[Resolved] Britannia Milk Bikis — CHEATING BY BRITANNIA | |
I am a Air Force Officer and I purchased 04 Pkts of Britannia Milk Bikis from CSD Canteen at Air Force Station Bareilly(UP). To my utter surprise O1 Pkt was weighing only 75 Gms where as, others weighed 100 gms each. The details of the pack are:- Brittania Milk Bikis Packed on 25/01/09 Lot No. 31138 Bill No. of CSD canteen - 003208 dated 17 Apr 09. This shows the highhandedness of the company in marketing. There appears to be no quality assurance check. This was only by chance, that i weighed the packed, whereas, i would have been supplied several packets in the past of similar type without my knowledge. I approached the company customer care through email and one representative met me and collected the the bill copy and verified the the packet of biscuits and said it is less. He also assured me that company will revert back to me. But inspite of several emails to the company, there is no response. I now think of filing a suit against the company in consumer court. As on 27/12/09-
I completely agree with the complaints lodged by people.
I am a big fan of Britannia cakes, but i discovered a big piece of cloth out of the Britannia cake in my mouth, and its really ironical that how a big company can miss out on hygiene level of their products.
I have already filed a complaint to the customer care and going to do approach Consumer court in case their is no revert from Britannia.

The company must be selling crores of packets of biscuit and if this is what they are doing, they must be making hell of a money by duping the customers. THE COMPANY SHOULD COMPENSATE THE CUSTOMER.
