I am using the first No from 1995 onwards by a deposit amount Here is one beautiful example the system of working in the BPL


1. Every BPL user in Mumbai must have been aware from last two months there is call drops ie either you call up or you receive calls doesn’t gets voice in one call. At least minimum you have to make two/three calls to get voice connected where as the user gets charged for other 2/3 calls . I had complaint many times to BPL service executive on their toll free Nos. I was only informed that up gradation is going on and will be rectified only in November 2008 end. My question to why the customers should bear the cost of two calls (either incoming or outgoing) for their network up gradation? No body has the concrete answer I was only told it is for all the customers of BPL and asked me to send a email to bpl.[protected]@bpl.com which is noting but a grave yard of emails.

2. Since the call drops was too much on 20th Oct 2008 I went to BPL gallery/ARC centre @ vashi and submitted a letter for their call drops and asked them to look into the matter. To my surprise my both the Nos. got disconnected by 1730 hrs. I was wondering what happened and again visited their ARC centre Vashi @ 2030 to find out the details. To my surprise I was told by their Customer Service Exectuvie Ms. Nelafar @ vashi ARC centres that my Nos. was disconnected as per my request/letter. When I had asked her to read / go though my letter, she felt sorry and confessed that due to pressure of work she did not read/ gone through letter and she thought the letter was given for disconnection hence she disconnected the phones.

3. Then I was taken to their franchise head and since they have disconnected phone they can’t reactive the phone I was given with two new sim cards and assured the same will get activated with all the services which I had. Even though telephone got activated but none of the services which I had follow up for the same.

4. On 12th of Nov I received my bill to my surprise they charged me for two miscall alert charges and bills were divided into two parts and charged twice. I started requesting for the correct amount from 12th to 21st (at least 15 calls all the people including the nodal officer) I got call on 21st evening about the same. Since 21st was Friday and I was out town I deposited the amount on 23rd in Vashi ARC centre. I called up CS executive on 24th around 11 hrs informing the cheque details. To my surprise my phone was disconnected at 1145 hrs for non payment.

5. Again I went to Vashi ARC centre they forwarded request for activation I was assured that it will resumed within 4 hrs. Now it is 1700 it is still not activated when I spoke to their toll free No I was told that vashi ARC has sent the request for activation without bank’s name hence it was not activated. He took the bank’s name and assured to be activated within 4 hrs.?

It appears in BPL no body wants to act my question is
1. What is the action taken for the mishap of disconnection ( twice I had spoken to the floor supervisor on toll free Nos)?
2. Why a customer has to bear the minimum charges for two calls for making a call. Similarly for incoming.? What credit they company is going to give? It is be noted all the BPL users in Mumbai is having this problem how much money they are collecting for this call drops. And no decision on reversing the call drops.
3. I am on Plan 199 which has 200 free calls and 200 free SMS free. No body gives the details of free calls. How It is credited.?
4. Why should not I file a petition in Consumer Court for the lapses, harassments, tortures and losses.?

I am using BPL mobile with "10 ka gang" plan.There is serious network problem and no one is looking into the matter.Always we have to cal twice or thrice to get talk.No voice comes from either side whether it is Incoming or Outgoing call.They are deducting the call charges every time we call although it is there mistake.And recently I am suffering from another problem that many a times they suddenly deduct the balance although I have not made the call or forwarded any messages and many a times it goes into Negative Balance.
plz. cancle u r rental in gang card it is kindly request 2 to bcoz some people face rental problem some not u r not charges eually to all plz cancle the rent

BPL Mobile Connection — Disconnection of Service

Connection taken 9 months back and in use for last nine months.
I am a senior officer of a Public Sector Undertaking (Chief Manager, Bank ofIndia)
Inspite of submitting ID proof and Address proof twice, the company has disconnected the service and inspite of my repeated complaints, not yet restored the connection.
Hence I am claiming a damage of Rs. 50000/- plus legal expenses and other expenses due to damage to my reputation.
