I purchased Appcomin Synthetic enamel paints from H. M. Gulamali Through Gariman Enterprises 100 ltrs. amount of 17500/- but application of paints too rough, I complained to M/S H.M. Gulamali to visit the sight and solve the problem but he denied. Same paint will be purchased from Rainbow Marketing The rate is different from M/S H. M. Gulamali 650/- per Drum (20lters) . I complained to Mr. Harsh Bardhan on 09.10.2011 mobile [protected] (Asian Paints) , he said that paints is third quality so I can not give Guaranty.

    I am a dealer of asian paints since ten years.On helpline i filed a complaint no.[protected] regarding poor quality of Apex but nobody responded.After that i filed a complaint no.[protected] regarding my TSO mr.ankit that last 3months he never visited my shop and not responding to my phone even.Now it's very difficult to do buiseness.I am complainting again n again but nobody cares.Please help me.

      We engaged Asian Paints to paint our house. As per the policy they have collected 100% advance and started the work. We paid Rs.50,000/- and the person who collected the payment said there will be + - 5% in the final value. The painting work is completed with poor quality(no trained painters) and service. After the work is completed Asian paints gave me revised bill for Rs.75,000/-. As per my understanding Asian paints start the work only after collecting 100% payment, then why a revised bill for 75,0000 which was not informed to me earlier. If they had informed the amount earlier i would have not gone ahead with asian paints since it was more than my budget. When we questioned them why there is revised bill, we got a reply that they have taken the actual measurement now only(As per the welcome kit from asian paints, which we have received after the completion of the painting work, it says the painting work has to be commenced only after taking final measurement and 100% advance as per the measurement). I don’t know Why the hell they did not take the measurement before commencing the work, i was not aware of the measurement(I came to know only after receiving the welcome kit, which was sent after the painting work is completed) and I was under the impression that 50 k is a standard amount for a 1500 sq ft. house three bed room house (interior). Why should i suffer for the mistake from asian paints. Its a literal cheating by asian paintss to quote less amount and fetch the order to meet the target and take the additional amount from the poor customer. If they had informed earlier that it will cost me 75k I would have gone with a best local paint contractor who quoted me 65k. The RA did not supervise. In between they diverted the painters to some other sites and they don’t have the courtesy to inform the customer, since they are collecting 100% advance they are least bothered about the customer.

      I am living in Hosur, Krishnagiri District, Tamilnadu, I have painted my House 8 moths before, paints were purchased from Asian Paints Authorised Distributer and Painter recommended by the distributer. All material required for the painting was purchased from the Authorised distributer only.

      After 5 months we found bubbles in the inside walls, the bubbles are developing gradually and any time it will come out from the wall. What ever money and time we spent have became waste. We did not expect this type of result from the Asian Paints material the largest and esteemed Paints manufacturer in India, we are totally unhappy about the quality of Paints.

      I do not know what to do now and whom to approach to get it rectified, if your are really worried about the customer satisfaction and to improve your company's image do the needful to rectify the defect.

        I have painted apex exterior emulsion for my house.The paint started peeling off with 6 months of painting.I have launched a complaint in customer care (Complaint No:[protected].A person from asian paint visited.I am not getting a satisfactory response from your side.Inspite of reminding the customer care no one is bothered .I have spent nearly 2 Lakhs for the painting.Please provide a proper solution for this issue.

            Entered into contract recently by paying 100% advance. Committed start date of painting in contract was 20Apr11. Then it was postponed to 22Apr11. Then it was postponed to 27Apr11. Just received message that 27Apr11 will also not be met.
            Have little confidence in any assurances given now by salesperson. Hence have asked salesperson to cancel contract and refiund money (which he agreed to). Hopefully, will get the full refund soon.

            Thank you for speaking to me, today, 9th May 2011. I do apologise for the delay that has been caused because of the untimely approach of the Sales Associate.
            Also the customer grievance redressal process in your case did not work because of technological problems.
            However that is not an excuse that I wish to offer.
            I will come back to you to share the corrections in the process that we are undertaking to ensure no other customer faces such problems in the future.

            Asian Paints Home Solutions — Delay to start the work

            With a assurance to start the painting job in three days time the executive took the cheque of complete amount on friday i.e 20/5/2011. The work has not yet started as on 26/5/2011.
            I have booked asian paints complete home solution for my flat from Perfect Enterprise of Asia paints for a complete home solution. The work carried out by them is very shody and not upto the mark as per the standards of Asian paints.The sales rep Mr Praveen of Perfect enterprises does not repond to the calls and neither visits the site.We have paid an advance as well but the work is progressing slowly and to our shock we have found that no Asian paints painters are coming since 1 week.Mr praveen from Asian paints is not picking the call and responding.More than half of the payments have been made in advance on assurances given which turned out to be false.


            We request you to take strict action on this issue as this is causing a lot of delay for us to shift in the flat.Kindly do the needful so that our faith in Asian paints is not shattered.

            We have evaluated the complaint basis a visit to your father's house on Saturday 5th May 2012 and have understood the following -

            a) There was a an area of improper finish of putty work that was identified. The customer service officer, on observing the same, has agreed that we need to re-work about 150 sqft of area.

            b) A delay in the work schedule - The same has got delayed due to concurrent work schedule of wood polishing that was happening on site. The same was informed to your father.

            c) The Sales Associate Praveen has indeed agreed that he had not taken your call and we have severely reprimanded him for the same.

            To take things forward this is what we propose -

            a) The customer service officer will come to your father's house on Monday along with the revised work schedule to ensure 1) Correction of the 150 sqft area of putty work and the quick completion of the balance work. We will strive to complete the work at the earliest without further inconveniencing you.

            b) The CSO will also provide a hard copy of the painting estimate which was not provided earlier.

              Why we went for APHS.
              Brand name, professional service, effective site supervision and some kind of value addition like suggestions / expert advice for color schemes.
              These are the very few of those mentioned on website of Asian paints.
              APHS website has mentioned that “4 out of every 5 customers who have tried APHS are satisfied with the service”. I am very sorry to say that I am the one of those 5th customers who is not satisfied. (After looking at the quality of work done at my site, I really doubt your statistics) Moreover, I am the one who will never recommend Asian paints to any one I know at least those who want value for money.
              Why we are ready to pay so much premium to APHS? Only for the premium service and cooperation that we expect. This is what your customer engagement executive also promised when they pursued the work order.
              There were many promises like sanding of old color / masking of household items / covering the floor etc. but all these were carried out only when we asked for. Nothing was done proactively. You say “Skilled and trained painters by Asian Paints Painters academy” and they even do not know how to match edges, get rid of air bubbles? Before going to next stage a check was expected as a go ahead. This was never done by APHS team. Is this what you call expert and professional service? Need to change the definition then. The site workers were mostly monitored by my family. In fact what we expected was a feedback asked from us by your people at every stage. It is really funny that your people asked for us to sign a feedback form just saying that it is a simply formality and only when they found that this is going to be an escalation.
              Work was delayed because of sentry item like masking tape. Color shades were not delivered in time which in turn caused delay and wastage of man hours.
              What is most irritating is the attitude of APHS team. They have not even bothered to be the first to keep in touch when such occurrences took place. There is no coordination between the sales associate and relationship associate and the contractor to whom you have appointed to carryout the work at our home and the last with the customer itself. From the very first day, all the follow-up communication was unidirectional and only when I started first. APHS team never turned back in case of any delay. All queries were answered only when we asked for. Is this what you call customer friendly and customer facing?
              Your relationship associate’s job profile seems to be a courier boy who manages logistics only. No supervision / no customer engagement / no expert advice what APHS claims for? The overall approach towards work was too much casual and unprofessional.

                The asian paints unit in Hyderabad is an absolute fraud.These people have no manners and professionalism whatso ever.
                I am an architect and have contacted Asian paints Home solutions for Painting works.Somebody by name (Rakesh)called me and said that he would be meeting me in a day or two.After about 10 days and my continous contact to him he failed to meet me and was very careless eventually i complained to the Asian paints helpline after which he took time and calld me.
                After giving 3weeks of time they returned to me with a very rough estimate upon questioning their seriousness about work, they said that they would behave like this only and not take up the job and i can go ahead to complain again and these words where from the mouth of their business head(Gaurav).The job was estimated to Aprx Rs 10, 00, 000/-He is seriously unfit for that position..
                Now upon insisting to talk to the complain cell they came up with a new story that as my site was too big they are not capable to execute the job.It is humours that a company so big cannot execute a site of Rs 10, 00, 000/-.
                What ever may it take, i am going to take this matter to the highest level possible and make sure that those people regret for what they have done.

                I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ASIAN PAINTS FOR ANY OF MY FURTURE PROJECTS.

                  As a consulting architect, i think i would be the most suprised person on this planet.The asian paints home solutions appears to be a fraud and the response is hopeless.It is a disgrace that the team leader behaves with out manners and dosent know how to present himself to a customer leave alone the sub staff working under him.I have been constantly following the complaint through the toll free number but there seems to be no response.
                  They have behaved in such a way that i have lost hope on this product and have decided not to recommend this product to any of my future projects.

                  Gaurav, Rakesh and Ali.They are the totally responsible for the decision i have taken
                  only if someone could get me the number of someone responsible to take up this issue seriously.

                    The Current Promotion Offered by ASIAN PAINTS On Televison, Print and Internet media is nothing but a Farce that I have experienced So far.


                    They are Advertising to get One Wall Painted to surprise your Spouse. There is a bait that a Popular Actor would visit your House.

                    After sending an sms, I received a Call stating that One Wall would be painted for me for free as part of the Promotion.



                    Further more today I received a call from the Asian Paints Rep Rajesh Desai (from the Office at Andheri East) stating that Charges would be Rs. 5000 to paint a Wall. This transpires to be a cost of Rs. 50 - 65 per Sq Feet for a wall of 80 to 100 sq feet.



                    This is nothing but Misleading the Customers to call in and get charged for Painting services, wherein the regular market rate is anywhere from rs. 15 - 35 psf.



                    I wish to report the Matter to the authorities for misleading the Public at Large

                    As a representative of Asian Paints we have clarified the matter to Mr Tarun Bhatia and he has agreed that there has a been a certain mis-understanding of the communication between him and the Helpline agent.
                    On hearing the help line sound byte he has clarified that there was no mention made of a "free wall" on the call. We have also ensured that the communication to the customer very clearly mentions the price of the wall upfront so that there are no further mis-communications. We had also requested Mr Bhatia to print a re-joinder to his above mentioned mail to which he has agreed. We anxiously await his response on the same.

                      As per T.V commercial Ad . I bought 40 Liters of Apex Ultima . They always say "BAHARI DEEVAROKO DHUL TIKNE NA DE" for 7 years . O n the basis of this I spent 50000 INR for painting Durability of Apex Paint is only 1.5 year . This is fraud commitment from leading paint company .i.e Asian Paints.

                      I want the penalty from the company . Please send cheque to my residential address

                      Asian Paints — very poor quality of APEX paints

                      I have applied APEX on the external walls after base coating of white cement, putty and primer before 3 (Three) months. but now almost all the surface of exterior walls show white patches. do the needful in this regard...

                        I have bought 20 Liter Professional Wall Primer having Bad Finish on the wall because of this Upper coat of Royale Luxury Emulsion got poor finish .

                        I spent around 45000 Rs for paint , Which was not upto the mark of 1000 Rs.

                        I bought watching television commercials of this Company. It said "HAR GHAR KUCH KEHTA HAI "actually it was wrong they should say "HAR GHAR KA PAINT KA COMPLAINT ASIAN PAINT HAI"

                        My advice to Every Mumbaikar Please donot go through only T.V Ads .Buy Genuine Products from other companies.Like Nerolac , Nippon, Jotun, Lewis Berger, ICI etc.

                        The above companies are actual paint manufacturer . They itself manufacture new product. But asian paints copy their Formulations.

                        So please........ .please.......please ........Think on this and Donot buy Fraud company's paint.

                          I was promised that photographs for your foresight will be sent to you within two weeks. Even waiting for a month i did not receive photographs. On enquiry i was told that the photographs have been delivered at wong address in Jullunder. I told them to e-mail me soft copy, which they quickly agreed. I am still waiting for their e-mail, even on repeated reminders they have ignored the request. I expect some efficiency from reputed company.

                            I had engaged APHS in the month of Feb 2010 to do the complete 'Wood Finish' of doors, windows, and gates and painting of window grills of my whole house. The ‘Wood Finish’ is application of PU for the wood surfaces. During the work itself the applicator had taken too many short cuts for the work and even defined of 2 coats as one upward stroke and one downward stroke of the paint/spray!

                            I had repeatedly escalated it to the APHS supervisor and Mr. Raghavendra Kamat, the head of Radiant Enterprises, which had provided me the contract. I had also sent several emails of the non-conformance of their processes by the applicator and had enclosed photos of the shoddy work done by them. The applicator had done such a poor quality job that the doors and windows do not look newly done up at all. The head of Radiant Enterprises finally accepted the fact that APHS had never undertaken the ‘Wood Finish’ job of this magnitude. He had orally agreed to extend the warranty to 2 years but did not give anything written.

                            When the project was about to end, we observed several deficiencies in their work including peeling of the PU, bubbles, roughages, etc. APHS agreed to do the necessary repairs in late April and later we mutually agreed to shift it to third week of May. However, after several reminders, emails, and phone calls, they finally got the repair work done in September.

                            Once again, the poor quality of work and supervision has surfaced. Now there is white powder that comes off the surface of the gates and the main door. APHS tried to rectify the problem unsuccessfully.

                            The original melamine coat that i had applied 6 years back had withstood the vagaries of weather much better than the PU (which is supposed to be a superior product) coating done by APHS.

                            APHS did not take any timely action of having a knowledgeable supervisor to oversee the work. Consequently I have suffered a lot in terms of time, money, and my energy in following up with them. Their 2 year warranty term would be over by the time they finish the first job itself properly.

                            I would certainly not recommend APHS in Bangalore for any ‘Wood Finish’ job at all.

                            wooden gate — bad service

                            I had purchased a wooden gate worth Rs 5000 . The gate provided was not good according to its cost.
                            readily it is problem like coming out of bolts, screws and gate lusture is also not good. I had told it to shopkeeper but he always let it down saying it is old work and he is busy with his current work.

                            I have faced a similar experience.Very poor quality of Supervision and inspite of repeated call no actions are taken.
                            Work is certainly finished in shortcuts as the time limit imposed on the schedule is not feasible by supercomputers leave alone human.

                            My complaint is of a different nature but definitely a matter of great concern. Got my exterior walls painted by APHS Colour concept Kolkata which was completed by end Jan. 2011. The concerned officials of M/s. COLOUR CONCEPT WERE VERY MUCH PARTICULAR IN COLLECTING THE BILLS ONLY. THERE WAS NO SUPERVISION TO CHECK THE QUALITY CONTROL. Everything was left on the contractor who was offloaded with the work.
                            Through constant chasing and then complaining to the customer care at Mumbai office over phone the bills were submitted at much latter date. The worst part is WE are yet to receive the WARRANTY for one year which should have been issued. May be it will be isuued after the warranty period is over.
                            Alas! ASIAN PAINTS HOME SOLUTION we are now reluctant to get the interior walls painted by your representative! Why are we hesitant? Is it for your arrogance and negligence? Please think it twice. Regards

                            Hi, I had a very bad experience with the asian paints team (outsourced to radiant enterprises). During the course of painting they spoiled on of our interior item (kids study table) its broken, nevertheless I expected these are so unprofessional to stand on top of the table and spoil them. The contractor was saying I didn't perform thorough check of the items, But how can I expect a painter spoiling the interiors . They are claiming that they didnt do it, but with much pursuing they just gave some 4000Rs stating its even though they havent spoiled it they are giving this amount.

                            My struggle didnt end here, the painter came to clean the house after the painting, switched on the tap water and went off. And night our entire house was filled with water and the wooden flooring is damaged. And say I have to verify whether the painter has switch on or off tap also it seems. I have to shed rs 30000 to do the wooden flooring or either put tiles

                            Gave it to asian paints thinking the painters will have some responsibility and are equipped guys. But worst experience . Never go with them

                              i had done painting in my house last month however due to colour infection & bed quality of asian paints colour all my family memebr total 4 person admitted to hospital & all are severe alergic broncatist i had sepnt Rs.70000/- for the same & i spoke with asian paints Mr.Praful Joshi officer customer services who is also agree & they taken all reports colour semple & today they give me report that mistake is in not colour it is in terpentile so u can claim to dealer my question is only who is reponsible in my case dealer who sell asian paint goods or company i just want my hospital exp reimbusement due to said i m not abel to work for one months & my father mother & wife all r seveer effected at present they r not cure so pls look into the matter & oblige

                                I hv purchased epoxy apple green of Asian paint. For trial I bought one tin for sample and found ok. But after that we purchased 6 tins of 20 Ltrs but the shade is diffrent. It is much lighter. Material was purchased from H Firoz Rangwala ( C p tank) Mumbai and sent to our site at chiplun.                                   After 8 years of staying in my house, I had got the house painted by Asian Paints home solutions(AHPS). They employed Shree Services based out of Erandwane, Pune for this purpose. I spent about 60K for the entire job.
                                  After a few days, I started noticing cracks in multiple places. More and more started coming up. I called up the folks who did the work. No one would respond to my complaint. I raised a complaint on their website too. Finally, I managed to get hold of their so called after-service person. He gave me a lame explanation about the problem related to the structure of my house construction. Inspite of telling them that my house is 8 years old and cracks should not be appearing at this point, and also showing them a neighbour's house that they had painted, he would not agree that there is a problem.
                                  When someone from APHS called me up for a survey of the job done, I again requested them to register a complaint. Another technical person came and gave me the same explanation.

                                  I have shown the problem to many others who mentioned that the problem is related to improper use of laambi or incorrect mixing of water.
                                  I am struggling to get this problem corrrected by APHS.

                                  I have given order to do Glow painting in my kid room, I am fully upset on their service, cheated in Quality of Paint.. Poor workman ship, Delayed service, false information and etc.

                                  My suggestion take any local painter and do the painting at your house

                                    Recently my house was painted with Asian paints products. I have purchase all the paints thru one of your authorized seller.


                                    I have been cheated with his business culprit practice. The details are as under.



                                    I have purchased 8 liter of Young wine (apex paints) from your authorized seller.

                                    He has done a mistake while mixing the color and he not informed me what he has done mistake and delivered the paint. He was given different color which was not selected by me. Internally he has been negotiated with painter which was noticed me only after following incident.



                                    After next day I had purchased another 2 liter of young wine, it was mixed correctly and delivered. After painting this two liter I have come to know this party (your authorized seller) has been cheated me in terms of color delievery.



                                    As per my bill he has to deliver 8 liter paint (young wine). He delivered his choice and internally managed the painter.



                                    He has been cheated me in terms of colour delivery without brining to my knowledge.



                                    I have purchase more than Rs. 35000/- Asian paints for my house painting. I have bill document (purchased bills) from the party for the purchase of young wine.



                                    I request you provide me, what sort of action you are going to take on this party and what way you may compensate to us. Based on your action plan, I will take this issue to customer court.



                                    The document and party details will be provided after your clear cut action plan.



                                    We always prefer the Asian paints for our house, by your seller cheating issues had been lost our faith in your customer support and controlling your business chains.

                                    I totally Agree that Asian paint do not have any control on their delars and dealers are selling Expired Products infect delears do not have manners how to talk with client or customer this, my friend faced similar problem with DEEPAK TRADER, sector 14, Gurgaon. Deepak Traders sold him expired product and when is went back for refund his money deepak trader abused him.

                                    Please be aware before step in to Deepak Trader.

                                        I choosed asian paints for my home in December 2009, after doing analsis in market, that was a biggest mistake I did, Paint started getting off the walls only afer two days, Some walls have moisture in them for that wall if it get down than its ok,but it is getting down from normal wall also. This asian paints company is cheeting with consumers, their rates are high but quality is same as local brands. So better to go for local brands rather then spending huge amount on asian paints...they are crap.
