[Resolved]  Alagappa University, Distance Education, Tamil Nadu — distance courses not recognised by DEC,new delhi

I DID MY BACHELORS DEGREE FROM ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY, TAMILNADU THROUGH DISTANCE .
I CAME TO KNOW THAT THE INDIAN UNIVERSITIES WHICH OFFER DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAMS SHOULD TAKE PERMISSION FROM " DISTANCE EDUCATION COUNCIL(DEC), NEW DELHI " BEFORE STATING THEIR COURSES, WITHOUT WHICH DEGREE'S OFFERED BY SUCH UNIVERSITIES ARE NOT VALID . HENCE UNIVERSITIES IN INDIA HAS TO TAKE PERMISSION FROM DEC AND IT IS MANDATORY FOR UNIVERSITIES IN INDIA GIVING DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSES . PLEASE CHECK ( WEBSITE : www.dec.ac.in ) for more information . ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY, TAMIL NADU IS ONE SUCH UNIVERSITY THAT DOES NOT HAVE DEC GRANT TO GIVE DISTANCE COURSES.SO PARENTS AND STUDENTS BEWARE OF THIS FAKE UNIVERSITY COURSES.

vaishali v joshi's response Sir i have completed my M.Phil degree from Alagappa University in 2008.Is it approved by UGC?If yes can i get the proof of it?Whta Process shall i do to get the genuine certificate of the said degree?Its an urgent Sir.plz.hoping your positive response

Mnaomanian Sundanar University Trinulveli Tamil Nadu, is one of the worst managed Universities in India.I wonder how the DEC has accredited it and how UGC has also been giving them Grants???The distance learning in this University is in a mess.Results of the semester Dec 2010 are still not declared and if you correspond or speak with them on the phone no response or very rude replies are given., Emails sent o the VC/PROVC/REGISTRAR/ASTT.REGISTRAR/COE go un replied and phones are switched off permanently.

I would request the concerned authorities, if they bother to read this complaint, , to carry out an audit of this worst horribly managed University to save the career of students all over India who are charged heavy fees and no results at all!!!
