I P.K. Mukherjee wish to join Mrs. Pillai in condemning BSNL cheating subscribers of Manik Jod Plan by altering the plan as agreed upon between the customer and the BSNL. This action by the BSNL violates ethical trade practice liable for action by the Customer Redressal Forum as also the TRAI.

We know that BSNL is a cheater but recently the authority has crossed the limit of cheating the general public. They gave free manik-jod offer and now changed it to be a monthly rented one. We all should surrender all the BSNL Landlines and all BSNL products in protest against this malicious activities of the Company. BSNL employes and officers should protest against it and save the Company to be deteriorating further.
I am also a victim of bsnl rental charge for manik jod.
I would like to surrender my Manik Jod plan, my mobile number being [protected] as i am also a victim of BSNL rental charge for Manik Jod.

BSNL Manik Jod ( Cellone) — Breach of Contract
BSNL Breach of Contract to Customer ::I m Ranjan Datt.On 8/6/2007 BSN advertised on National dailies that "If you have a BSNL Landline connection, get a FREE CellOne (Postpaid) connection now and cut down your mobile
phone expenses drastically" "For this post paid connection, you need not pay".
However, BSNL has suddenly informed the customers on January 8, 2009 by an SMS
that they will be liable to pay a fixed charge of Rs.40 per month effective from 7th January. This
is in contrary to and against the spirit of the offer. The SMS also keeps provision of future enhancements of the fixed charge.
TRAI being watchdog for Telecom companies, would kindly see the logic of charging something which has already been declared free. Is it not unethical??
