[Resolved]  BPL India — PREMATURE FAILURE OF MOTOR OF WASHING M/C

I GOT THE MOTOR OF MY WASHING MACHINE REPLACED ON 25/06/2010 BY PAYING RS. 2250 .00 TO THE AUTHORISED CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE M/S MULTI LINK SERVICES , BORIVALI . THE MOTOR FAILED AGAIN YESTERDAY AND THE MECHANIC FROM THE SAME CENTRE CAME HERE TODAY AND CONFIRMED THAT THE MOTOR NEEDED REPLACEMENT ON PAYMENT . AS PER HIM THE WARRANTY FOR THE MOTOR IS FOR 3 MONTHS ONLY . I SPOKE TO THE OWNER OF THE CENTRE MR. VIVIAN . HE ALSO CONFIRMED THE SAME . AND WHEN I ASKED WHERE HAD THEY CONFIRMED ON THEIR RECEIPT THAT THE WARRANTY OF THE MOTOR WAS ONLY 3 MONTHS , HE HAD NO ANSWER AND KEPT ONLY TALKING AS IF HE IS DOING ANY FAVOUR TO THE CUSTOMER NOT REALISING THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALREADY LOST . THIS IS SO SAD THAT HAVING USED THE MACHINE AND THE FIRST MOTOR FAILING AFTER 10 YEARS , THE NEW REPLACED MOTOR IS EXPECTED TO RUN 3 MONTHS .

I AM SURE THAT BPL HAS LOST IT OUT AND HAVE NO EXPECTATION FROM THEM NOW. LAST TIME I HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE WITH MY BPL TV AND WHEN I WROTE TO TO THE THEN CHAIRMAN , THE SERVICE CENTRE GUYS ENSURED THAT ALL THE PARTS WERE REPLACED TO OUR COMPLETE SATISFACTION .
