Respected Sir,

This is my first experience with your DTH service and worst experience for me as a customer with any of the organisation. I applied for DTH service 5 days ago. At that point in time sales people were very nice. But person who was supposed to come in a day to collect that money came 2 days late. Then i was told that installation will be done in 48 hours. Its being more than 50 hours noone came to my place. When tried to confirm the status with same people in Mumbai call canter people were very rude. Were not even ready to give me their names. My calls have been disconnected 5 times i am trying the same number [protected] sine 10.30 am. Two of them gave me their names Nikhad a girl and a boy donot remember his name. When i said i want to talk to any supervisor. They said no manager is available and they disconnected the call. One person talked to me as a supervisor after conversation he said he is an agent an cannot transfer the call to supervisor. All people were rude, unprofessional and had casual behavior. everyone of them advise me that i will receive a call in half an hour but didnot receive any call. i am totally fed up and have spent more than 100 Rs on phone calls to them. the i got another number of Noida center. executive named Sonia tried to help me and provided me a number 12148 saying they donot have any record for Rs 999 plan. When i talked to executive on this number. Again my calls got disconnected twice around 12.30pm after introduction. Then associate advised that i will receive a call n two hours and by the end of the day it will get installed. I have not even started the service and this is the treatment i have been given. Please provide me solution. Now the only option left to me is that i should go to consumer forum with Payment receipt and call details and should ask for all calls recordings from your end.

I can bet that Airtel Digital TV customer service is the WORST among all other service providers.
I have applied for an Airtel Digital TV and still have not got installed it and just waiting for them as with AIRTEL Customer is not the King he is the Slave. And despite repeated confirmation from the Airtel Customer Support, the same digital TV has still not been installed.

The other side, the Customer care number is always busy and the person Mr. Jeteen ( The one in Airtel Stores in Malviya Nagar ) with whom i have bought up the Airtel DIGI TV has now switched off his cell phone and no one in the Store is answering the same.

I Request you all people to avoid using airtel services for a peaceful life

My Airtel Digital TV customer id:[protected]. I have requested for shifting for connection on 5th July in a same apartment but different building. I have paid 600rs and shifting has been done on 6th July. I have started requesting for change of package from 7th July till 21st August. They told me to stay in particular channel for 45 minutes. I did whatever they said. Finally they said the request for shifting was not closed, because of that they were not able to change the package.After my continuous calls to airtel after one month, On 15th August they have raised an request for solving the issue request no:937086. Without solving the issue they closed the case on 17th August.
After contacting them numerous time again they created another request :954147 on 20th promising it will be resolved with in 24 hours. when contacted after 24 hours they have created another request 957757 on 21st. And the same night around 8'0clock they have disconnected the whole connection. And the customer service person said just keep the channel 999 on for 45 min and the service will work again. I did the same again, nothing happened.then I contacted CC again, they said that they have updated the case and the service will be working from 22nd 12:00pm onwards. But that didnt happened. so contacted the CC and the representative put me on Hold for 59:minutes 37 seconds, finally I have disconnected and contacted again. the another representative connected me to some senior manager, she promised me before 7:00 pm on the same day my service will be activated. and on the evening 7:30 nothing happened and I received message that my service was deactivated due negative balance, since I had 390.50 rs on my account. Then Another person from Delhi called me and introduced himself from HR? Department and promised me my service will be activated within 24 hours. Now it is Monday 24th August Nothing happened.

i am advising everyone. AIRTEL IS THE WORST OF ALL SERVICE PROVIDER. I have been a airtel customer for last 7 year. I am so ashamed to have gone for this connection. NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE I AM GOING TO SUGGEST ANYONE FOR AIRTEL, ESPECIALLY FOR DIGITAL TV. EVEN THOUGH IT IS FREE

This is by far the worst customer service department I have seen in any company. I have had to speak them several times or attempt to speak to them for many issues in the past 8 months. It seems like they are a very poor standard company who are interested only in selling the product.

I am going to throw it away and buy another DTH product from a reliable brand. I am also going to throw away my sim card from airtel. I regret for making a poor decision before and will never engage with Airtel or associated companies anymore. I am going to tell all the people I know about my bad experiences and stop them from buying anything from airtel.

I hope you all feel the same. Let's boycott the company which doesn't have any business ethics.
Worst customer service/ please do not opt this even if you get at free of cost

I have taken AIRTEL DIGITAL TV (biggest mistake I believe).
I have taken the Economy package (1750/- initially and 200/- per month).
I have paid 1750/- on 2nd may to the distributor and asked them to do the installation as soon as possible.
3rd May afternoon at around 1-30 PM AIRTEL engineer came and installed the equipments’.
After that i checked in the evening that i am not getting the channels. I called up AIRTEL DIGITAL TV customer care and they told me there are some technical issues and the problem will be resolved within 1 hour.
I waited for 1.5 hours and called up again when saw that the problem is not yet resolved.
They said 'Tomorrow morning you problem will be solved for sure'.
Next day morning i.e. 4th May evening i checked and saw there are no channels again.
I called up Customer care again. That person told me 'Your problem will be solved by tomorrow morning for sure.'
Nothing happened next day also.
I asked them to raise a service request on my behalf. That person said he is not able to raise a service request as there is some problem in server.
I called up 3 times on 6th May. First time they said it will be solved within 1 hour. 2nd time they said within 30 mins it will be resolved. Third time they said it will be solved by tomorrow morning for sure.
Nothing happened next day morning also. I called up again and they said it will be solved by next day evening 5-30 PM (8th May). Nothing happened.
I called up customer care again they said it will be solved next day by 5-30 PM. Means 9th May.
One of there so called engineer called me at around 4 PM. He came to my home with his so called assistant. That so called engineer again called up someone and said that my STB is not functional.
By that time he got one more call from another customer.
He told me that he will be back within 30 mins and left my home at around 5 PM. All these happened on 9th May.
Today its 10th May. Till now that so called engineer's 30 mins are not over.



"Now I feel, choosing AIRTEL DTH is the biggest mistake I have done.
These AIRTEL people don’t know anything once they get the money. "Customer can go to hell. We have the money now" - that’s what is there thinking i believe.
I am really feeling I have been harassed by these AIRTEL people.
Not sure how can they still be there in the market. They are the worst DTH provider i have ever seen."

I had raised a complaint today morning that there was a blip on the set box box and the TV was flickering due to this and service request number is 4879587
First of all I had to make 2 three calls to get to them @ 12150 . The the customer service executive tried helping me out to no avail . Seemed as if they were reading through teh FAQS rather than listenfing to my concern

However she informed that they will send an engineer and that it is a paid service and that they will charge rs 100 to which I said no

After 4 hours , an engineer came to my home(Don't know his name) and by mere looking at teh set top box said that this needs to be replaced and the charge will be rs 500 extra apart from rs 100 of visit charges

He said the teh box was installed on 7th Dec and hence it is out of warranty by some 17 days and he cannto do anything

I called customer service again . To my utter dismay first executive names Anand listerned to it . May be he did nto comprehend english and hence he hung up on me

Second time a decent lady took the call and kept on repeating that you can send an email to [protected]@airteltv.in and that they cant do anything I asked her that why should I pay a second time if I have already paid 2500 for my set top box and since we use it through remote this is their fault . that ways we will only be paying rs 500 each year .
On asking that if I may be allowed to speak to some supervisor rather than sending an email so that I can get a resolution I was told that they will also give the same information

ALL I CAN SAY IS BEWARE OF AIRTEL DIGITAL TV . I AM GOING TO CHANGE MY TV SERVICE TO TATA FOR SURE . NOW WITH THIS AT LEAST MY HOUSEHOLD WILL TREAD TO THINK ON AIRTEL

EVEN THE NUMBER OF THE SERVICE ENGINEER THAT CAME WAS INVALID.

I am Pavan Kumarv Tangar, my Airtel digital tv account: [protected] and i have complaint about my Airtel TV is not properly working. My request reference no. is 5756254. when i talk customer care he told me that a engineer will come to my home till last 3:30 PM but he will not come when i again call to customer care they provide a mobile no. ([protected]) but when I call this no. it continuously engaged about 2 hours finally he attend the phone when as I start to talk the engineer, the phone will be disconnected by him and again he has engaged.
I am highly dissatisfy your sevice there is no response till know.
Airtel has to be the worst provider of services especially for the Digital TV. I have made a complaint 14 days ago during peak of ICC world cup. The airtel call center/customer services is the most dificult to get through. One has to make complaints between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM else, the calls keep getting cut.

On getting through, they give you a service number and say they will have the problem fixed in a day. No calls for 4 days. After repeated attempted, i get through to the customer service center. I get another service number and was promised that my problems with the receiver would be fixed. Then after 2 days, i get a call from the service personnel. I stated that my box is not working and he says that they have to get a new box and they don't have any in stock and it would take a couple of days. waited patiently for more days.

Finally, I get the someone to replace the box. They says it would cost Rs.300 to change the box which i even agreed to pay. The box is fixed and the person says it takes 2 hours to activate. he then charges me Rs.100 as service charges (which was very strange). I did pay as the promise of watching the ICC world cup was overwhelming. The i get a error message (error code - 14), stating that the view card does not match the set top box. The service person stated that the i would start receiving the signals in 2 hours and left with the Rs.100.

The issue still has not been resolved (29th of March). I tried calling the service person several times but cannot reach them. The number given was [protected] (John) has to be the worst service agent.

Now, i'm thinking of canceling aitel dth and getting a tata sky even though i recharged my account in Feb 2011 (balance 3400+). I feel bad that i had recommended airtel to a lot of people.

Your Distributor is fake. service given by them is bad.
main ne 180 ka recharge karwa to apka distributor 10 rupees extra charge karta hai or 170 ka hi recharge kerta hai .or puchhane per ke 10 rupees kyo charge karte ho to kahta hai ye hum charge ker rahe hai company nahi.or jab mene pucha ke aap extra charge kyo ker rahe ho to bolta hai company se bat karo or fir bolta hai ke 10 rupees ke liye company aapki bat nahi sunegi...

I think in that area sirf ye distributor hi recharge karta hai to hum or kahi recharge bhi nahi karwa sakte.
so i want to need my problem will be solved becouse bat 10rupees ki nahi chori ki hai jo aapke distributor(company) ke Dwara ki jarhi hai.
if that problems not be solved than i left your service and buy another DTH product from a reliable brand and I am going to tell all the people I know about my bad experiences and stop them from buying anything from airtel.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Highly unprofessional people / worst service

I bought Airtel DTH on 28th June. They told me that it'll be installed on the next day. I called all possible phone numbers and after making almost 20 calls, they did installation on 2nd July. The installation did not work but the guy left saying that it'd work in 20 min. Of course it did not work. After that I called their central number, they said that someone will come by 10 AM, nobody showed up, called again, gave another time 5:30 PM. I'm not sure whether someone will come.

Before that whenever I called them, they would say that the installation will be done tomorrow without even asking for details about me. I have never seen this kind of customer service in my life. When I asked for the number for their higher management, they said they cannot give.

Here are the various phone numbers I called:
[protected]central number, they take complaint everytime, nothing happens, talked to Irfan)
[protected]installation office, always promise engineer will be sent but he won't show up.)
[protected]/58 (these guys sold it to me and then disappeared, they will pick onece if you call them 10 times and then will say that installation will happen tomorrow without taking any details, talked to Sanjay, Aarti, if you try to ask how do you know the details of installation when you don't know my name, they'd put the phone down.

They gave me a complaint number 9607051.
I have Tata Sky and Dish TV also in my house. I have never seen these issues with them at all. Looks like Airtel does not care about their customers.

There was no phone call from airtel for anything. You need to initiate all the calls. Basically you pay the money and they oblige you.

I used Airtel Digital TV(ADTV) from march 2010 and i was quite satisfied with the service and i decided to upgrade to HD DVR by july 2011. I paid through online and the product was installed on 4th july.
After 1 week the picture got shaking in some channels like Discovery, TLC, Jaya Max etc. then i called the distributor who installed the STB and he said the person who replaced the LNB may not fixed correctly. He sent that same person and he said the position of the dish is changed and i need to pay for the visit. But actual problem was with LNB which he didnt fixed in right position. I argued with the distributor and finally paid Rs. 100/-. From 13th august most of the channels went off and shows No Signal B001 error. I again called the distributor and explained the problem and told to send any other person. He promised to send a guy on 16th as 14 and 15 were holiday, but no response from him. Then i called CC and complained the problem they sent request number by SMS and after 1 day i will again receive an SMS as issue resolved. But there was no calls from distributor or service person. I asked to take back the product and refund the money on 21.08.2011, today i received a call from CC and they again told the issue will be attended today. I recorded all the calls made to CC and distributor so i am thinking of to go to consumer court. If no steps are taken against them these people will make us fool.

So friends think before going to buy airtel.

    Airtel is sending SMS from 54321 with it's Airtel Picture Post messages with title like below

        Sir,
        I received a sms that, on 1.8.2010 charges for sms will be 50ps per sms. I am a post paid customer and the I am eligible for 200 sms free per month. The service provider can not charge for sms at his whims and fancies. If they charge for sms on 1.8.2010 (Friendship day) I will have to go to court.
        do the needful for not charging sms while I am within the limit of 200 sms per month

          I am Nishant Agrawal an have a airtel broadband connection in tumkur city, I am calling tumkur airtel office from last 10 days to lodge a complaint about improper connectivity and also the receptionist shows quite an arrogant and improper behavior. Daily they tell me that they would be sening some technician but no one ever comes.
          Also they told you can get another connection from some other company and do whatever you can.
          Kindly look forward to the above complaint.

            Airtel! If you don't have the records, refer http://ndncregistry.gov.in/ndncregistry/search.misc to check who is registered for DND.

            I've subscribed for DND on Nov 2009, But I still receive calls from the airtel number for offers like caller tunes and all. Not only calls, SMS and MMS as well!

            Here are the numbers I regularly get calls from,

            [protected],
            [protected].

            End users, please add these number to your reject list so that you wont get disturbed.

            I've contacted Airtel Customer Care and Spoke with variuos SME's, Manager's, No go..
            No one know's how to stop them. Every one gives me a new date to stop it, however, it never happens. Instead, a new number is added in the list!

            Yes...seriously..even after subscribing to DND ..I do still get unwanted calls and unwated sms from airtel.its really a pathetic and a poor service from such a company.I was very happy with vodafone postpaid connection for 5 long years.Initially I had takne prepaid card and converted to postpaid by the best service given by Vodafone.But since I had some personal resaons to change my number I went for airtel to try.But I really didnt know the service is so poor and its been a torture for customer like me who works in night and sleeps during day and gets unwated ad calls which disturbs the sleep and life cycyle.I curse the airtel service at its worst.I will be soon changing back to vodafone happily because I know how thier service is from 5 long years!

              Today i had talked with Mr. Manjeet who is customer care executive of airtel i received a message that your "news subscription activated" whereas i had not done anything, after talked with Mr manjeet i get back my deducted amount but experience of taking with manjeet it was hurting & stunning and i told him to give complaint on consumer forum but he was like do it i warn him due to this conversation if i close my no. then......he replied CAN I DO THIS??

                Dear Sir/madam,

                This is to bring your kind notice that on 25Th july 2010 at 9:00 a.m, I received a call from [protected]. But since I was busy at that moment so I disconnected the call without further listening to him and switched off my cell. Later, at around 11:00 a.m when i switched ON my cell, I received an SMS from AIRTEL hello tunes service for activation of hello tunes and also found that total of 45/- had been deducted from my account. I made a call immediately to customer care but they denied to accept the complain, but they unsubscribed me from hello tunes service as per my request. As soon as i Disconnected the call from customer care, that guy called me up again and he was literally laughing on it and threatening me that he can Block my SIM even.

                Then again on 26th July 2010 at 7:12 a.m, he called me again but i didn't receive the call but after 15 mins I again found that my airtel number had been subscribed to 10 days activation of hello tunes.Atlast I made a call to APPELLATE division of WEST BENGAL AIRTEL and spoke to MISS PRIYANKA at[protected] about this and she refunded my lose balance of amount 55/-.She also consoled me that she will definitely look after this problem and will see that he never makes such calls again.

                But on 27th evening, I received the same call again from same number at 6:30 p.m evening That Guy, whoever he was, was asking my address and when i denied to provide, he threatened me that he will block my sim right now. And surely after 5 mins I found that i am unable to make or receive any call from that number i.e [protected].It has been totally blocked.

                My question lies, that who that person is, and how he got so much of authorization to activate VAS or to block a SIM?? And even after my several complains , why didn't AIRTEL take any kind of serious step against that Guy till date?

                It isn't a problem for me to get another connection but I cannot ignore this! Because my number is being used by my old mother. This kind of negligence from AIRTEL is totally intolerable.

                I appreciate miss priyanka's helping hand but I think this problems should be treated on Urgent basis.

                I want immediate justice to this.

                This is Nagini, the customer of airtel. I have taken this sim before 2 months. It has 6 months validity.

                Because of verification problem, you people disactivated my number.

                If any thing I have to provide, you should tell… but you didn’t intimate anything.

                Now if I consult airtel showroom people, they are telling that its not possible to reactivate.

                How can I loss money(1000) which has spended for getting validity??????

                Really, worst worst customer service . How many times I have to go airtel showroom????

                Please, rectify my problem.

                    Myself Dr Rajesh Kumar Singh, I get the prepaid mobile connection one year back, my mobile number is [protected]. I already submitted twice the details copy of my address proofs, photo & voter ID card.
                    this prepaid mobile connection is work fine for me, but it stop working when the airtel verification call
                    is come in they ask me my name, my address. I give all this details right. Then, on 29/07/10 they give a SMS is that

                    After next day it stop working now for incoming & outgoing calls. I visit retailer shop where I brought the Mobile Connection,then, the retailer said to me your address verification problem is solved by only airtel office, I can't do anything for you, but I do one thing, if your mobile connection is not work, I give you a free airtel prepaid connection.
                    It seems Airtel Prepaid Mobile Connection services is not good & if it is not activated , I get the loss of Rs.220.29 who will give my money back.So, In this you are requested to activate my present number.

                    is come in 08/07/2010, they ask me my name, my address. I give all this details right. Then, they give a SMS is that

                    After than next day I visit Airtel Office which in near yadav colony road opp. yamaha showroom jabalpur, then, Office people tell me where you brought the Mobile Connection, you can first go to that retailer & that retailer will solve your problem, I said that retailer shop is permanently closed, then, they say I cannot help you, then, I visit another branch of that retailer shop, then, the retailer said to me your address verification problem is solved by only airtel office, I can't do anything for you, but I do one thing, if your mobile connection is not work, I give you a free airtel prepaid connection. After that the retailer, then, I again visit the airtel office, then, they again say that I can't do anything for you, but they call 121 & give the phone to me & say talk to the customer executive officer, then, customer executive officer ask my mobile number, name, address, they say your address is not verify, then I say I have a Address proof details documents, then customer executive officer again ask my address & name, then, customer executive officer say to me, your name is not verify, then, I ask what is a name in there, he say I cannot tell you due to security reason, they say to me give the phone to office people, then, the phone talk is over, then, office people again say to me I cannot do anything for you. Even office people not take my address proof paper & photo.

                    Airtel Prepaid Mobile Connection services is not good, the airtel is the cheater. And they take all my balance of the mobile, I get the loss of Rs.480.07, who will give my money back.

                    This is Amita Jha. I am using Airtel prepaid connection [protected] since from Oct'07 issued with the name of my brother Mr. Manoj Kumar.
                    On 12th Oct'10, all of the sudden, i came to know that my number is not working and all the outgoings calls were getting transferred to Airtel Verification Cell. I spoke to the concern dept and came to know that my Airtel prepaid number was bared due to ID verifications issues.
                    The whole details were take verbally and I was told that the number will be activated within an hour and it happened the same.

                    But again on 13th Oct'10 evening, my Airtel prepaid number was bared.
                    I called up to customer care again, but it was of no use as no one was there till midnight to attend the call and the call was put on hold for 15 or more minutes for several times.

                    Today i.e. 14th Oct'10, since from morning 9, am trying to contact on 198 but the call is still unanswered.
                    And my Airtel prepaid number is still bared.

                    Plz help...

                    Airtel Prepaid Mobile Connection is biggest cheater in India. Airtel are fraudulent company, So, I am requesting to Indian government please take action against Airtel Company.

                      I recently (27 July '10)Purchased a broadband service from airtel, confirming that it was 'unlimited', as told by the sale man.Everything was done and installation was complete.

                      On the 30 July'10, I get a call from Bangalore (Ph- [protected]), the Customer Support representative then informs me that the 512 KBPS line would go down to 256 KBPS after a download limit of 8 GB .

                      This I believe is cheating and now have asked Airtel to cancel their line.I don't know if there any other surfers who face this issue.

                        I stay in Mogappair East, Chennai. I was having an internet broadband connection of airtel. Everything was going smooth till 12th July 2010. I have shifted my home a week later to next street. I requested for Connection shifting with Airtel Customer Care on 12th July 2010. after that so many times i called them and no response. sometimes they cut the call. If i go direct to any centre they simply says come after 6 months. you willnot get any connection.I went to airtel shope in anna nagar, 2nd avenue .. they are best, shouted on me to go for BSNL or Reliance. Great. I never seen such customer support. After all this i still stick to Airtel because of its good service.
                        Can you please check this for me whether i will get connection back or not.

                        Airtel — Shifting Not Done

                        Hi,

                        I have requested to shift my Airtel Connection ([protected]) from my Old Address to New Address on 1st of April'10 and still I didn't found anything to be going fine. Nothing have been done till date. I have called customer care at 121 and found that the status updated against my number is that I don't have address proof, infact I got a call from executive that he will be coming for the address proof and nobody came to collect any document, beside that there is other update done that wiring is done, but this is all and fake update, no wiring have been done till date.

                        It's been 7 long days and no progress is seen, I am really afraid of the Airtel Services, I have already taken off the Airtel Connection of my office because of the Bad Service and commitment but if still this goes on, I need to take out my this personal connection too...

                        I talked to a person personally who came for audit from airtel, he told me that sir, this is some other company who is handling this installation, so we cannot do anything, you have to wait till they come, we cannot say the timings.

                        I can suggest Airtel to take care of such employees, for such a bad response who are really making such a bad impression...

                        This is with regards to the Broadband service I had with Airtel. It was all
                        well till April 2010. In the first week of may i tried calling Airtel advising
                        to shift my land line and my broadband service to a new address where we will
                        be moving. I was told that call a day before and we will take your request.

                        1st may, i called to state that we will move out on monday so please take up
                        my shift request. after speaking with 3 agents finally i was cut off. I called
                        again on 5th and 9th and i was told that the request is taken up and it will
                        proceed. i need to make the payment.

                        I told that the due date is not over hence i will make the payment As soon the
                        service changes as i always use internet payment mode.

                        No action was taken and i gave up than in the month of June reminder calls
                        started flowing and to every agent i spoke i repeated the story to everyone,
                        most of them droped the call in between and some listened but did nothing.

                        Finally i decided to disconnect the service and i was convinced to get a plan
                        of 499 rental. I agreed that it should start from the new address.

                        But till date nothing is done and all i am getting is reminder calls to make
                        the payment now its almost more than 2 months airtel needs for providing
                        nothing.

                        So finally i am asking is there any complaints department in airtel to look
                        after this issue. regarding the payment i agreed to make one month payment even
                        though i was having no service but not ready to pay the rest and late fine as
                        it was not my fault.

                          Airtel Sim — Topup Recharge related

                          I was sent a sms from AX-Promo saying , recharge for Rs 160 & get Rs353 worth STD calling for 21 days. When I did so I received a sms from ERecharge saying, RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL on[protected] at 03:54PM. Talktime Rs 3.53. MRP Rs 160.00 Trans ID[protected].

                          What does it mean the Airtel Company is doing all misinformations. This is request and complaint to correct and confirm the STD offer. Otherwise serious action may have to be faced.

                          Highly unappriciable act by Airtel.

                          Also repeated ACT DND sms, the advertisement call from [protected] is ofen disturbing.
                          Dear sir after 3days i come to know that the recharge procedure written over card is wrong.
                          instead of typing *121* i should type *555*.
                          after typing *555* now i got my balance.
                          e purchased a top up card of Rs. 30 but after dialing as per given instruction, My mobile is not recharged what is this?

                            It is shocking to see a "Global" company like Airtel can get away with substandard service...I am sure top mgt is not cheating but professionals do ! I bought 2 Airtel Digital TV Connections in Mar 10 (after being fed up with Sun Direct Service -lured by ads and Tamil affinity(?!) during Sep 09-Mar 10 /Big TV for 1 year concurrently -best of all in retrospect- and Dish TV earlier for many years-zero service, good accounting!) as Airtel offered 15% Cash Back, I use 2 land lines 1 black berry! !.It took about a month to settle down but they denied me the rebate as booking was done through customer service and not internet ! I gulped it
                            Our families shifted from T Nagar and we got 2 more Airtel DTH in one dish as 50% rebate on 2nd unit.
                            Tragically,I got fooled by the marketing guy and after paying for 12 months I am told rebate will be there only after 12 months..Worse still, I paid Rs 3590/ per connection as per their tele info, now the system says "Two rupees and fortyfive paise is due" so they are not connecting the channels ! Even worse is that the Complaint Nos are allotted and are closed unilaterally and we are asked to book fresh complaints for the same problem ! What a shame for the Great Indian Multi National ! ... Dozens of e-mails are not replied even once during last 6 months....Chennai Customer Service is "helpless"...and Call Centre system ensures discontinuity for no fault of people...there is no accountability , no transparency , no receipts for money, no worksheet...Yes,in nretrospecct, it is foolish to have trusted a "Big" name and feel cheated all the way !                               My name is Ruchit Kapadia and my number is +[protected].
                              Since quite some time now, I'm facing a lot of problems with the network coverage in Airtel.
                              I use a New Nokia 5230 handset. And I used to get the same problem with my old handset too(Nokia N80)
                              At times suddenly the calls get cut and a service message says "Connection Error"
                              It really is a pain use Airtel, then only reason I'm continuing with this is the fact that I'm using this number since the last 6 years or so.
                              Hope the Indian customer soon get the option to change the service provider and keep their old numbers.

                                  I have booked a new Airtel DTH Connection throught customer care.
                                  My transaction id : 9939755, area pin code is 502032 and my contact number is [protected]. Aitel customer care said that they will come for installation in 48 hrs, but it is already 1 week completed.
                                  There is no response from customer care(saying area pin code is not correct).
                                  While taking the connect i spoke to Suneha khan, contact number: [protected].

                                  Installation Supervisor(Sachin) contact number will be always switched off([protected]).

                                  Serious action need to be taken on Airtel DTH and supporting team.

                                  i am frustrated with this service. Already payment is done 10 days ago. Promised that within 48 hours installation will be done. Very very poor customer support.
                                  In this 10 day i have called more than 50 times. But now progress in installation.
                                  If Airtel is unable to provide proper service, why it has entered into DTH market.

                                    this is with reference to the airtel broadband service i am availing (649 scheme) & the land line number is 45142801. the focus of my complaint is that i am not getting broadband speed of 512 kb/s, on the contrary i am getting just 256 kb/s. this problem is a reoccurring problem.can you please help me with the above problem as it is hindering my job and surely i am not availing what i am paying for.

                                    Air Tel broadband 649/ plan — address change

                                    Hi,

                                    My name is Arun Prabhakar. I use 649 plan of Air tel broadband. At the end of the month I have not received the hard copy of the bill. I called customer care executive and they told me that the address is wrong from their side. My address is E-18/ 327 sector 3 Rohini New Delhi 110085. They said there is 372 in place of 327.
                                    So please correct the address which I mentioned above. I would really appreciate if you solve my problem as soon as possible.
