[Resolved]  Barclays Credit Card — Misuse of my informationm and card, bad customer service

I have been charged Rs. 3770 from my account, and to me surprise i have been issued a ICICI lombard policy, what a bank with great services, they issue me a policy without my information, such a bug fraud conduct, they share my information with other financial institution without my permission, violation of KYC policy.
Also to add on there ridiculous customer service, without any toll free number, u are charged for every call and never get a solution to it, i have called so many times but no solution with there uneducated customer care executives, i have got the poilcy cancelled myself from ICICI and evrytime i call up barclays they are not doing even a single effeort inspite my mails and calls,

Now i have been charged with cncellation charges of policy after geting it cnacelled it myself and barclays have helped me in sneding a message please pay your amount by 26th may

I do not understand where should i go and speak so that i get a solution and my hardearned moeny is not been theft like this.

Barclays Credit Card — trying to fool the customers

Hi,
I have credit card with the barclay...i tried to pay my due amount through the cheque before the due date inorder to avoid the penalty ...i verified all the information and i posted the cheque in advance of 5 days...but they are saying that they didnt recive the cheque and they included the penalty amount in my payment...it has been a rediculous customer service ever.

Dont try to fool ur customers!

I have received the Credit Card and co. has make me the Priority Circle. They have promise me to give the Traveling Bags and other Gift Voucher, but after paying the amount of Rs. 5600/- last month and Rs.851/-. but still not received any bags. or vouchers still on date. Now i want the things within 2 days or rather u cancel my card.

Barclays Credit Card — communication barrier on banks part resulting in lowering my credit limit

This is to inform that i am user of your credit card and my first bill got generated around may end or by june begining and despite of many requests no person turned up to collect the bill in cash(I COULD ONLY PAY THROUGH CASH THAT TIME SINCE I WAS THROUGH WITH MY CHEQUE BOOK AND I WAS SUPPOSE TO LEAVE DELHI IN A VERY SHORT TIME).I have shifted my base in july to vapi(gujrat) and i regularly recieved your sms about the payment, however the due amount was much higher than what i thought so, the no. which was mentioned in the sms to contact in case of any query, i started calling but again of no use.Inspite of trying for atleast half n hour many times i couldnt get through the no.So in the end i sended somebody to pay the bill back in delhi which i came to know later that it has reached to more than 9300(had withdrawn 6000 3months ago).i was told that my card has been activated but the credit limit has been lowered.
I would really appreciate if i will be informed about the charges levied and if my old limit is bein restored coz it was not a case of bad intention on my part but a case of miscommunication and accessibility.

Barclays/Times card — poor service and misleading

Dear Sir/Madam,

Few months back barclay representative has call me up and offered the Barclays times card and told me that along with the Credit card I will be getting Rs.5000 gift coupons with which I can go for shopping . I have agreed and applied for the credit card .I have received the Credit card. I have also paid the first payment on my credit card but as of now I have not yet received the coupons and no intimation about them. So please look into the matter very seriously and resolved the same at the earliest without delay.

Barclay Credit Card — Customer Service

I have registered a complaint to the Barclay Credit card customer service stating about the payment i have made on 22/12/2008 and called up the service and gave the reciept number to them and advised i would not like to get charged for the Late payment fees i was advised that it takes 4 days the payment to get credited into their a/c i have nothing do with the date and the time when the payment gets credited into their a/c My duty is to make the payment on before the due date which i have done, When i registered the complaint i was advised that i would get a call back from the consent department and i am still waiting i caled up customer service again to check the status and i was informed that the request is been declined when i asked i was not informed about the request been declined i was advised by the advisor it has nothing do with him why i am getting penalized for something which is not my problem and for my problem again i was advised a late payment charges will apply again instead of sorting out the problem i was advised i would be charged again ...
It seems a regular habit of barclays credit card officers to cheat and fool the card holders in different ways. I too am a victim. I have received my barclays card in june 2008 and along with the card received a set of discount vouchers all of these vouchers had a validity date only till july 2008. so obviously it is not possible for anyone to use their discount vouchers or offers available on card within one month . As a result all the vouvhers are unused and they refuse to give new ones with a longer valid perriod. This is the way they cheat and fool card holders.
Other cresit cards give voiuchers which are valid for atleat 6 months hwereas some are valid for one year . Barclays also should have kept a validity period of 6 months to one years. I think i want to discontinue using this card.

my credit card no. is [protected], i have given cheque to pay credit card bill, but due to bank mistake cheque have return without reflecting any reasion on my bank statnent, i have al ready send own a/c statment to you, but u are not reversing cheque return charges, this is very same full, I have send e-mail complaint to the Barclay Credit card but charges have not reverse by bank, kindly reverse charges for faithfull banking with us.

Barclays Credit Card — Card misuse

Hi

My barclay credit card is used by someone online without my concern, I informed the same to barclay credit card at the earliest when they had not released the payment for the same also mailed them dispute form filled and signed my me. They again asked me to sent the same at the PO Box address courier person did not accepted the letter because of PO address so I mailed it through post and m not having any acknowledgement for the same and barclay people say that they have not received any letter from me its already 24 days past since I mailed the letter to them. Know they are asking for the payment of the same,

Please do tell me what should I do ???

Barclays Credit Card — Bad customer service

This is with reference to my credit card which I got complimentary and they offered a personal loan of EMI.....from the day I have taken this loan I am paying dues online on time...though I have signed a ECS form. But when I received my statement it will carry a late fee and other finance charges. Every time I used to call their customer care and request them to reverse these charges. They it will be done...then next month same story......for nine month i used to call them and get it corrected...when checked why this is happening every month, they don't have a ans. Later I signed my second ECS form. Still this problem is not solved. At last they done most disgusting thing. They blocked my card saying non payment. One of their collection executive came to my home and collected the cheque and told every thing is solved you can pay as normal. But later only I could know that that cheque is not presented nor cleared. Again same problem....even if I pay them its not going to reflect in their system...only pestering call will be there.....later I could know that they have outsourced for all service...that is why what one department does will not be known by other department...result customer like a fool will pay what ever they charge...till they like.
