[Resolved]  BSNL Broadband — Very very poor service

I am using broadband connection of Bharat.Sanchar.Nigam.Limited from past 8 months and i am fed with its problem of getting disconnected everytime,and not getting connection even after many attempts of connection.This priblem is not getting solved even after hundreds of complants.

BSNL Broadband — Bad service and no response from the company

For the last four months I am using bsnl broadband in my home. From the day onwards I faced many problem and also in the last month and current month I am facing very serious problem. The problem is as follows:
whenever I switch on the modem, in the beginning I am able to browse and later after 10 minutes, the connection will be out and dsl line will be off. And it will take again 5 minutes to reconnect.
So that i am not able to do my uploads and downloads of my office work. And this will be very serious in the morning time from 2 am to 8 am. There wont be continuous connection for not even 5 minutes, after 5 minutes the modem will get hanged and then I have to switch off the modem and reboot it. I complaint many times in the exchange and no use. For the last two weeks, whenever I called to the exchange, nobody is picking the telephone. I am very much vexed because o[censored]sing this company's connection and thinking of cancelling the bsnl line.
Please rectify the problem as soon as possible.

me havin a very same problem.. n whats more is.. it also disconnects if my phone is busy... i knw somewhere its fault is wire but BSNL ek aanokhi service.. jab koi prob.. sahi karne ke lia aata hai.. to wo disconnect hi nahi hota.. i think m 2 fed up wid it.. n i wont be usin it any more... can i get BSNL internet through another no.. widout payin any extra...i mean i shuldn't get the monthly charges 4 the no.. m usin just 4 internet...so is it possible..??..
n if not then plez people suggest me some other service provider... wid the service plans
Sir 2 days before also i have registered a complaint that since last week of Feb., 09 my broad band connection on phone no .2711889 is not working, i have talked many many times to 1957 and also to local office regarding this comnplain. but no action has been taken yet.
People sitting in office use to given us suggestion to repair it ourselves, whereas nobody from dptt. has been send to sortout the problem..!!
now the thing is if da connection is not working for whole month (as you can see in your account) why should i pay the rent of BB.
Plz suggest me what to do from my side... shall i go to consumer court for this matter or you will suggest me something...!!
I request you to repair/sortout the problem of BB and charge my rent for the days my BB coneection worked for in a month.

BSNL Broadband — service is very poor

i have apply connection broadband internet 2-3-2009.my connection have started[protected]. but after one day dint work properly. ADSL link dint come.I have go daily two times telephone exchange manesar. but nobody give response. after that i gave written application Head of telefone exchange. am very upset see govt. situation.

at last i will ask everybody bsnl service very poor

BSNL — Poor services from Accnts Dept in BSNL

The following complain i wrote to all BSNL Officers

To all the Sr Decision Making Authorities of BSNL, I would like to share a true services feedback from your end and hope for further betterment of services.

I had registered a complain on 24365 on 27th Mar 09 my compliant no is 2961710 and 2952823 for change of my correspondence address, I have submitted my application in Akola exchange, Akola office has issued a letter to Pune office to transfer the connection to Akola office on 28th Feb 09, ref no: SDEM/ CSC / AKL/ M.TRE/ 25(B)/128. As per the process it takes 15 working days but till date there is no response from your end, I enquired at Pune office they say they have not received any letter from Akola office, due to inter communication problem my case is pending, Now Akola exchange is expecting me to coordinate with Pune exchange and get the needful.

I have a question why a customer should pursue the case isn’t it an inter units communication problem????

The no 24365 takes almost average 25 minutes time to serve a customer and provides complaint no but atleast some one should respond with feedback

Every exchange has its own story, can’t they read information on your website, when I showed the process given on web site I got a feedback the website is very old and had not been update.

I sincerely request you to kindly take corrective action to design a machinery to serve customers properly

Sir past 3 months i have giving complaint regard this, no proper action is taken till now, iam working in bangalore only in week days iam have been using the board band. Iam in 750 home plan, when iam back to home the net is not working, and i have given complaint many times about this no action is taken properly and i also told to change the wire, because the wire is coming from overhead line from 100m. there is an no proper speed, i have requested to change the wire and give in underground still it is not been changed, in a month nearly 15-20 days the net is not working properly always PP down, and also the speed is very very slow, exactly on 28th the net is disconnected for not paying the bill, but for giving complaint there is no immediate action, please consider the iam paying monthly bill nearly Rs.1000 without any use and that is also only for usage of 10 days, this service is really not satisfied for me, please take the proper action as soon as possible. Thanking.

BSNL Broadband — service very poor

IN SPITE OF REPEATED COMPLAINTS BSNL BROADBAND SERVICE IS VERY POOR. CONNECTIVITY IS VERY UNCERTAIN.ALL OFFICERS CONCERNED CONTACTED BUT IN VAIN.

Bsnl Broadband Connection — POOR SERVICE

poor service by bsnl broadband — very poor service by the BSNL guys

hello sir,

i am resident at mehdipatnam, Hyderabad took bsnl broadband connection on combo-299(landline incoming & broadband usage of 1 gb free) offer, broadband has been showing the 678 error from the past 1 week.i am software guy so cant spend much of office time on my personal go's, when i complained to the concerned authorities at the office(airport road, near pillar no:90), they came as if a visit and telling that, may be a technical issue, to be rectified in the exchange, its not fair sir, bsnl collecting monthly rent & if i am not enjoying the product why should i have it sir?i am paying bsnl without using the services.please do rectify & if there any thing you can do me, inform your guys to rectify the problems of the customers.Here is my land line no:[protected], Customer Name:Sravan Kumar Chilukuru, please do rectify the issue as early as possible, .Hope you do the best you can.Expecting a early response from you.

BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LTD., KANPUR — DELAY IN PROVIDING NEW CONNECTION WITH BROADBAND FACILITY

I applied to BSNL, Kanpur for a new telephone connection with Broadband facility at my residence. I submitted the completed application form along with all annexures and paid the requisite fee of Rs. 500 vide receipt no. 23984 dated 23rd April 2009. Our application was registered vide registration no. 51185343 dated 24th April 2009. Almost 3 months have elapsed and I have made innumerable approaches to the SDO, DE, DGM & GM office of BSNL, Kanpur, but I have not been provided with the requested connection till date, neither is anyone giving me a satisfactory reply as to when I will be provided the connection.
Please project my complaint to the appropriate authority so that I may be provided with a connection as applied for.

BSNL — poor services after providing a new connection

i requested for a new connection of landline no.of BSNL at Tihra sub-branch. They provide me no. as given above. There were no. new sets at that time so they provide me a second hand set as saying that when new se3ts will be there they vill change it. After some days i got some faults in that set so i change that set with another. i have this no. from a last year. but up to date they does not proide me a new one set. If i asked them then a service man said that he can not help me if i persist a problem i should have to disconnect and refund my security. Is it a way of talk by him to a customer. He always saying wrong to customer noted so many tine. Please take an appropriate action about my complaint.These days due to some mishappening about 150 landline disconnected. I again going to that sub- branch. but again that serviceman said that he cant help me. so i complaint here regarding that mishappening and nature of that serviceman.
Please do right as it should be.

BSNL BROADBAND SERVICE — very poor service

bsnl broadband service of connectivity is very poor and also not getting speed as per given plan
connectivity is not good, disconnect very less intervals of time, can't use regularly and the time when it is actually needed.
It is worst. Am just waiting to surrender the broadband.
o god save bsnl sacking all lazy employees most of the officials are not giving response on customer complaint to get rectify we have to remind several time .the wonder is private companies are showing full response but such a largest company is not showing any interest to satisfy costomer. last month i had a problem with broadband more than 15 days . just 10 minutes work they didnt turned till 15 days .for the non usage i have given the letter to bsnl to reduce the monthly rent. but again problem .no answer from accounts dept. the officials are getting more than sufficient salary but not showing honest on work god only can save bsnl

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited — Poor internet connection

My Internet connection is lost frequently. When I pay for connection every month, I expect that I will have the connection every day of that month. But I am not getting the service 100%.

I am afraid when I will loose the connection. The BSNL Internet service is not reliable.

BSNL — Frequent poor service

Dear Sir,
I am narrating my experience with BSNL, our national telecom service provider.

I got a connection in Indore in 2001. Since that time my journey with BSNL has not at all been satisfactory and happy. After getting frustrated with them for so many years, I am force to write this, as my tolerance limit is over. There were many occasions when the lines were not working.

In 2003, I took broad band connection from them and during the installation itself there were lot of problems of connectivity and speed. They were trying to blame it on my system that it is not OK. That, I should call any hardware engineer to see the problem. I had to call him paying his fees but nothing worked out. Then after lot of discussion, they brought their system and tried to connect net on it at my place. Still it was not working. Then they changed the cable and things were ok.
( Meaning- always try to blame other party & put him to unnecessary expenses and do not look for their problems, technologically poor knowledge, might is right because we are govt servant.)

After getting connection, there were numerous incidences of slow speed and no connectivity many many times. After frequent calls and visits to their office, the problem used to be attended, to reoccur after a short period.

Then I disconnected the broadband service from Nov 2003 to Oct 2005. Again got connected in Oct 2005. This time again during the course of connection, late in the evening, after they could not do it, they disconnected my telephone line also. Next day when they came to do the connection, I objected as why my tel line was disconnected during the effort for trying to connect the broadband. The SDO was not ready to accept my any argument and threatened me that, he will go without connecting the broadband connection. Then I also challenged him, that he should do this and face complaint from me to your seniors. Then he relented and made the connection.
(Meaning-Negligence about service, behaving arrogantly with the customer even if their mistake because of being a govt. employee.)

My landline instrument was malfunctioning every now and then, they were changing the same again with equally bad one. After lot of journeys to their office and meeting with area engineer who is normally unavailable, I got a new tel after 7yrs of connection, though it is policy to change the instrument with new one, if old one is not functioning properly.
(Meaning- Trouble the consumer to the max extent possible and make beg before them, though it is within their rights.)

The broadband connection was having the same old problem of poor connectivity and less speed, as a result of which my work was suffering and I had to download the site very frequently. This resulted into extra downloads during 2 months and I had to pay extra charges. Here also when contacting again and again visiting the office, nobody was ready to agree that such thing could happen. Some how I made the SDO visit my palce and see the thing for himself. He came but was not ready to accept it directly giving excuses of location of connection box, moisture, etc. I told him the box is lying there for the last two seasons and in our factory there hundred of instrument which were exposed to this type of atmosphere. Then he agreed.
(Meaning- for our fault we make consumer pay extra and never agree to facts, thereby making the problem linger and never think beyond the boundry wall.)

When I used to visit their main area office, we were made to wait unduely because somebody was doing hoemchat on tel, somebody was reading newspaper. My file for refund of rental discount for non functioning of tel/broadband was lying in the file heap of concerned clerk for 8 days but still she has not calculated the amount refundable. She was talking on tel for 15 mts to some of her relative/friend for 15 mts or so and made me wait without any urgency/seriouness about work on her face. After the conversation was over she said, her computer hard disk is crashed so she cannot calculate the amount of refund. After my somewhat displeasure she calculated the amount and said it will be adjusted in the next bill. When in the next bill also it was not adjusted, one of the staff seating in the office said, so what if it is not adjusted in this bill, it will be adjusted in the next bill. The reply was totally nonrepentant and non apologizing. Then I pointed out you have time for reading newspaper, but no time to do the work of the customer. Still no effect on him.
(Meaning- Extra job security and no accountability in terms of time bound working and output. It shows there is extra staffing in commercial deptt. And inadequate and improperly trained staf in technical.)

Again my tel got dead on 18/3/10 early morning and I regd a complaint on your system. No action till 20/3/10. Then I contacted asst engineer he said, it is because of road digging and it will take time. When I pointed out that Airtel cable is running parallel to your cable and it was made functional same day evening. He said donot talk about Airtel. I countered him why not talk, because their cable was also damaged in similar circumstances. Then he said he will see. Again no result next day. Then I was told by him, that he is transferred and I should contact SDO. When I contacted him, he also threw towards me a bunch of excuses for their inefficiency. There was lot of discussions. I had to tell him that you should not think customers are ignorant. I am a chartered engineer and worked in private enterprises of ltd companies under very demanding circumstances. I must see my tel working by 23/3/10. So ultimately by 2.30 pm my tel got working. And you know, where was the problem?. The lineman attended it from the pole. So without diagnosing the problem properly, assuming something else I was made to suffer for 4-5 days.During this course also I had to spend Rs. 75/- per day for 4 days. And the mental agony for this and for the past period at this age of 63
(Meaning- Again same habit of giving excuses, treating customer to be the weak and fool.)

Looking into the above problems over a period of long time, it becomes very clear in what way this and other govt enterprises are working.

I hope the concerned governing officers will take this constructively and seriously and not like any other complaint. You can see the record of my complaints over a period. You will find yourself the page is full of my complaints registered. Still nobody bothers to look into the root of the problem and try to minimize the complaints. There is no system of analyzing and problem solving technicques it seems. It is rather well known and widely published in the media including international, the level of efficiency govt enterprises have.

BSNL — Very very poor service of BSNL Broadband

SIR,
I am a consumer of BSNL base phone as well as BSNL Broadband. I take this connection for study purpose. But often even this 3-4 days a week there is no link. We cant connect to internet. But at the end of the month I cleared all the bill as soon as possible.I do my duty on time and pay my bills why they unable to give us services. Even if I call the to the officer of BSNL but they do not take any calls. Why the do this.The get salary form our TAX.
So i beg to you please pay attention to this matter take hard against the concern authority step as soon as possible.
