[Resolved] Bajaj Finserv Lending — Incorrect Linking and harassment | |
I had a very bad experience from Bajaj Fin Serv Lending. Unfortunately, I have taken a loan for consumer durable from them. They have very happily linked another loan, which was never taken by me, to my account and started calling me to pay the dues. I sent communication with this regard to grievance cell and they never respond. I did not find such an irresponsive grievance cell in my life. I still got calls and SMSes with regards to this and harassment. Finally in June 2013, they responded with apologies stating that this was a technical inadvertent error from their side and I won’t get any calls. Interestingly, I still got calls. In July, they went into an extent that someone calls from Delhi Police and say I am filing an FIR because I did not respond to couple of Delhi court notices, which I never received (I am sure they were never sent). Upon follow up again, finally, they send me NOC for a loan which I have never taken. Please be aware of these cheap tricks this company plays and be very careful while taking a loan. Thanks. I am aware of this. The question I have is, how can a loan taken by someone be wrongly linked to me? That is the worst thing that can happen. You may have to review this case and improve your processes so that clients like me are not harassed for no fault of theirs.
