happened with me at least 10 to 15 times.My problem related to mobile office service (internet on phone)when i am not getting the service correctly.Please do something about this problem as the customer care exe are not trying to satisfy the customer correctly.Specially at night times they put on an unlimited hold. Hope after this complaint I will grt my Problem solved.

                                Airtel — rude cce and no help

                                I got a code to activate hello tune service on my number, i got that code from official site of airtel, when i sendt the messege as directed on the site my balance got deducted but nothing got activated and changed, when i complined on to the customer care (?) i got the complaint number and when i called that again the so called customer care behaved like a hawker,

                                CCE (?) of airtel dont know how to speak and there they are sitting for dropping our calls,

                                Airtel in delhi is one of the most horrible service provider,

                                Airtel — customer care executives are really rude and not at all professional

                                I am one of the customer of Airtel, would like to list some horrible experience which I had gone through recently. Inconvenience caused stated as under:
                                Terrible experienced with customer care executives (Postpaid Dept).
                                a) I registered a complaint about my bill on 23rd Nov as I am paying really high rates as comparison to the other telecom providers and really unhappy with the plan thus the CCE informed me that I’ll get a call from concerned dept. Thus On 29th Nov, I received a call from shivpratap and he queried if would like to disconnect the number. I explained the problem to him, so he informed me about Rs. 249 monthly rental plan. But he didn’t have adequate information that how much I would save if I’ll get the new plan. Thus I told him to give me 2, 3 days and I’ll check the amount myself.

                                2. The Executives in Customer Care dept are impolite they don’t have understanding, listening and problem solving skills. They aren’t interested to help the customer they don’t care with customer’s problem but they take it as an entertainment for them. I assume they just come to office to earn money without any hard work; however they are good for nothing.
                                3. Instead of empathizing and understanding the problem, your Cust Care executives were hanging up the phone. IS THIS KIND OF SERVICE WILL YOU PROVIDE TO YOUR VALUABLE CUSTOMERS???
                                4. Well I had a conversation with the Manager Mr. Rohit Sharma, , he understood the scenario and was polite and apologized for the mistake of his executives . He assured me that number will be reactivated today itself. And I really appreciate that.
                                5. Although being with Airtel, I was paying high call charges comparison to the other provider but still I continued the services with Airtel because of good service. But now this awful incident forced me to consider other providers too.
                                6. This is like a black spot to your organization, offering just inconvenience to the customers. Do you really want to retain the customers???
                                Well at the end I would just like to say that I am not really happy with the kind of services provided by your executives. How can you take a chance with the reputation of your organization and specially when you know that there are so many competitors in the market?? I think you should first enlighten them that what exactly the customer service is…!!! Your Prompt consideration regarding the complaint would be appreciated.

                                Airtel — irresponsible behaviour of the staff

                                I am one of the customer of Airtel, would like to list some horrible experience which I had gone through recently. Inconvenience caused stated as under:
                                Terrible experienced with customer care executives (Postpaid Dept).
                                a) I registered a complaint about my bill on 23rd Nov as I am paying really high rates as comparison to the other telecom providers and really unhappy with the plan thus the CCE informed me that I’ll get a call from concerned dept. Thus On 29th Nov, I received a call from shivpratap and he queried if would like to disconnect the number. I explained the problem to him, so he informed me about Rs. 249 monthly rental plan. But he didn’t have adequate information that how much I would save if I’ll get the new plan. Thus I told him to give me 2, 3 days and I’ll check the amount myself.

He assured me that the services will reactivate on 3rd Dec at 8 a.m. and guess what! The services are still not activated. But yes I received a call from airtel person at 7a.m. and that to on my landline number and he told me that I cannot activate the number right now as we need to follow the procedures.

                                Now I would like to take your attention towards few things –

                                4. Also I believe that there is a time limit to call the customer which is 9 a.m to 7 p.m which every company follows then how can anyone call the customer at 7 a.m and moreover on the landline number??
                                5. There is not even a single person in your company who is taking responsibility of the complaint or taking initiative to solve the complaint. No matter what, they’ll find a way to escape from it, and just hang up the phone..

                                i would like to inform you that since i connect my self with airtel i was happy .But last few days i am too upset with airtel fasilities . I would like to discuss one incident with you.

                                In the sunday(07/12/2008) noon i recieved a call from your reprsentative .He offered me to have a caller tune but i refused him to do so.But today wensday (09/12/2008) i found that my balaced get reduced with an amount eqal to Rs. 35/- and a caller tune has been activaited .Who are you to decide that i need a caller tune or not.Even when i had already refused for the same.
                                Therefore i request you to look in the matter and take it seriously.Otherwise results might be un-expected to you .
                                I can move to consumer forum also.

                                I had a very horrifying experience with airtel customer care.The guys were so arrogant and when asked to put on to their team leader they said he is out for dinner who was not available from 8:oopm in the evening to 11:00 am the next day.

                                Continouos call drops and they kept me on hold for more than two hours, ultimately my battery went dead.

                                I had call on callcenter Of Airtel on 10th Sep.2009..Regarding My Query for Airtel Live setting with Gprs help Desk at 9:00 pm(apprx),,There i had spoke with Agent named Abhijeet .i had inq only for setting for 7610 hansdet,,he just going to threaten me by overlapping me and and just interrupting not able to listen anything suddenly put my call on hold//and not answered since 5min..and then suddenly call dropped frm his side...such a worst expernce i had faced by airtel custcare...Even if custcare not able to handled Query then what expectations can we made for complaints..so i kindly noticed to all superiors of Airtel ..plz do needful

                                customer care executives of airtel unnecessarily deducted Rs. 99 from my account balance. when i confronted about it, they informed that it was due to activation of GAME POOL SERVICE on my number, which is completely lame as i never messaged for activation of any such service on my number..
                                during my confrontation, they behaved very rudely and denied for any sort of help.
                                i called them again and again & at the end, they put off my service for talking to customer care executive, which is seriously unbearable.
                                i am terribly pissed off by the AirTel Customer Service department !!!
                                it is not the matter of 99 rs, but honestly speaking the mess that was created due to irresponsible behaviour of your executives has ruined my trust from AIRTEL SERVICES..

                                  I have been using services from Airtel AP since almost a year, whenever I raise a query with regards to connectivity, tariff etc., they seldom revert with clarifications, the NODAL OFFICER is very careless on answering, with great difficulties I traced the phone no and called him but even afer holding the call for 22 mins he didnot come online to speak to me or called me back, rather he had asked his subordinate to take the complaint but never reverted back till date.


                                  Local office at Tirupathi has all un-trained staff, they don't know the behaviour with customers. Information given by them is age old and will not be relavant to the query asked to them.

                                  Hope some action will be taken on this.

                                  We have taken 10 Sim Cards for our Company in July’08 and after that also taken more than 8 Sim Cards for our Maruti Service Station. We had requested in July’08 that our existing numbers [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] & [protected] be also included in the Company’s group to avail discounted tariff. The above numbers are used by the Directors & Chief Executives of the Company. Inspite of hundreds of calls to Mr. Pawan Kumar (Mobile No. [protected]), Mr. Manjeet Singh, Manager (Mobile No. [protected]) and Mr. Navin Sethi, Zonal Head (Mobile No. [protected]), we regret to write that nothing has been done in last 5 months.

                                  Is this the service Airtel boasts of? Kindly get the necessary action taken by your staff and compensate us for the excessive tariff so collected on the above numbers. It would not be out of place to mention that two times, all the concerned papers are collected by your staff.

                                  I have activted the MISSED CALL ALERTS ... It goes on for 10 days and again i have to give a call to the airtell callcenter and have to do the settings again and again ... No 1 is there to solve the issue and every one whith whom i talk gave a different troubleshooting steps ...                                     I HAVE BEEN CHARGE Rs10.00 every day since 03-Jan-09 to my Airtel account. This is from a site http:/m.igfun.com. I dont have WAP or GPRS enabled service on my phone from Airtel till date. The Airtel Customer representative tells me this is not Airtels problem. I need to unsuscribe from that site. But I have not even logged in that site or made any subscription in first place. Pls process my complaint or enable me to seek legal advsie to sue Airtel. This I feel is not a small matter.

I received a SMS on 25th April 2010 @16:05hrs stating that I have been charged with Rs.99/- for downloading Mumbai Indians Game from Airtel. I have not applied for any such nonsense. I have contacted Airtel 121#airtelindia.com both through Mobile and online and enquired for refund. But the customercare people were laughing at my complaint. I am now prepared to take the company to the court. Kindly refund the wrongly deducted amount at once or CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION IMMEDIATELY AND REFUND THE balance amount of Rs.865.29P in my prepaid account. I will return the SIM card to the retailer you will name or directly to the company by courier.

                                    Airtel has resorted to un requested activation of services such as Baba Ramdev tips / cricket scores /Movie musti/ Cash jeetneka mssgs etc which are not requested by users. The customer care executive is not available to redress our complaints and to stop this nuissance of scores of mssgs and in some cases deductions of money causing loss to customer's hard earned money.

                                    airtel deducted money of 600 rs in 10 days with three intervals,(even though i informed them) saying that i am using airtel live , but i am not having even the settings. i asked for refund after that they are not responding properly ,now i planned to lodge a case for my grievences.

                                    Airtel GSM — Airtel Unauthorised Deductions and Poor customer service

                                    Offlate it is noticed that Airtel being one of the largest supplier of GSM service has become very care less about customer services.

                                    I have close to 5 connections of GSM service and i find one or the other issues with Post Paid services

                                    1) Unauthorised deductions in the name of various schemes in post paid service. If we call and ask customer care excecuitve says sorry and we will refund you back. What is happening how much money is Airtel robbing like this??? this is nothing both robbing people. There are many people who will not even know what is happening. Assume if there are 1 million customers who really dont know what is happening airtel is robbing around 1 crore ruppes from inoccent people.

                                    For a company like airtel this is pathetic and i feel very sad to expresse that i am one of the customer of airtel.
                                    2) Poor and pathetics customer service from airtel. Having so many people they could not solve my one problem of SMS . Really surpraised to see that how this company operates with such are poor problem solving techiniques.

                                    IT IS HIGH TIME THAT AIRTEL SHOULD BE AVOIDED FOR USAGE.
                                    We are using Airtel sevices from past 4 to 5 years and we use to trust them. But now the company has changed they have become like vultures they are in look out for an oppotunity to levy some unathorised chages as and when like.
                                    I have called the airtel cutomer service to activate do not disturb like 5 months ago for my moms mobile and they said that it will be activated in 45 days a rediculous time gap they have given but still i said ok but they keep on sending my mom the same unwanted sms and keep on activating some services which my mom doesnt even know about and started charging rupee at first everyday now it went upto rs5 everyday today i spoke to the customer service representative he said that it was me who activated the service and after a conversation he decided to deactivate the service and to my surprise he said that there is another service which is presently activated on the and asked wether i would like to deactivate it as well (and this service is about some chat with a cricketer it seems) this is the level they are going down to now. Airtel is really becoming a thief in a corporate veil.
                                    I would like consumer complaint forum to take some severe actions against these people who think that they are above the law and think themselves as so called GODS.

                                    I would like to inform you that i never knowingly or unknowingly activated this service.This is a case of fruad and i would like this case resolved asap.This has happened many times in the past and i demand full compensation.

                                      dear sir,

                                      i request to airtel customer care from last 45 days for change my rental plan from 299 to 444+cug.
                                      but they are not listening.
                                      customer care suggest me at 4th of oct, give the written complain at any airtel shoppe. i went at sarita vihar airtel shopee but they do not recieved that request .
                                      after that i faxed that request at airtel customer care fax and mail also to them at 5th of oct.
                                      then they give me a complaint/request no.[protected].
                                      and a call from customer care that your plan has benn changed at 3rd of nov.
                                      at 5th of nov i call to customer care than they did not change my plan.

                                      i call to 198 but they give not proper reply and i call to that nodal officer [protected]. but that no. is too much busy.

                                      so please help me.

[protected] tha jisme aug. months ka wrong bill generate hua tha, to maine cuostmer care par bat ki vaha mujhe btaya gya ki ap jo bill amount hai.. jma kar dijie aur apka jo axis bill amount hai vo apka next months me ardjust ho jaega but unse wrong axis amount waver ke lie bat ki thi to unhone saf saf inkar kar dia jiski vajah se maine us months ka bill nahi jma kar paya aur iske bad maine kai bar customer care par contact kiya par mujhe koi response nahi mila

                                      aur ab inhone meri call detail collection agent ko de di jo mere contact detail ke threw mere sister meri wife aur mere kai girls colleague ko bar bar call karke pareshan kar raha hai aur unse gandi gandi galiyo ka bhi use kar raha hai jiska no.- [protected] hai, ye apne ap ko airtel office ka recovery manager bta raha hai

                                      so mai apse keval itni request kar raha hu ki is par karyvai ki jae aur mujhe mere bill actual amount jo mera sattlement ka ban rha hai btaya jae...

                                        i have an airtel no.[protected] this sim isnt activated till.pls activate this sim as soon as possible because i have an urgent need of this, since last three dayzz this sim is nt activate its an new no of airtel.
