i am misnomer and i just received an email a week ago, from Austrsliam Lottery Awards that i've won 500, 000 US$ of the said Lottery. And im one of the 8 lucky persons that won int the lottery, where they conducted it every three years. i was referred
to a certain firm law (Phil Bohr Law Firm), i dont know if this firm law really exist at all.
They ask me for a totall of 420US$ for their service fee and other expenses. i dont know what to do, if going to give them or not. i dont wanna have false hopes.
All participants were selected through a computer balloting system
drawn from One hundred thousand E-mail addresses from Canada, Australia,
United States, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa as part of their
international promotions program which is conducted annually.

This Lottery was promoted and sponsored by a conglomerate of some
multinational companies in Australia as part of their social
responsibility to the citizens in the communities where they have
operational base.This is part of the organizations' bid to show
gratitude to the global society for their patronage since the last 33
years of existence.

i would like to know if this event/matter is legitimate.
Please investigate this scam or whatever it is.

I am in the United States, and I have received these lottery winning notifications before. They arrive every few years, and they are a scam, a fraud, an attempt to get a bank account number, a routing number, some way to access your personal funds and take them. Sometimes they even ask you to deposit some money in order to receive the full "winnings". This fraud is NOT new, it has gone on for decades in the United States.

The most obvious way to tell if it is a fraud or a scam is that all lotteries around the world have one key rule to playing them, YOU must be that person who bought the ticket, not a consortium, group, or board.

Whatever you do- THROW THE LETTER AWAY AND DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THEM, NO MATTER HOW CONVINCING IT SEEMS.
