Apollo Pharmacy — Customer service

Hello Sir /Madam,
Generally, I do not complain but with this is a disgusting experience with staff of Apollo Pharmacy, No.43, F/3, Ramasamy road, K.K.Nagar on November 19, 2011 at 10.00 am, Invoice no.CS0050297.
I purchased medicine for my mother and requested a discount as I hold a ATM Apollo Advantage card (Card No: [protected]), the “pharmacist” asked the card and I told her that earlier I used to provide my phone number and the old staf[censored]sed to pull my records to provide me the discount.
But, to my surprise this lady, was so rude and for no reason yelled at me that “it is not possible to do that”. Not only she stopped with that, she continued with abusive language, when I said that I did not plan to visit the store, so I did not bring the card.
When I told her that I need to complain about the manner how she spoke to me, she refused to tell her name or the number to make a complaint and challenged me that I can complain to anybody and she never cared about that as nobody can do anything.
I am shocked to see a person with this attitude in a reputed place like Apollo.
Another surprise I found in internet is that, I am not the only person being treated like this by Apollo pharmacy staff.
If a staff can challenge a customer that nothing can be done to her, it shows the level of confidence they have in their management and the commitment they have to the public. Now, it raises the question how we can trust these people and purchase a medicine that is to save our life. With their height of negligence in customer care, if they give a wrong medicine or expired product, who is going to be answerable for the consequences.
To the Apollo pharmacy management - Do any one of you can take up the challenge your staff has thrown out?
If someone in the management have the courage to take action against these type of non customer friendly attitude people then you may continue with your business or lose like other chain stores.
It is high time for the management to think over, whether to have these type of front end staff to drive their business in this competitive market. If Apollo has any customer service left over, let them train their staff.
With nearly 8 years of patronage finally I got the best service in my life!.
Already the footfall is less in this store as there are many pharmacy in our area, to cater our needs who are all well known to us and provide one to one service. As of now, I have decided not to continue business with Apollo pharmacy anymore. I do get best service with proprietorship shops in our place.
