from shriram bajaj thane branch . I had met with an accident a year back due to that i had to replace
my fearing from ur authorised dealer itself but there is some problem the fearing has some irritating sound for which i have
complaint to ur dealer many a times but they just do some taping & give it back & that problem is not yet been solved. I had
also spoken to the consultant person (mr ambekar) over there he says our company says to only taping so therfore i kindly
request u to plz look into this matter & kindly do the needfull

    I have brought a bajaj pulsar 150 ,7 months ago. Intially there was problem of gear box for which i have insisted them to change it during my free service or do something permanent solution to it . But every time they used to excuse me by telling don't worry it will work. i am a working professional so i have less time to visit a service center but to change this gear box i have visited 3 times to the service center and each time they give me some excuses.Finally they have changed the gear box but the problem is not solved. It is also showing the same problem as of previous. The service people are not good too. I have brought a motorcycle from them but when the questions comes of servicing they act as if they have done there job & i have to run behind them for my work. Is this kind of service what the Bajaj company gives. After changing the gear box i have told them that it is not working properly still then they have not paid any attention to me. simply they are telling it will work. I am getting frustated to this type of servie.

    Dear sir, Madam,



    its about the complaint against the Dada Motors Jalandhar Bajaj Dealership . i was servicing my own bike from last 7 months under the special scheme ( royal service of Rs.650 ) from last 4 months bike was stroking, there mechanic jaspal singh was saying that the problem is in the pisten kit. but they were saying its not the problem of pisten kit, from Dec-08 . i feel the engine oil of my bike consume the engine oil, i was concern my problem with Mr. Mandeep Singh he left the job from there after him i was concerned my problem with Mr. vipin on Dated 01/03/09 and he was saying thaht this time we will full the bike"s engine oil 1 ltr. and we will chek on dated 16-03-3 if the oil will less more then 200 grms then we will change the pisten kit in Gurantee with no cost, when i was visited the Dada Service Station at Jalandhar then mr. Balwinder was saying you will bear the full cost of pisten kit. it will not be in Gurantee.



    Dear Sir/Madam i m waiting for ur decision right now, what should i do ?? i m waiting for ur response.

      I am Chandrasekar from Coimbatore - I have purchased the bike at September 2007, Within 2 years my is becoming a vibration, engine noise, gear box noise is very much, i have consulted to bike workshop and mechanics, they told the all pulsar have the same type of noise sir. and then my bike not running steadily on the roads, on roads it will run one side at right, so iam unable to drive for long,so anyone give a suggestions ,

        there is a problem with my bike's self start i have replaced on way clutch of my bike for the first service it cost's 900 approx , and again i lost it .such a worst spares that the bajaj is producing.

        I do agree to the above mentioned post, I faced similar issues, and I suffered a great deal particularly with the on way clutch, and it was finally fixed after a period of one month. Another issue was said to be resolved with the replacement of the CDI Unit, it is with the self start system, as there is no kick start facility in this particular unit, I think Bajaj should have taken more care about it, as it is the reputation of Bajaj which is at stake.

          I purchased bajaj discover 125cc on 21 nov 2005 after 3 years my siencer got rusted and generated huge noise from silencer. I came to know that the whole silencer is rusted and needs replacement and it may cost around 4000 bucks . I really cant under stand such a reputed company is using low graded material that it fails in three years..??

          I fully agree with above complaint of Silencer Rusting, I faced the same problem. Even Chain Set of this bike is frequently getting loose & making a noice in chain cover.
          We are facing unnecessary maintainance cost towards this bike..

          i too agree with the complaint of silencer rusting and chain getting loose very often...my bike is only 3 yrs old...
          evn m facing the same silencer problem...n my bike is 4 n half yrs old.
          I completely agree to the Silencer rusting issue.
          I too agree with the point. Both the issue reported in this discussion, I also had. The silencer got rusted and gone. My bike is 5 years old in that two times changed chain socket and 1 time chain set. the chain issue is common in Bajaj vechicles..

          Other than that, I love the discover 125 bike..Still after 5 years of rough and tough use, after with a service its still good..until now there was no engine work or any other work done..It gives good mileage after service > 50..

          Bajaj Discover 125 CC never gives mileage greater then 45 KM...
          I also agree with this. I also have the Discover 2005 Model. I also have same problem with Silence and Chain set and also time chain given nose soon after adjustment. But I wold like to attention to all readers that my bike is now 7 year old(Run aprox 70000 KM) still no engine work done, no spark plug change and no clutch plate change always start on first kick.

            sir,
            iam ASSRUDHEEN.M.M. I an using bajaj pulsar150cc old model( not dtsi engine), 2 months before that had a complaint... i checked my bike that time technition said the coil of the bike was complaint.. iam search the parts in all show room ( kerala especialy thrissur). now i cant use my bike.. plse inform a proper solution for the problem... otherwise i sell the bike...

              Bike not start in rain conditon

              Sir,

              I have purchase a bike (Pulsar 150) from Shiva Auto, Site 4, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad after purchasing 2-3 months some problem occurs in my bike likes paint chipping in fuel tank i visit Shiva Motors a person look and advise me its a minor scrach in your side but after one month i found some chipping mark time to time then also visit Shiva motors Mr Sudhir (Manager) Advise me pls talk to Mr Agarwal Bajaj Person at this...

              I purchase a bajaj bike in october2006. it is running well but in the Rainy season than some water is logged in roads. it gone off. no ignition is working. where all bikes and scooters running well. i checked it many times in agency. they checked and find this problem but after next season the same problem happens on my bike. it happens 2-3 seasons. i had not get permanent soution for this.
              I request to bajaj auto for Correct this problem.

                Hellow Harshad here,

                This is regarding my Bike's speedometer problem. As per Bajaj Customer care instruction I had checked my bike at Sai Service Centre.

                They repaired speedometer but still I am not satisfied with that.

                Their final design is ; this problem will be solved by replacing Front Brake Drum panel.

                Due to that FAULTY brake drum; speedometer cant work properly.

                I got some important information regarding this problem is as given below...

                1) Company has modified design of that FAULTY brake pannel in Sept 2006.

                2) I had purchased bike in June 2006.

                3) I had done Free services at Shree Seva Service centre. And I had complained many times about speedometer.

                4) At company service centre no one was capable to detect this problem at that time. I came to know about modifications
                now after 3 years.

                Now my bike is out of warranty. If I got this modification information at that time I would not suffer from this problem . Now ShreeSeva Service Centre & Company is totaly responsible for this problem.

                If company is providing Faulty Parts on bikes and we are
                not aware about modifications then what Means WARRINTY Period ????????????? & Customer satisfaction.

                * Service Bulletin A : 140 30 th Sept 2006

                * Sub : Modifications of Motarcycles

                * In this Bulletin point No. 4

                * Modification on Brake pannel

                * Old Part No. DD151013 & New Part Number : DZ 151030

                According to this details company had provided FAULTY front Brake pannel till this modification. After this modification it's company's responsibility to inform customers through Authorised Service centres.

                IMP: Please note I had Purched my Platina from GEMS Bajaj Chinchwad.

                  I have purchased Pulsar 150 CC on 23.08.09 from Bagga Link Pitam Pura, having registration number DL8SAU0578 for the down payment of Rupees 26,080/- and the cost of the bike was Rupees 64,003/-. Hence the remaining amount i.e. Rupees 37,923/- which should have been the principal amount of finance but the principal amount was taken around Rupees 40,000/- (approx)and later on asking from the concerned A/C department they referred us to the main branch in Karol Bagh, New Delhi where it was stated that the difference amount is for the processing fee, H.P charges etc but whereas the the amount of Rs 64,003/- already included the H.P charges.
                  On the date of purchase of the aforesaid Bike no such charges were told to us by the Bagga Link, Sarawati Vihar neither they were themselves aware of this differential amount being charged by the Consumers.
                  So because of misrepresentation and non concealment of the actual charges I have to bear this extra charge which was named as processing fee and other charges by the representatives of Bagga Link and in addition to that I have to bear two years interest on that charges which is not at all acceptable to me.
                  just because of non concealment of the fact by your representatives I have been charge not only with the extra cost but interest for two years on that extra cost which is completely inacceptable to me.

                  I bought a BAJAJ DISCOVER DTSI100 on 15.07.2010, at JAI BAJAJ Tambaram sanatorium.
                  My vehichale Reg No is TN 22 BT 8592, Form the beginning, my bike given low mileage only 50 kmpl, I reported this matter to the service manager at on my fist service, he tolled me that automatically increase after 5000 km run out. But I done my second service on 5000 km exactly
                  But my problem is not solved still after 7200km today.
                  On this same matter I complaint to the service manager at several time they never attempt to correct the problem and one Mr.Saravanan mechanic (awarded by you as a best millage maker) Never believe my words an he advise me to drive proper or drive any other Bajaj discover to test my driving capacity, I ask to take my bike to mileage test he told me that pay Rs.2000/= is possible to take test I am not expect 100 km jus 80kmpl is enough.
                  I request you please advice your above dealer to attend my problem immediately.
                  On this above subject I am not satisfy with you vehicle.
                  I declare this if your service center not correct my problem within a week form this letter
                  I going to handover my bike to your sow room and go to claim my money still what I paid
                  And advice to my bank to stop the EMI

                    Good morning,

                    Facing the acute problem of treating the customers as dogs.. kalyani bajaj is a dealership to be avoided, for any kind of purchasing activity. I reiterate, avoid it for plain simple reason that the response from the staff, the manager is absolutely lukeworm for any kind of an appeal/problem.

                    i had booked a bajaj pulsar 180, blue color on 7th august 09. ( I booked the blue color, but the first negligence, they themselves never wrote down my color preference ). I was promised and assured the delivery within 2 weeks. They were supposed to call and inform for any kind of contingencies. Never got a call. After 2 weeks, I called them up and after heavenly 5 transfers of the call to 'god knows who' executive, i was told to wait for another 1 week, and they promised to call back this time.

                    While I called again, i was transferred here and there amongst people named john, gayatri, sulekha and others, but in vain. Again a wait for 2 weeks.

                    I was contemplating cancelling the order and approaching some other dealer. I asked for the booking amount refund. They understood there was a point so, tried being sympathetic and promised to call back within a day or two. Never did i get the call back.

                    Ofcourse, the irony is that they did get the stock but never remembered to call back. Totally lost out on patience, ( wouldn't you be? ) I called and refused to talk to anyone except the manager. Reached the manager Mr Prabhu, after I heard, and again refused the claimants of the call to be those so called ' sales managers'.

                    As I talked to him and told him about the whole month long drama, ( It was 3rd of August ) he confirmed, that the lot had arrived, barked on some of the executives and tried to cut a sorry figure. He assured the delivery within a day, all when I confessed to him the way his staff was handling the customers, where I had to explain that in their business, 'customer is the king'..

                    The very next day I reached with all the formality documents, as well as the cheque with the full amount printed on it. The date is : 2nd September 09. The receipt number is 5283. Then again, he told me the delivery should happen only the next day, as RTO registration is required. Course' I understood. I asked them in the meantime to check the cheque and confirm with the bank that it has been cleared. And I made it a point to ask them now and then by ringing them up. Lukeworm response again, with a reply ' We are not the owners of the bank to do that..' - By Mr Prabhu, the sales manager. ( Or thats what he called himself to be.. )

                    Now, on the final day when I am supposed to get the delivery, that is on 5th September, I AM BEING TOLD IT CANNOT BE DONE AS THE CHEQUE HAS NOT GOT CLEARED. Prabhu, the manager now says that unless that happens, he cannot register the bike. And, I will have to wait for another 3 days.. That makes it perfect 1 month to the holy drama.

                    This kind of a treatment to any customer cannot be taken in a light way by the management. If that happens, an appeal to the consumer court as well as the higher top management is to be made. Which surely, will happen.

                    As in the service Industry myself, we are taught the first lesson to understand, that 'customer is the king whatsoever'. There is some courtesy required even when you have to convey any simple statement, to retain the customers and maintain some goodwill.

                    I can only hope, that I get my total money back when I go and take it from them, or get the timely delivery of the bike with due apologies from the management.

                      ENGINE NOISE

                      I had purchased a Bajaj Pulser bike on 16.01.2009 from HARSH AUTO CARE, Rewari (Haryana). After Six Months in this bike a technical problems are coming like a diffrent kind voice in engine. Then i have talk to Bajaj Service Center (Harish Auto Cares, Rewari) and their technician ask me don't worry please enjoy the riding its nothing. After some time i seen that the voice is increasing then i visit again at

                      Complaints regarding worst bike service and the quality of the spares of bajaj pulsar.

                      Hi My name is K.Kavi jayaprakash . i own a pulsar 150cc i bought this bike on 2007 jan .
                      the bike has a warranty (Extended) till 2011 jan.
                      till date i use to service my bike in bajaj show room vellore(VDS SAYAR).
                      The maintainance cost of my bike is average of 900 per month.
                      They will be changing the parts and charge me 1000 per month.
                      even then im satisfied to pay the money for my bike but the worst part is the quality of the service.
                      VDS SAYAR Vellore is the main dealer for bajaj in vellore. They doesnt have good Mechanics who has good knowledge about the bikes.
                      They doesnt even have receptionist who knows about the policies of the replacement or about the rules and regulation of the warranty.
                      Every time if a spare is to be changed i had to fight for the warranty.
                      And every time i need to explain about the warranty and what it means to them.
                      Am i a trainer or a customer.
                      If im paying for the new spares all the work will complete in a day.
                      If i want the same spare to be replaced with warranty Then comes the problem.
                      I have to call customer complaints. Have to wait for the reply from Customer Complaints.
                      After that the Dealer(VDS SAYAR) has to wait for the new spares for a week. after that they will replace it with very hard feelings.
                      why this happens when it comes to warranty alone.
                      bike with maintainance cost of Rs 1000 per month is it worthable.
                      and even if you do all service in Bajaj Show room you will not get spares in warranty.
                      Where is the word Customer here.
                      Hamara bajaj song is good so we can give a award for the song , But Getting an award for Customer satisfaction.
                      Bajaj Management should take Necessary action regarding this and they should teach their dealers about Customer Care.
                      And they should teach them what the customer satisfaction should make a difference.
                      Even now i let my Bike fro service . Engine fault They said(VDS Sayar ) They will call me. i left my bike on saturday evening.
                      i didnt even get a call till tuesday and i have to call them now.
                      18 th aug i did service . the left indicator sensor was not working. after the service the right indigator sensor also not working.
                      this is the best example for the service.
                      Still waiting for response form bajaj(VDS SAYAR).
                      they will say they wont replace the engine Under Warranty. have to Call Customer Complaints.
                      every time i have to call Bajaj customer complaints to make things work.
                      Is there any way to take action against this .
                      or is there any one we can make a complaint about this.

                      I bought my bike in 2006 and ion the first service the dealer replaced the new battery with faulty then i spoke to dealer then bajaj company no one was responded in proper manner.

                      BAJAJ is atupd guy who is runnung a FAKE bussines by cheating like this because his support encourage dealers to do because if he acts on one complaint then every think will be in well but this guys are JUST CHEATERS

                        Dear Sir,

                        I purchased a Bajaj XCD 125 from M/s Popular Wheelers P Ltd, Ahmedabad, on finance from ICICI Bank Ltd, Ahmedabad. in Nov-Dec 2007. I have also completed the loan payment. As I had not received the RC Book, on repeated queries to M/s Popular Wheelers P Ltd, Ahmedabad, they assured me that I would be receiving it shortly. But one fine day, when I went to their shop, I was told that M/s Popular Wheelers P Ltd had closed down, without leaving any trace. That M/s Popular Wheelers could vanish that too taking such an important document with them was unbelievable. I contacted M/s Bajaj Auto Ltd ( on toll free no.[protected] who gave me aComplaint no. 10581, about two months back. I reminded them twice on phone but of no avail.

                        I am baffled to note that M/s Bajaj Auto Ltd could be so careless ! Is this the customer service they are proud of ? Mr. Rahul Bajaj, please listen ! What do I do now? Run pillar to post to the RTO for a duplicate RC Book ? Why should I, for the fault of theirs ? Who will pay for the time and money and harassment?

                        I urge you to please put forward my message/complaint to the company to wake up from the slumber.

                          Dear Service Provider
                          I have purchased Bajaj Platina dated 28 Oct 2007, No. HR26AN725Vehicle Reg. 6, from the showroom Sri Ram Bajaj Auto Service, Badshahpur, Kaderpur, Gurgaon, Haryana – 122101.
                          As per my information and also mentioned on the warranty card that the bike is under warranty period for 2 years or 30000km, whichever occurs earlier from the date of sale.
                          Currently my bike has covered only 12500km and 1yr 9 months old, so my bike is under warranty period in both the conditions.
                          On 22nd July 09, I went Krishna Auto Sales, M-33, Old DLF, Sector 14, Gurgaon, Haryana – 122001, for the regular servicing of my bike. There while servicing I came to know from the service provider that my bike’s front shock absorber in not in a good condition and needs to be changed.
                          After that I have requested from Krishna Auto Sales (Mr. Pankaj (Technician)) to change the same but they have ignored my request and given me the reply that yes your shock absorber is in warranty period but we can’t change your shock absorber because we are not getting any supply from their vertical that’s why they will not change.
                          Now kindly let me know that where is I am faulty that I should suffer for the reason.
                          If you people could not provide the service as and when required by the customer then why it is mentioned by the dealers as well as also mentioned in the documents that so and so facility the customer will get if he is purchasing the BAJAJ product.
                          It was my perception that Bajaj Auto is providing better service in comparison of other Auto service providers in this nation but now I am thinking that I was wrong.
                          Kindly let me know that whether my perception regarding Bajaj Auto is correct or wrong.
                          Because it is matter of trust and relationship which me and my family is having with Bajaj Auto, so kindly revert so that we should be able to correct ourselves.

                            mileage,gear,and disc problem

                            i m suffering from mileage problem...my bike gives 29.76km/l average mileage, where as at showroom they said bike will give an average mileage of 55kmpl (highway mileage)...my bike gears stuck, n make noise, my bike isn't able to accelerate, its high speed raises to 97 kmph...not more then that...i have visited service center 6 times in 2 months, but no one helps, no one listens to me...HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELPPPPPPPPP, i need BAJAJ TO help...

                              Hi I am Dinesh from Madurai, Tamil Nadu.I bought a pulsar 150 the last year(september).I am really unsatisfied with the services done for my bike...During this past one year i have changed my Clutch Plate and Brake shoe...I really don't know the reasons why my bike s getting some problems periodically and i am the only person handling my biket...Instead i am getting many problems...the answers were not given properly by the service center...I am really unsatisfied with my bike's performance..But i am sure the services done here are worst worst and worst...There was not proper response from the service center...And now here is another major problem, my engine gets heated even after crossing 2 kms to a very high temperature inlcudin My Rear alloy wheel also gets heated even after changing the brake shoe as said by customer service to a new one..But my problem remains the same...I have proof for what all i spend unnecessarily for my bike...Please i don't want other customers to face these kind of problems in Madurai...I am really unsatisfied with the service center...I surely hope this compliant would solve my problem...I please you to take steps...Please..

                              Yes i have so complain about service. There is only one service in Ranchi and poor service.
                              i bought Pulsar 150 dtsi @ jai bajaj, west mambalam. Initially when step into the show room, they treated me very well until i made the payment :-). i was very happy for such a great care they shown towards customers.

                              But i came to know their original face only when i went there for the 2nd service. Then not even look at my face and moreover they were not worried about whatever complaints i raised.
                              its wrong with the clutch cable man ...
                              its just been toooooo tightend ...
                              when it is tightend by an amature technician the byke roars and u will get no pick up n it goes very heated...
                              go to a near by mechanic and loose ur clutch cable...
                              it will solve ur problem...
                              and for the service centres problem...
                              hei man may b u just change the service center...
                              y dont u try the castroll bike zone...
                              the fore men is good there ...

                              Dear all,

                              Last week I serviced my 150 DTSI pulsar at Jai bajaj west mambalam. The main reason i went for the service is to correct the black smoke, mileage and other small adjustments as well. When i went to take my bike back, i was shocked on seeing the bill. It was 1300 rupees and none of the problem was rectified. They are telling stories that the smoke gets reduced after 1000 KMS and all.. Also right now the mileage is only 33 where it was 43 before service. I had requested for a teflon coating, but the bike had its old dull state at the time of service delivery. They started doing the other works like painting, idling, only during the time of delivery. I have never seen such a poor customer delivery in my life.

                              I have all the proofs and bills with me seeking justice.

                                  We are the students in Andhra Pradesh, As advertised, we were fascianted by Bajaj Bikes and haev bought them but evre since our purchase, the bikes started giving problems. Neither the Service People nor the Company people were responding regarding the same since 3 Years despite our mails, letters and walkins.

                                  Their Service center people were practising most drastic unethical practices. They bwere using spurious Spare parts which are claiming Lives of many.

                                  Due to their Indifference towards we here at Andhra Prades haev formed an Association by name Bajaj Automotives Victimes Association. We are identifying various Bajaj Owners who were victimised and area silenlty bearing the burnt and pooling up such people to fight against the unethical practices.

                                  We all wish to bring a strong note of Condemnation to the Bajaj Company to Realise and Rectify its deeds and Indian Consumers are not a Silent Bearers of Burnt anymore.

                                  We have developed a Blog towards the same cause and ever since then were tried to being suppressed for raising voice against their mal practises.

                                  Despite that we were abel to sustain thier pressure and have been fighting for the common cause.

                                  We all wish that rather than their efforts to concentrate on us, if the same efforets are spent on Innocent Consumers. the Community and the Common People be benefitted more.

                                  I am suffering in the hands of Bajaj Auto since the last one month, have been delivered a defective Pulsar 220F by Sai Service, Lower Parel, Mumbai. The bike has excessive vibrations and it heats up a lot. Bajaj Auto engineer refuses to acknowledge the defects in the bike. As per Bajaj Auto, the bike is just fine. There are many complaints of the Pulsar 220F, none solved by Bajaj Auto. Owners silently suffer at the hands of a company selling sub-par quality products. Even hiring a lawyer and fighting it out in Consumer Court is difficult as the lawyer charges a hefty fee. Hope the company shuts down someday and people like Mr. Santosh Ayachit (Service Engineer, Bajaj, Pune) lose their job for cheating customers.
