[Resolved] Big Bazaar And Payback — Complaint against staff : Misbehaviour, abusive, aggressive and threatened to life | |||
Hi My payback card no is [protected]. I had gone along with my wife to Big Bazaar to purchase some house hold stuff at around 0830pm on 03 Ma 2012. The address of the store is : Fun-N-Shop Building, Fatima Nagar, Solapur Road, Pune Fatima Nagar, Solapur Road, Pune. At customer Service desk I asked about Payback redemption points. CSD in charge Mr Vinayak Deshpande was too busy on his mobile to reply and kept moving, even when I tried to stop him. After 10 mins I got a reply from him about the scheme. Then after selecting the items, I came back for redemption value of rs 1000/- and requested him for Coupons. I was handed over the coupons by another employee after 10 mins of waiting, as this vinayak was still busy on his mobile. When I finally reached billing desk, I was told that the coupons were invalid. So I enquired about the same with mr Vinayak. He said the coupons couldn’t be redeemed the same day. I said that he never mentioned this while i was redeeming, he replied i never asked. I asked where it was written in terms and conditions, to which he started shouting on me PUBLICALLY. I asked for the no of his superiors, reply was “call customer care, if you want something. I am not here for you. there is no one superior to me here, do whatever you want to do” and then he suddenly came up with “why did you abuse me”, Not to get more humiliated by your staff, in your store PUBLICALLY I told him “I did not abuse you still if you felt that I abused, I am sorry” Now he came out of the counter to hit me saying “if you didn’t abuse me, why are u sorry”. Some other employees came with him and when I tried to make my way through, he said “we have 250 staff here, you and your wife will not even be found out of this store” (DO YOU GUYS HAVE “THIS” BEST AS BIG BAZAAR CSD, TALKING TO A CUSTOMER AND HIS WIFE LIKE THIS). Someone else came in (must be the store/floor manager) and said we would do the needful, pl be patient. I again requested him that if I had come today to buy some stuff why should I come back to redeem next time, especially if the points have been deducted from my account. In mean while Mr vinayak again came close in a position to hit me and again shouted on top of his voice showing aggressive posture (pointing punches and fingers) “Ye Coupon ab kabhi redeem nahi honge….Ukhaar lo kya ukhaar loge” (These coupons will never be redeemed, DO whatever you can, in a language not to be used with customers, specially not in front of ladies!!). I requested this floor manager to take mr vinayak away, to which he showed his inability saying he was best that is why he was in CSD. I was encircled by lot many people and big bazaar staff were shouting on me from all directions commenting in filthy, unparliamentary language. Then few customers stepped in to help me and got me out of big bazaar staff. I left my stuff there and told them I would lodge a formal complaint against them. My Complaints: 1. If the points cannot be redeemed on same day, why isn’t this thing mentioned anywhere or why doesn’t CSD staff tell it to customers? 2. Why weren't my coupons stamped with store name and location and date of issue, with a signature of CSD, if the columns are meant for these things?? 3. Who gives big bazaar and payback staff right to insult me, abuse me, try to hit me, threaten me to my life, if I ask them about their superiors? 4. Isn’t CSD staff supposed to be available to customer then to be glued to his mobile? 5. I want strict action against Mr vinayak, as he abused us publically and threatened us to our lives. And then with support of big bazaar and payback staff he made it look like I was the one to abuse him. 6. I want an action against big bazaar and payback staff persons who supported mr vinayak, when he tried to hit me and abused me. Please don’t ask me for bills, as I did not purchase anything there, however the coupon no are: [protected], [protected], [protected], and [protected]. I seriously doubt if you would find my coupons in systems, as Mr vinayak threatened that these coupons would not be valid any more. I want email and telephonic confirmation on the action taken against Mr Vinayak, or else I would be force to serve a legal notice to Pantallon Retail (India) and Payback for not ensuring security and safety in their premise and supporting the staff who threatened me and my wife to our lives. Even I have experienced problems with the 3 Big Bazaar coupons. The staff at Kandivilli refused to accept it on the pretext that the validity was faint and beyond recognition during the validity period. When I told the staff that the they would expire in a few days, he told that they can be renewed and extended by writing to the staff at Future bazaar.
I have emailed to them the details of the coupon number and have been in the waiting for the update of the same. Till date nothing has happened.
