[Resolved]  Auto Rickshaw — Meter Incorrect

I travel daily from Sion to Goregaon East (Jawahar Nagar Railway Crossing) at 8.30 am. Everyday the auto fare ranges between 135-145 Rupees. Today i took a rickshaw from the same junction at Sion. When i sat in the rickshaw this rikshaw's meter had a dirty cover on it and so it could not be read throughtout the travel. When i reached my destination, the fare was 198 Rupees. I told the rickshaw driver that this is incorrect as i take this route everyday & there can't be a difference of 50 Rupees. He said "ok give me 10 Rupees less, Pay me 190". On telling him that its still very high, he started telling me "you should not take the rickshaw from that junction then, all the meters are fast there as the traffic police there charges 20Rupees from us to stand there, so we need to recover it from our customers". I told him that if he wanted an extra charge he should have asked for it at the beginning, covering the meter and then extracting extra money like this is being dishonest on which he said "Who is honest these days" and gave a very dirty look and smiled.i ended up paying him 200 Rupees and just walked away.

I am extremely upset with this behaviour. This auto rickshaw number is MH 03 AR 9718. I would request you to please look into this matter as this is happening for the 2nd time on the same route with auto number starting with MH 03 AR - . For the previous instance, i was unable to remember the number.
