[Resolved]  Bajaj Avenger 200 cc, Bajaj Probiking, Pune — Non delivery of bike after doing full payment

Dear Sir,
I want to inform you about my highly bitter experience with one of your showrooms (Bajaj Probiking) in Pune.
I booked a bike (Avenger – 200 cc black) by doing full down payment (Rs. 75,000/- cash) on 28.06.10. They promised me to deliver the bike within 3-4 days.
They did not inform about the status of the delivery even after 4 days. When I called the showroom they told me that my papers has been forwarded to some other showroom from where I would get the delivery and they gave me their number. When I called that showroom, they said that they have not received my papers and told to enquire at the showroom where I booked the bike. So I called Bajaj Probiking again and told them so. They said that the person who has booked my bike is not available now and would call back once he gets back. But he never called back and when I called to talk to him, receptionist told me that he is available but he is busy right now. After that I called him number of times but he did not talk to me.
Next day (02.07.10) I again called and then also receptionist told me that he is busy, so I said that I am going to email this to your higher officials. Then after 5 minutes he called back and said that the bike is available but there is some problem in paper work, so I would get bike next week by Wednesday / Thursday.
He again as usual did not inform me about the status of the bike, so I called today i.e. 08.07.10. This time he said that the bike’s production is stopped by the company as it is launching some new model of Avenger. So the bike is not available now and I would get the bike once the new model comes and also it would be about 4000 costlier.
When I called Bajaj customer care they told that avenger production is on and they don’t have any information regarding new model launching.
At the time of booking itself I told him that I need the bike urgently and he promised to deliver the bike within 3-4 days as the bike is available with him. But now I have to wait for unknown period of time which is not possible for me.
This whole incident has created a very bad image of overall Bajaj’s customer handling. There is no concern about the customer’s inconvenience. I am very dissatisfied with treatment given to me that too after doing full down payment.

I agree with Gaurav. I got the same information from Bajaj Probiking center near Rubi hall pune. They told me that new bajaj avenger with 220 CC engine is going to launched soon but when called bajaj helpdesk[protected], they told me that they don't have any such information to confirm it and you can book avenger 200 cc and production is still on.
