[Resolved]  Bajaj Life Insurance Co. Ltd — Complaint against Insurance agent

Dear Sir,
I have a Capital Unit Gain Policy with Baja Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd. done through an Insurance agent. My premium falls due on 8th march of every year. The last premium was due on 08.03.2009.I had already paid the premium amount to the agent in Jan'09 through a cheque. The cheque was encashed but the premium is still not paid. Recently, I received a letter from Bajaj Allianz stating that the policy stands lapsed due to non-payment of premium. Similar delay was made by the agent during the payment of the second premium (which was ultimately deposited by him on 28.04.2008. Several attempts to reach the agent through phone calls have been in vain.

I will be highly obliged if you can help me in tackling this issue.
