[Resolved]  BSNL Broadband — low speed

we are in unlimted package with 256kbps, but we are not getting actual speed.When we gave a complaint by phone to our are je, he is replying that you are in unlimited package with 3300 Rs monthly tariff, because of this reason you will get maximum speed of 256kbps but not exact speed .Actually we have taken your bsnl broad band network connection with your technical persons advise for our SAP software requirements. But it is not working with 256 kbps actual speed.Kindly solve our problem immediatly.

I have the 500C plan, in this plan the broadband is unlimited from 02:00 to 08:00 AM, but when i try to download during these hours the speeds have never crossed 20 Kbps!!!
I am very very pissed off by these cheap tactics of BSNL!

We were using Broad band for the last two years in Bangalore. Initially the package was for Rs: 250 and the speed as stipulated 256KBps was very satisifatory. Last August we upgraded to Rs: 500 plan and the surfing and down loading wer quite satisifactory. It usually touches 212KBps on a good server. This month after we upgraded to unlimited plan we noticed that the speed hardly crossed 30 KBps. After tweaking the IP address/DNS/gateway theres is no improvement.
I hope it is not the business strategy adopted ny BSNL to reduce the speed for unlimited downloads.
If that be so we would llike to know why this was not divulged to the customer. If not please coneect us to an improved slot. I down load softwares very heavily.

Same problem here in Hyderabad for last 4 days. Seems to be DNS problem, because some of the sites are opening and some are not. Interestingly, orkut.co.in sometime opens but orkut.com takes a long time or doesn't open at all.

I have BSNL Rs. 500/- broadband scheme. But from 2am-8am my download speed is 4kb/s. What can I do now to increase the speed.

From last 6 months I am using Broadband.It was really good speed at that time but from last 4 months it is damn too LOW speed. Please IMPROVE the service it is consumers request PLEASE...


BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM MY PARENTS ARE FORCING ME TO REMOVE THE "NET"

Data transfer rate sometimes 5kbps, 10kbps.
In my case i have never seen it higher than 80kbps. Most of the time it lies between 10-25kbps.

BSNL Broadband — Low speed of internet between 2AM and 8 A.M.

I have been using broadband connection of Bsnl HOme 500 C Scheme. For the past 2 months or so the server is totally dead between 2 A.M. & 8 A.M. The speed is just 6 to 7 Kbs and due to this I am unable to download anything. I have given complaints but nothing has been done. After 8 A.M. the server speed is good. So is this being done purposely so that we opt for unlimited plans. But we are paying almost 600 Rs. and if we cant download during the free time then what is the use. Please see that something is done soon or else I have no option but to to to the Consumer Court. I have waited patiently for 2 months. This problem is not only for me but for many broadband users who are facing same problem. Hoping that the problem will be rectified soon.

BSNL Broadband — Speed of broadband is 12 mbps instead of 512mbps

Dear Sir,
We are one of the client of BSNL broad band user and from more than 8 month we are getting the speed of 12mbps instead of 512 mbps. we lounge the complaint to the nearest bsnl office but noaction been taken till date and you people are taking the money of 512mbps speed. So i hereby agian requisting you to take the action on this to resolvr the problem.My tel.no. is[protected].

i have 750 unlimited plan, BSNL made it limited by giving slow transfer rates about 3kbps to 30 kbps.some times my downloads stop in between, because transfer rates becomes zero. please do something.

i am using bsnl broadband since 3 month ..my plan is home 500 combo plus according to which my speed should be between 256kbps and 2mbps but my speed never goes more then 256 kbps ...this problem is since i started using my bsnl broadband first day...i wasted my time, money complaining bsnl officers (sdo, d.e, i.t.s)but no one helped me hence problem is not yet solved..., , ,

i have 750 unlimited bsnl connection. This connection is worst as I know. BSNL is saying this unlimited connection and they quoting that 30kBs download speedm whic I never got it.
Recently I am facing one more problem regarding download speed. Whenever I start to download the download speed I get is arond 28kBs to 26kBs, after some time this speed will reduce slowly and finally will come down to 300Bs or less than this.
I called my times for complaining and there is no proper reply from the bsnl office. Whenever I call, they just ask whether the DSL line/Internet line.
Please help me if anyone knows how to solve this problem...

design — slow speed

i am used airtel 128 kb broadband. when i download the image, that file downloaded by 17k starting and .then goes to slowly 1k or 2k. hence, it will take too more time, even though the file size is 1 mb.
automatically we get unnecessary tension. this problem spoiled their name and to loss their customers, but they are not worried about.
