[Resolved]  Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd — subscription

I had subscribed to this company for femina & top gear magazines on 16/7/11 vide reciept no.25869 I was promised the delivery on aug 11 but till yet I have not recieved anything The helpline number mentioned is useless with no proper response It is surprising that a company like bennett & coleman is engaged in such fradulent activity.

Sir,
I Mr Subhash Soni has subscribed for six months copy of Times Of india Newspapper along with Mumbai mirror I gave the cheque of Rs 450/- which got cleared on 3rd November 2007 and till today i have not recieved a single copy of news paper i called up hundreds of times and these people keep on sayin me that i ll recieve it very soon but its all in vain, these people have cheated me and i am now planning to lodge a complaint in consumer court can anyone help me what can be done in that case.

Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd — Not Delivering the Newspaper

I have subscribed Times OF India Newspaper in Oct 10 and start getting the Newpaper from 1st Nov 10. But in first month I get only 4 Copies on Newspaper out of 30 copies. I have called customer care number and I get the answered “WE WILL ASK THE DISTRIBUTOR TO DELIVER THE COPY AND YOUR ISSUE WILL BE RESOLVED WITH IN 24 HOURS". But after following 5 continues day I got only one copy and again did not deliver the copy, I called the customer care approx 15 times but every time I get only one answer (WE WILL RESOLVE YOUR ISSUE WITH IN 24 HOURS". The worst service I faced from one of the SO CALLED "BEST NEWSPAPER”.

Can some take care on of this complaint? My Order Number is: - NAE-034863

bennett coleman — Delivery of news paper

I have registered for newspaper for the offer which I had made payment for Rs 299 vide cheque no 65116 to BENETT COLEMAN for the delivery of news paper at my residence at West tambram.

I had try to reach the call center no[protected] but no one is answering to the call made.
I had paid for a yearly subscription of lonely planet in June 2011, under a selling drive at TCS, Mumbai Gateway park office - Andheri, which I was suppose to start receiving from August but after umpteen complaints I started receiving the copies only in December 2011. Unfortunately the copies of have stopped in June itself. Since I started receiving the copies in December, I need to receive copies at least till November. I am yet to receive the 5 copies (from July to November). May I know what is the reason of this of abruptly stopping the magazine??? Do we have to keep raising complaints .. I had put one complaint 1 month back and have not still received any response.


Kindly do the needful so that I receive my due copies before I raise my voice in the consumer forum!!!This is least expected from company like Benett and coleman to indulge in unduly treating the customers!!!

Kindly send my due copies at the earliest!!!

This has reference to renewal of my annual subscription for “The Times Of India” newspaper which was already expired on Sep, 13. My earlier subscriber’s acknowledgement coupon book sl. no. was 4215270. To renew of my annual subscription, your local vendor / agent Mr. Haque at Hindmotor location was came to my residence on last week of Sep, 13 and filled up all necessary documents from me for renewal of my yearly subscription from Oct, 13 onwards. In this regard, despite he had collected necessary cheque of Rs.470/- alongwith cash of Rs.20/- as per your current tariff rate of yearly subscription for the edition, but additionally demanded of Rs.50/- to sold a magazine from his own side. As I had refused to accept his demand to take the magazine, he had finally rejected my Renewal Application Form and returned the cheque & cash given by me. In addition with that, he had also intimated me not to renew my yearly subscription in future.

Since Oct, 13, I had informed the entire issue through telephone to your Customer Care Service in no. of times and also mailed the entire fact to the Circulation Manager on 19.12.13. But necessary actions are yet not taken to renew my yearly subscription. Hence, I want to know, what is the actual reason to discontinued my yearly subscription and what type of actions being taken to the local vendors / agents who are trying to fulfill their own interest ? Finally, want to know also your confirmation regarding your final decision wherever my yearly subscription will renew / not ?
