Bharti Axa Life Insurance — Policy Lapse

I hold a Life Insurance from Bharti Axa, which was Mis Sold to me by an Advisor of Bajaj Capitals. He had hidden all charges from me and had also forged my signature in the Policy Documents.
On complaining to Bharti Axa (Kankurgachi Branch in Kolkata), they had also taken my policy documents along with the complaint letter, assuring me that they will take some actions against Bajaj Capitals and make sure that my policy is cancelled. But UNFORTUNATELY nothing happened. They dismissed my case and have not even given me my policy documents back. Since I have not paid my premium because of all this chaos, they tell me that my policy has lapsed.
Is this the level to which an Insurance Company cheat its client, and we can do NOTHING about it???

My 2009 policy got lapsed and when contacted some gentlemen claiming to be from refund centre for Bharti Axa called over fone 2 - 3 time asking for some NOC documents Notary affidavit and a cheque for 15K of which 1K would be taken as office charges and remaining 14 K would be sent back along with paid premiums...all in single breath over phone...No emails...No letters...they keep calling and still I am unable to understand what I need to do...!!!I donno why the company is behaving soooo...
