Barclays Credit Card — Disputed Billing

I have been receiving erroneous bills showing fictious outstanding amounts. I have paid all the expenses incurred from the above card well in time ! However, from Jan.08 to May'08, I have been receiving statements with increasing amounts every month although I have not used the card at all in the first place. I have lodged complaints with phone banking executives at least 5-6 times. Each time they responded that there was no expense visible that I was to pay. Each time they also promised to correct in the ensuing statement. However, this never happened and I am continuously pressurised to pay an amount that is not incurred by me.

Similarly, I have brought this to the attention of the bank several times (8 mails) and each time I was responded saying that the matter is under investigation and we will revert. I wonder, in a simple case like this, why should it take months ? I AM ONLY ASKING TO SHOW THE AMOUNT PENDING AGAINST AN EXPENSE INCURRED ON THE CARD.

3 weeks ago somebody from the bank called up to inform that it was a billing error and no payment is pending from my side. The next month bill was to reflect zero outstanding. To my horror, the latest bill shows an increased outstanding.

If this error is not amicably resolved, I wish to contact bank ombudsemen. As a customer of Barclays in UK, I had very pleasant impression until the credit statements (in India) have started bothering.

I can furnish all the names, dates, times of phone banking executives to whom I spoke. Similarly I can forward all email exchanges till date, wherein I have furnished all the information.

IN A NUTSHELL, I AM CONVINCED THAT NONE IN THE BANK IS EMPOWERED TO TAKE REVERSAL OF PENDING AMOUNTS - EVEN IF IT IS ERRONEOUS BILLING FROM THE BANK. I ALSO INTEND TO FORWARD THIS CASE TO CONSUMER FORUMS THROUGH PRESS DRAWING ATTENTION TO THE BILLING ERRORS AND A GREATER LAXITY TO MAKE SPEEDY CORRECTION.

Barclays Credit Card — You are not given me, what you committed

Dear Sir,

I am raj gupta.I am credit card holder of Barclays bank credit card.
Barclay card launch Barclay priority member life cycle program with cost of Rs.5000 on Jan08.
And offer this plan Holiday package and Leather travelling bag.
I have taken this plan and paid all amounts in Jan08-Feb08.But now I am getting only holiday packages and till now haven’t got Travel Leather Bag. I forward this complains to Barclay customer care about this thing and talk to senior member of customer care many times. Senior member told me that thing would be solved within 7 working days.
But problem still exists.
Please take needful step for solved my problem.

Barclays Credit Card — Payment and statement

They are not sending the statements, even after requesting the customer care.But every month they are charging latepayment cahrges + tax, interest+tax. It comes nearly Rs.1000/- per month.
Clearly requested with the customer care to send the statement for 3 months.Still now they didn't send the statement, but they are keeping on calling and giving torches to me.

Barclays Credit Card — Unjustified billing amount

Dear Concern,
This is regarding a complaint against credit card of barclays which i am using, Credit Card no - [protected] Name of the card holder - Mohit Arora This is regarding that the statement that i get last to last month is carrying late payment fees, which i dont want to pay bcz i had already made a complete payment to barclays on 6th aprill 2008 (That i had drop a cheque >on 6th april 2008 on your skypak drop box) then i get a next card statement which is carrying late pay charges. Then regarding this i made a call in barclays customer care on 17/05/2008 to waive this off, so one of an executive Mr Amit told me i had forwarded your request, and you get a mail with in 2 days that your late pay charges are waived off and your next bill will be generated as nil, but now i recd the next stmt carrying more chargesthen i shocked. As this is not my fault that whenever they recd my payment, i dont know this is due to there payments counters, and due to there leanleness and i am not able to pay any amount to barclays, as i got so much miscommitment from there side, i cant pay a single penny, I am very shocked with a barclays credit card service, there is no reply from last approx 1 month, so pls request you to pls help me out from this problem to cancelled mine updated charges i.e 1308.35 till date, [protected] Regards Mohit Arora

Barclays Credit Card — Credit card payment

Dear Sir/Madam,

I'm holding the Baclays Credit Card. I had made the visa payment of Rs. 10, 000 on 9th July 2008, but this payment has not relected in my July's credit card statement. I logged a complaint in customer care by giving the RBI reference number. Cutomer care executive told me that they will resolve this issue within 4 working days and will issue a fresh account statement and also told me not to pay the due amounts. Before few days I got a leagal notice and also getting phone calls to make the payment immediately. When I again called up the customer care, they told me that they are still working on the complaint. I'm planning to log the complaint agianst Barclays bank in Consumer Court. Will you please advice me on it?

I am also facing problem with Barclay Bank.

After regular follow ups with customer care executives based at Gurgaon office. I was told by Mr. Prashad, Office of Head Service
Barclays Bank PLC India, that within 07 days I will be receiving call from concern deptt. and my bill will be get corrected, but I did not receive any call from your concern deptt. till date (15 days has gone)

Yes, I received current month Bill dtd. 21 Oct, which contains late payment fee against last payment.

See, Untill the bill corrects, I am contiously receiving Server Based Calls and SMSs which deturb me a lot.

This is really not fair.

Barclays — Barclays Credit Card

Hi.
I have applied for Barclays Credit Card one year ago.
I got a message that my card is dispatch through blue dart
But till now i have not get my card and any call related to this issue from any one.
I had made some call to the customer care center but did not get the response.
so I think i don't want any card from this bank and please return my all documents
