[Resolved]  Bajaj Finserv Lending — EXCESS EMI and PENALTY CHARGES FOR LAST 14 MONTHS

Address:West Bengal

I purchased one FUJIFILM Camera – S2950 From M/s RAIPUR ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD. of 257, Chittaranjan Avenue, Kolkata 700 006, Invoice GP/1233/12-13 (Sales Person: SOMA) on 5th June 2012 for Rs.9,999.00 inclusive of 13.50% Vat and made a Cash Payment of Rs.3,500.00 leaving a balance due of Rs.6,229.00 finance made by M/S BAJAJ FINANCE LTD, KOLKATA. EMI per month already scheduled on Rs 834 *8 months (Bajaj Finserve loan account No: 4100CD00299191 and 410BAL[protected] through United Bank of India ECS facility A/C No[protected] savings account holder name Chandrima Chatterjee.

But It was surprised me that Bajaj Finserve lending deducted Rs 1000/- through ECS from my savings bank account. When I wanted to know from the Bajaj Finserv Lending executive about the said rate of payment of Rs.1000/- instead of EMI of Rs.834/- they informed me that an Insurance Policy has been issued in my name which has caused shock and surprise to me. I have neither been given any such Insurance Policy nor any document nor Agreement relating to such insurance. Thereafter, on enquiry over the telephone, Kolkata Branch office of Bajaj Finserv Lending told that they are sending their money collector to collect the EMI @ R.834/- instead of Rs.1000/-. The person who sanctioned the loan towards the purchase of the Camera, asked to me to pay two EMI at the rate of Rs.1000/- and thereafter the said Insurance will be stopped and the balance amount out of the said two premiums of Rs.1000/ each, would be adjusted against the last EMI payment or the balance after adjustment will be sent to my bank account. Since then, EMI installments @ of Rs.834/- were being collected from my home instead of Bank Account.

Though my installment payments have been cleared of[censored]pto the month of February 2013 it is very much surprising that a penalty amounting approximately Rs.4000/- has been imposed on me which fact I came to know from one or your Kolkata office personnel.

Subsequently, on July 29, 2013 I was informed by one Mr. A. K. Sharma, Advocate of Delhi (M- [protected]) informing that a court case has been, or is going to be, instituted at Delhi Court against me for realization of the penalty and also whether I will proceed with the case or settle the matter by paying the penalty amount out of court and Since July 29, 2013 I am receiving telephone one after another and till today repeatedly at 12.28 P.M, 12.31 P.M. and 12.37 P.M. from one Kanika Rawat of Delhi Court Information Centre (M [protected]) with threat that if a sum of Rs.4,000/- (approx) is not paid within one hour by today (31/07/2013), then legal proceeding will be instituted against me and in that event a fine of Rs.15,000/- will be imposed on me and the said sum of Rs.3,900/- should be deposited in the Bank Account of Shri Subhendu Kumr Mahapatra, Account No. being [protected] SBI IRC Villge, Name Subhendu Kumar Mahapatra, IFSC- SBIN0007045

Something very similar happened to me - I also received threatening calls apparently from Tees Hazari court ON 21 nOV 2013 from ph number[protected] saying there was a fraud case against me and notices had been sent to my house - when i said that I did not live in this address any more and my parents did but they had not received any notice. I was asked to call Advocate R K Chauhan at[protected] to enquire about case ID CPC 503/12. This CHauhan fellow asked me to call Shubhendu Mahapatra at[protected]. When I asked this Shubhendu what is the matter and why I have not been intimated earlier by mail and why this sudden phone call - he claimed he had sent SMS - I said I was not in the country last few years and the ph was switched off - and last few months I had the ph with me I had not received any such sms. and if they had my address on file why did they not send me any notice on mail if an amount was pending (this was a consumer durable 0% loan I had taken in 2009 and had set up ECS payments - I had thought it was settled long ago) - he asked me to go to the bajajafinserv website and kept holding the phone till I paid online 7141 and then asked me to mail the recipt to shubhendu.[protected]@bajajfinserv.in. When I paid the amount and sent him receipt he said nothing more will be required from my side.

But next day again I received similar call - this time from SATWANT SINGH CHAUDHURI[protected] threatening me that they have a case no CPC 204/13 and I should call advocate A K SHarma at [protected] for details AND REVERT BACK IMMEDIATELY. I told him that is this regarding Bajaj Finserv they said yes. SO I told them I have cleared the matter and gave them the online receipt number MICI[protected]. When I called Shubhendu Mahapatra again he said he had forgotten to tell the lawyers yesterday and he had received my email, and I will not be called again. I called the advocates A K SHarma and Satwant Singh again and informed the same. But today I receive an email from a friend saying he has been called and being threatened to as "co-conspirators" in a fraud case with me. I also check the bajaj finserv site and I see again an amount of 217 pending against my loan account 4100CD00015184.

Can anyone tell me what is this going on ?
Guys this is a scam going on, please do not respond to these, contact the loan company directly.
Guys what will happen if loan amount(2500) is not deducted from bank on given time due to low balance so what will be the penalty or bajaj finance will close my account with bad records maintenance .. Please reply fast ... :-
Using no cost emi option. If I purchase any product through flipkart the emi fo 12 months, then if I cant able to pay within this period means whats the action taken by bajaj team then what is the interest for approximately 37000 rupees product taken for 12 month emi means?
I am feeling very bad about getting cheated by Bajaj Finance. I had a loan where I made the total payment. However, I was never told that there was a late payment charge and check bounce charges.
They kept on increasing the charge every month and they want to charge 5000 now. The LN ID is 4040CD00418210

Guys, after 3-4 years I am getting a call that I have a due amount and being multiples every month. Can someone from consumer complaints help me to have this amount waived? Is there a way we can help others know this as this should not happen with anyone else.

I stay in Bangalore and I really want someone's help to resolve this. Please suggest ways.

Thanks in advance.
dear sir
Hello sir i am amit from Bhopal and i am a customer of bajaj finserv. i want to know that what is a ecs bounce charge when finance amout was 10990/- and installment is 1570/- so please tell me what is a ecs bounce charged for me by bajaj when one installment was bonce on my account.
Guys,
please be careful with Bajaj finserve. They charge heavy bounce charges of emi.
There team are not having any knowledge.
I belive they apply any charges according to their wish.
Rs. 3000 implied on my home loan emi bounce. Anyhow they waved off the charges but isn't it too much.
Be careful.
I have two loan accounts with Bajaj Finserv : 4040CD49817853 and 4040CD70226929. I have been deducted 590 rs thrice and 450 extra (Total 590 +590 590+450= Rs. 2220) between 3-5 th July in my IDBI bank account which is a three times penalty. I would see this as an invalid penalty as I deposited the payment in bank on 3rd July (due date)in the afternoon and also still penalty levied on me. Without even a support executive calling me or stating what time the auto payment is initiated, they have levied all these charges which have spoiled by cibil record. Also every day they are charging this penalty in my account without any prior intimation. This is a case of customer harassment and unprofessional misconduct to extract money and I will like my penalty charges back.I have already lodged a complaint in consumer court and expect to bring this illegal practices company to justice. Please refrain from taking any loans from Bajaj Finserv.
