I have applied for ATM card in March 2010 and get card in may2010, & PIN no. in first week of June. Every time I went to ATM for performing transactions the ATM machine answers INVALID PIN., though the PIN entered is correct. These has happened almost for 8-10 times. When I contact their Card Cell No. they said it is a matter of Branch. I also approach to Branch quite a number of times, the officers at branch Email the details to Card Cell of Bank Of maharashtra at least 3 times now, still at present I have received no response from Bank, and iam still in august not able to Operate account through ATM card.
I have suffered a lot of time and energy as I have to go branch every time I want to perform transaction.

that time, that call receiver told me that your ATM card & pin number has been sent on 8th december
2009.but I, told him that I, action as have not received it.so he asked whether address is correct, is some one is at home, see My telephone bills, electricity bills, every other things comes at right time, my mother, father are 24hrs at home only. so again I, went to bank (kanjur marg branch) on 26 january 2010, and found that My ATM card is in the bank so he asked me to give an writing complaint . so I, had given it on 26 th january 2010.but still today I, have not received My, pin number[protected], now it his been nearly three months.

I am extremely upset over the stubborn and indifferent attitude of the home branch(Nasik city), Card cell representatives and even the call centre people. I have given an application for a duplicate ATM card but no follow up work is done. Typical government babugiri is shown by the lazy and self centred employees.I am going to go for a hunger strike in front of the home branch unless I get any positive response.
Its is a very pathetic bank...serviices been offered by them are totally [censored] all I do have an salary account in the bank.but suffering from these toes of services. I have started to transfer all the funds from dis bank account t another

I'm Maintaining the account for last 8 months, two month before i last my ATM card and so i blocked that card, and in the customer care they told i can get new ATM card from my branch bank(THERGAON - 853), but still i didnt get my ATM card so its very difficult to maintain, there is no proper response and reply, what i want to do further.

      sir i was loss my A.T.M CARD befor 2 month .but i was call on help line and stop my card .after 2day i was go my branch and i was given a application to issu me a new a.t.m card .my branch maneger told me that my new card come within 15 to 20 day's .but i was go agan to received my a.t.m card . i was show my bank pass book and then bank employ's told me that sir your card receved by branch but rigth now we have no idea where is your a.t.m card .please give us today will find out your card .after 2 day's they are given me same answer .then i was go to my branch maneger MR.NARESH MENGHANI and he was promiss me to he was given me satisfacion . and he told me he will be inform me on my phone .
      but he was not call me . then i was call to MR. NARESH MENGHANI .i was say to him ,sir please tel me what abut my a.t.m card. but mr.naresh given me same answer .
      sir , befor this incident i was prowed to bank of maharshtra ,that i am account holder in this bank . i dont know how is responsibal person to lisan me . (but agar koi sunse wala hai to please mara card d d )my phone no.is [protected] .

        Hi,

        I hold a savings account at the Bank Of Maharashtra, Vishrantwadi branch. I needed to withdraw money from the bank itself as I don't have the ATM card. As the amount was huge, I request the bank officials to withdraw a cheque in my name, instead of cash. But they straight away denied my request without giviing any valid reason.
        I would request on behalf of all the people, who are suffering from this indescent behavoiur from the bank offcials, to take further actions.

                  Sir/Madam,

                  I used my Bank of Maharastra ATM card of Lucknow, Gomti Nagar Branch on May 31, 2010 at SBI ATM at RamRam Bank Chauraha, Lucknow.
                  I swaped the card for Rs 1000/- as a result of which a transaction slip came out saying transaction declined and money did not appear, i tried again but the same thing

                  happend.I thought there is some problem with the machine so i went to another machine where i used my card and came to know that the sum of Rs 1000/- is already

                  deducted from my account when i used the SBI ATM.

                  Bank of Maharashtra — Inefficient Transaction

                  Sir,

                  On 25th Jan 2012, I have tried to transact 10,000 from my account Credit card. But unfortunately that transaction was not fulfilled. In spite of that the statement receipt cleared me that 10,000 was transacted from my account. Immediately I have registered my complaint to Shri Sachin Pawar My complaint No. is 107087.

                    I Roshan Shetty had kept a Fixed Deposit in my mothers name in Bank of Maharashtra Thakurli Branch for Rs.20000/- for the period from 14.02.2002 to 14.05.2010 @8.50% p.a.

                    The maturity amount as per the FD copy is Rs.44000/-. But on maturity the amount credited to my Savings A/c is only Rs.40045/-.

                    The Bank have reduced the income by Rs.3955/- and says that the difference amount cannot be credited due to calculaton error.

                    I have been keenly following up with the bank for getting the actual credit on maturity but the employees & the officials response is too weak.

                    Kindly resolve the matter at the earliest and allow me to get balance amount along with interest thereon till date.

                      I would like to inform you that there is no co-operation from Bank of Maharashtra (Thakurdwar Branch) Mumbai-400002 for pensioner account.

                      My name is Prasad M. Otavakar and i am having saving account in BOM from last 10 years and my Mother having Pension account with BOM also she having saving account from last 15 yrs. From last 5 years she is suffering from Bone Cancer and she is bed ridden and not able to walk, so she is not able to go to bank and collect the pension. So i am going to withdraw a pension from last 5 year and also give monthly Dr. Medical certificate as per the Bank rule.

                      But from last 4 month Bank staff is not co-operate with me. Mr. Jadhav a pensioner officer is refuse to give me a pension and told me to collect pension via money order. I personally go to All India radio and ask is there any facility of money order, they clearly mention that there is no such kind of facility. Event after i ask Mr. Jadhav to give me on paper so i can show it in All India Radio but he refuse to give me in written. Then i meet to a Branch Manager Mr. Joshi and explain the same, but he is also refused me. Even he told me that the Dr. Certificate which I have submitted every month is not a Bank Rule, years ago Bank itself told me that as per rule we have to submit the Dr. Certificate every month. I also request him to send a bank person at my home which is just opposite to Bank for verify the situation but he told me that he don't have staff to send at home and he will hot send a person from bank to my home. He told me to bring a Patient to bank which is impossible. He told me the he will not give me pension from month of May. He also suggests bringing authority later from All India for joint account for pension which is not possible. Also I ask to Manager what are the pension rule for Bed ridden patient, but refuse to give answer

                      I am really Fed up and mentally harassed with this persons, so please look into this and give relief to me and my Mom.

                        I have opened an savings account in bank of maharashtra, nigdi branch on 13 Jan 2010. I have also submitted ATM application form in bank on same date. But still i dont get ATM. When i asked about this in bank, they told me that it will take more than 3 months to get ATM card. But while opening my savings account they informed me that "you will get ATM card within a month". They give foolish reason for late arrival of ATM cards.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I undersigned B. D patil disposited a cheque ( Cheque No. 101644) of HDFC bank of Rs.6000/- at prakashe ( Dist: Nandurbar) branch. I have saving account with same branch ( Bank of Maharashtra at Prakasha Branch in Nandurbar district.). My account no. is 6405.
                              This amount is deducted from HDFC bank account on 22nd Dec. 09. Same day HDFC issued a DD to Bank of Maharashtra Poona branch. (DD No. 35342)
                              Even after one month and 8 days are over still this amount is not deposited in my accountl.

                                  In first 1 to 3 FDRS are jointly with my Senior Citizen uncle Mr. Surinder Mohan Madhok and No. 4 with my wife Alpana Madhok and have given undertaking that we are responsible for any loss of funds.

                                  In the above FDRs Rajneesh Madhok is the first party and Rajneesh Madhok is also the Proprietor of Madhok Hardware & Paint Store, so obviously this is first party loan which should be sanctioned but it is highhandedness of Bank Of Maharashtra that they don’t comply with RBI guidelines.



                                  I approached Bank Of Maharashtra, Phagwara branch to provide me Overdraft limit against the Fixed Deposit Receipts. The tale is as under:

                                  1. I reached the branch at 10:15 AM and requested Mr. Mahajan the Assistant Manager to open my Overdraft account against 100% Secured deposit as Bank’s FDRs have been submitted as security.

                                  2. Mr. Mahajan directed me to contact to the Branch Manager for the needful. From that time the process of harassment started.

                                  3. The Branch Manager collected the FDR receipts and asked me the purpose. I said Sir, I have to operate the account in my firm’s name M/s Madhok Hardware & Paint Store, Railway Road, Phagwara. As from the last so many years I am operating the account as Overdraft in the banks. A few days back I closed my Overdraft account from Vijaya Bank after maintaining it for five years because the Fixed deposits have been matured and I had not having the security of FDRs to be pledged.

                                  4. On submitting the documents I asked the Branch Manger that How much interest will be charged on my Overdraft account. He told that it will be +1.3% over and above the interest you earn from deposit. I confirmed the deal and he received the documents.

                                  5. Then branch Manger asked me you will have to call the second party in the FDRs to the branch. Then he said you will have to provide introduction to the bank. I said Sir, I am the customer of the bank from the last 10 years and it is in your record. Secondly on the documents (FDRs) on which I am getting Overdraft limit are issued in the year 2006 means the deposit has been with the bank and the introduction had also been submitted at that time. Thirdly I am still maintaining the Demand loan account and the balance in my Loan account [protected] at present is Rs 4111/- Plus up to date interest is Rs 28/- Total debit balance is Rs 4139/-. But he not agreed.

                                  6. Then I said Sir, my friend Mr. Naval Gupta had been maintaining the current account as Kesri Sales & Engg. Corporation as Account No. 4, in addition to my security he will give introduction to his Saving Account and FDRs. The Bank Manager denied to approve.

                                  7. Then I asked that the account of Sharma Box factory is in operative, he said No, then I asked the account of Munshi Ram Kora Mal is in operative he said No. Then I said the account of Vinod & Co is in operative he said No. Then I made a call to my friend Mr. Surinder Kumar of Britex Trade Links Old Current Account No. 336 and confirmed about his account, he said yes I have account with the bank. Then I called him in the bank and he made introduction on the documents.

                                  8. Then Branch Manager directed me to bring the Second parties of FDRs. I took my Senior Citizen uncle (65 Years) to the bank branch and he got all the bundle of papers signed including two Stamp papers of Rs 50 denomination (Unfilled documents), and when I insisted that the documents kindly be filled up and the photocopies of the documents on which you have taken our signatures should be handed over to us. Then he directed me to bring my wife Alpana Madhok to the branch. On my request he handed over the papers to be signed.

                                  9. On submission of papers I requested the Branch Manger to fill up the documents firstly then provide me the photocopies of the documents signed. On this he became furious.

                                  10. Then he called Mr. Mahajan Assistant Branch manager to his office and directed him to fill the documents. Then the drama to go to this way to that way started. I kept on roaming from Branch manger cabin to the officials counter.

                                  11. On my request that the documents should be filled firstly Mr. Mahajan said that we shall open the account first then only the documents will be filled. Then account SIF (Something like that they spoke) account opened No. [protected]. The degit X marked might be any other digit like 5 or 3 in 200856x4972 account.

                                  12. Mr. Mahajan filled the documents. When I said how much rate of interest I shall have to pay. He said I don’t know. The branch manager will tell. I said to Branch manger kindly fill in the documents the rate of interest to be charged. He said I don’t know. It is the computer that charges the rate of interest. I said you are the manager I you have to fill the rate of interest before updating in the system. Then Branch Manager called the peon to bring the circular file. Then he keep on searching the contents about the rate of interest which he could not find. At one point he said this is the rate of interest then at that page Mr. Mahajan said that this is the old circular. After all no decision had been made.

                                  13. Then Branch manger whispered something which I could not understand and Mr. Mahajan said come on your account can be opened. When I was told that my account will be opened as. A current account will be opened and the proceeds of limit will be transferred to the current account that Rs 42,900/- and I can operate that account as current account.

                                  14. What a great Bank of Maharashtra and its dodging policies, means your FD accounts balance transferred to your current account in full amount and the interst on Rs 42,900/- started from day one. The bank has nothing to do with it that how much limit you have availed. Means the broad day light robbery. When I objected to this deal. Mr. Mahajan said it will be done like it, then he said that you go to Branch Manager for confirmation. On my visit Branch manger said cancel all documents and we are not to open the account. I said O.K. Kindly provide me the documents duly signed by me. The banch manager not provided me the documents. Then he said we shall provide you the photocopies of the documents. The original documents were given to the peon for get those photocopied but he did not come back after getting those photocopied. I kept on waiting for Photocopies till 5 P.M. but those copies not provided to me. The current account documents which I requested to provide me had been taken by Mr. Mahajan to get those photo copied but he did not turn back till 5 P.M.

                                  15. Though today was Saturday but the branch had been opened and I kept on waiting till 5 P.M.

                                  16. To get the account opened there is another type of expectation from the staff, that is why they people are harassing the customer.

                                  In first 1 to 3 FDRS are jointly with my Senior Citizen uncle Mr. Surinder Mohan Madhok and No. 4 with my wife Alpana Madhok and have given undertaking that we are responsible for any loss of funds.

                                  In the above FDRs Rajneesh Madhok is the first party and Rajneesh Madhok is also the Proprietor of Madhok Hardware & Paint Store, so obviously this is first party loan which should be sanctioned but it is highhandedness of Bank Of Maharashtra that they don’t comply with RBI guidelines.



                                  I approached Bank Of Maharashtra, Phagwara branch to provide me Overdraft limit against the Fixed Deposit Receipts. The tale is as under:

                                  1. I reached the branch at 10:15 AM and requested Mr. Mahajan the Assistant Manager to open my Overdraft account against 100% Secured deposit as Bank’s FDRs have been submitted as security.

                                  2. Mr. Mahajan directed me to contact to the Branch Manager for the needful. From that time the process of harassment started.

                                  3. The Branch Manager collected the FDR receipts and asked me the purpose. I said Sir, I have to operate the account in my firm’s name M/s Madhok Hardware & Paint Store, Railway Road, Phagwara. As from the last so many years I am operating the account as Overdraft in the banks. A few days back I closed my Overdraft account from Vijaya Bank after maintaining it for five years because the Fixed deposits have been matured and I had not having the security of FDRs to be pledged.

                                  4. On submitting the documents I asked the Branch Manger that How much interest will be charged on my Overdraft account. He told that it will be +1.3% over and above the interest you earn from deposit. I confirmed the deal and he received the documents.

                                  5. Then branch Manger asked me you will have to call the second party in the FDRs to the branch. Then he said you will have to provide introduction to the bank. I said Sir, I am the customer of the bank from the last 10 years and it is in your record. Secondly on the documents (FDRs) on which I am getting Overdraft limit are issued in the year 2006 means the deposit has been with the bank and the introduction had also been submitted at that time. Thirdly I am still maintaining the Demand loan account and the balance in my Loan account [protected] at present is Rs 4111/- Plus up to date interest is Rs 28/- Total debit balance is Rs 4139/-. But he not agreed.

                                  6. Then I said Sir, my friend Mr. Naval Gupta had been maintaining the current account as Kesri Sales & Engg. Corporation as Account No. 4, in addition to my security he will give introduction to his Saving Account and FDRs. The Bank Manager denied to approve.

                                  7. Then I asked that the account of Sharma Box factory is in operative, he said No, then I asked the account of Munshi Ram Kora Mal is in operative he said No. Then I said the account of Vinod & Co is in operative he said No. Then I made a call to my friend Mr. Surinder Kumar of Britex Trade Links Old Current Account No. 336 and confirmed about his account, he said yes I have account with the bank. Then I called him in the bank and he made introduction on the documents.

                                  8. Then Branch Manager directed me to bring the Second parties of FDRs. I took my Senior Citizen uncle (65 Years) to the bank branch and he got all the bundle of papers signed including two Stamp papers of Rs 50 denomination (Unfilled documents), and when I insisted that the documents kindly be filled up and the photocopies of the documents on which you have taken our signatures should be handed over to us. Then he directed me to bring my wife Alpana Madhok to the branch. On my request he handed over the papers to be signed.

                                  9. On submission of papers I requested the Branch Manger to fill up the documents firstly then provide me the photocopies of the documents signed. On this he became furious.

                                  10. Then he called Mr. Mahajan Assistant Branch manager to his office and directed him to fill the documents. Then the drama to go to this way to that way started. I kept on roaming from Branch manger cabin to the officials counter.

                                  11. On my request that the documents should be filled firstly Mr. Mahajan said that we shall open the account first then only the documents will be filled. Then account SIF (Something like that they spoke) account opened No. [protected]. The degit X marked might be any other digit like 5 or 3 in 200856x4972 account.

                                  12. Mr. Mahajan filled the documents. When I said how much rate of interest I shall have to pay. He said I don’t know. The branch manager will tell. I said to Branch manger kindly fill in the documents the rate of interest to be charged. He said I don’t know. It is the computer that charges the rate of interest. I said you are the manager I you have to fill the rate of interest before updating in the system. Then Branch Manager called the peon to bring the circular file. Then he keep on searching the contents about the rate of interest which he could not find. At one point he said this is the rate of interest then at that page Mr. Mahajan said that this is the old circular. After all no decision had been made.

                                  13. Then Branch manger whispered something which I could not understand and Mr. Mahajan said come on your account can be opened. When I was told that my account will be opened as. A current account will be opened and the proceeds of limit will be transferred to the current account that Rs 42,900/- and I can operate that account as current account.

                                  14. What a great Bank of Maharashtra and its dodging policies, means your FD accounts balance transferred to your current account in full amount and the interst on Rs 42,900/- started from day one. The bank has nothing to do with it that how much limit you have availed. Means the broad day light robbery. When I objected to this deal. Mr. Mahajan said it will be done like it, then he said that you go to Branch Manager for confirmation. On my visit Branch manger said cancel all documents and we are not to open the account. I said O.K. Kindly provide me the documents duly signed by me. The banch manager not provided me the documents. Then he said we shall provide you the photocopies of the documents. The original documents were given to the peon for get those photocopied but he did not come back after getting those photocopied. I kept on waiting for Photocopies till 5 P.M. but those copies not provided to me. The current account documents which I requested to provide me had been taken by Mr. Mahajan to get those photo copied but he did not turn back till 5 P.M.

                                  15. Though today was Saturday but the branch had been opened and I kept on waiting till 5 P.M.

                                  16. To get the account opened there is another type of expectation from the staff, that is why they people are harassing the customer.

                                    Dear sir,
                                    I have a saving account no. [protected] at Bank of Maharastra branch Rajouri Gargen(1343) Ground floor, J-8/77 G, Nehru Market Rajouri Garden, Delhi.
                                    On 4/1/2010 I have deposited cash Rs. 5000 ( Rs five thousand only) in my account account no. [protected].

                                    on 5/1/2010 I surprised to know missing of Rs. 5000.00 which was deposited by me on 4/1/2010. Bank forbade to provide any enquiry.

                                      Railway booking — UNABLE TO BOOK TICKET

                                      I am unable to book railway tickets on the net using State Bank Cash Plus International ATM cum Debit Card. Kindly help me out.

                                      Iam S.Sekhara rao, Contact No:[protected], iam the solo proprietor of Maruthi Travels and having current account bearing no 2038 in Andhrabank, Chittoor dist Main branch, Andhra Pradesh state, Four month before my ATM was not worked on that when I went to Andhra Bank chittoor main branch, there was no body responded for the issue, and finally the concern clerk said that some technical mistake in that system and he discarded the My ATM card in front of me and said that apply for new one, given one application for new one, later that I filled the application and given the same to that gentleman, from there on wards several time I went to the bank no body responded even for clarification, for the past four months mentally and physically iam facing the problem and even Brach Mangaer also not responded, so far iam not received the ATM Card.
                                      there is no proper service is provided to Customer. Providing for the Name sake and making the customer face the problem and not responding when customer is approaching. So please do the needful at earliest.

                                      I booked the ticket from thanjavur to banglore cy jn for the month of 15-oct 09, but iam getting the ticket the amout was debited from my account sum of 658/-.the pay made through INDIAN BANK DEBIT CARD.irequest you back my ammount.

                                      I have a VISA debit card of bank of Maharashtra. I am unable to use it for online shopping. eBay guys told me that i need to activate it for online transactions. Haven't done yet, but that might be the solution.

                                        with due respect i arvin pattnaik an account holder in bank of maharastra have written this to inform tht the timings o[censored]r bank that is 10- 2.30 pm is very less due which there is and always been transaction problem, which i myslelf have faced manytime.i am a student so i do hve my college and class during ur working hours so it is not possible for any student to do his/her transaction at this kind of short period.so please increase the timing frm 10-5 pm at least so tht there wont be any problem for which i will be very grateful to u ..
