[Resolved]  BSNL, Chennai Circle — New Landline connection applied - No response

I have applied for a new BSNL Land Line Connection with Broadband on 4th July 2007. I still not got the new connection. My question is are we in 60s and 70s to get a phone connections in 3 or 4 months. It is almost 9 Months is over. Is this the BSNL service. Let me have the confirmation to when this will happen? I have applied for a new BSNL Land Line Connection with Broadband on 23rd march 2008. I got the land line and still i didn't modem.
if we call 1500, they are saying that status is remain "in-progress" and they are not giving any prompt response. what will be solution for this?

I am a consumer of BSNL(IIT Madras), consumer no:[protected]. My phone no. is[protected]. For shifting of telephone within the same exchange, I have applied to your Rajbhavan exchange on 13th May, 08( Request reference no: 81257168, Prov AN: 82267034, Dt: 13.5.08) with a request to shift the telephone by 14.5.08. But I am very surprised to inform you that being stay within a metro and that to within IIT Madras, till today no initiative has been taken to meet my request.
I shall be thankful if you kindly take necessary initiative so that the connection will be made at the earliest. I have one more request that due to non-availability of STD facility, if you can provide me some rebate on rental.

Am complaining of my dead Landline, i don't know why are they taking so long to repair the line or even started repair the line.despite of giving numerous complaints i don't where else to complaint and whose taking the responsibility.

iam living in karur district in tamilnadu.BSNL has planned to set tower near my home (within 20meter).It will give us lot of problem because the radiation would affect our child. so we spoke with the concern person but he did not hear my words. As we are navithar community we could not fight with them . pl ease help us to save my family .

WHEN I START TO USE MY TELEPHONE TONIGHT AT AROUND 00.34 HOURS AND FOUND NO DIAL TONE.
I CHECKED MY ABOVE MENTIONED TELEPHONE NUMBER BY CALLING FROM ANOTHER CELL PHONE NUMBER AND CONFIRMED THAT THIS NUMBER IS OUT OF SERVICE.

I have applied for BSNl UDL750+ unlimited plan 256 kpbs on[protected]. And I have not received anything from them.
Then I contacted the office of BSNL Neelangarai.

The one employee told me as secretly." We have received your application we have to be put the phone on within 3 days". But the working person who will connect the line to house. He is wasting time. Then I called him and asked about this. suddenly he came to my hosue within 10 minutes. and he checked all specialities and he assured that we will put the connection within 2 days. But still he is not coming to connect the line.

BSNl is going very bad...

I donno why these peoples even after being paid well, are not ready do their job. I wish that these kind of peoples and their kids never lead a happy life.

I have applied for the BSNL landline with net connection on[protected]. I got the phone on[protected] and the connection on[protected]. The modem was given on[protected]. I was surprised by the response from the BSNL. My friends have told me that it could take about 1-2 months to receive the connection and for modem another month.
I'm residing in chennai.
I don't know about other services and region of BSNL of how they are working. But in our area its very fine. Thanks to the private operators.
