Kalpakkam and Anupuram Exchange are worst in India. They dont even bother to your compliants, may be they are not getting what they want. Only Anna's bill can save the residents.
Kalpakkam & Anupuram residents are most affected by the irresponsible response from the officials of these exchanges. They are not getting any bribes in townships. Only Anna's bill can save the residents
This is true. What's the higher officials in BSNL are doing. They are paid. How can they send a bill which is not working for a month. I too face the same problem. I need to contact the nodal officer. Better BSNL telephones act accordingly.

I too face the similar problem. I had registered a complaint on 6th June 2013 and today it is 24th June. I had also registered in BSNL grievances. I dont think this will also workout. Any BSNL good employee see this and take appropriate action...
Best way to Problem BSNL is throught RTI..

    BSNL — New connection not activated

    I have got new cnnection of Broad Band from BSNL.All connections are completed including Modem on[protected]. I have also recieved Username and password. But the cnnection is not yet activated. I contacted BSNL Office.They told me that there is some prblem from server side. Today is[protected]. Please tell me how many days will be required to activate my Broad Band Connection
    I have applied for a new BSNL connection on 25th of April, however till date I have not got the connection. Today is May 12th and I have called the BSNL office about 20-30 times in this single day to follow up for this connection. I have called them all these days, however they will always say that they are looking into this connection and will activate the same. There is nobody in BSNL office to register your complaint or look into your complaint. It is a pathetic service that the BSNL office provides. The staff demand bribe upfront, they infact told me to keep some amount ready when they visit the house for the connection. It is a shame on such a big organisation to fool the customers and their staff asking bribes without any fear or hesitation. They are delaying the connection primarily to get more bribes. It's a shame to the entire nation that bribes have become the norm of the country.

      sending herewith a ststement on bills raised by BSNL against CDMA data card having phone no.[protected] in favour of me from the month ofits installation i.e. December'2008 to June'2010. It may be observed
      that though the bill was manualy recasted by the Custome care centre at Hare Srteet in the month of May'2009, yet the recasting has not
      been uploaded in your biiling system, as a result the bills issuedafter May'2009 are having discrepancies, so far outstanding amount is
      concerned. I would request you to please recast the outstanding amount after verifying the datas, availablein the enclosed statement, so that from the next month I can have fresh bill without the outstanding amount.
      Hope my grievance on billing system will be redressed at the earliest and I will not be forced to knock the door of other forum to sort out
      my grievance.

        Dear Sirs,

        I have registered for a BSNL Brand Band Connection with telephone to my residence on 26.05.10 vide registration ref. AN 52287830 dt. 26.05.10. When I was enquiring for the delay in installation, concerned officer informed me that the facility was not avilable at my area (Canal Bank Road, Gandhinagar, Adyar). My house is surrounded by educatinal institutes and shops etc. who have been provided with BSNL telephones. The officer also informed me to wait for some time and promised they could arrange early installatin of phone and BB connection. Till this time the telephone connection is given to my house.

        Surprisingly, today I have received a bill for Rs.558.00 bearing number [protected] dated 12.06.10 for the telephone no. 24420661 which was said to be installed on 31.05.10.

        Where was my Brand Band and Telephone connection installed and for which the bill was sent.

        The concerend departmental personnel could look into this and ensure the BSNL Broad Brand with telephone connection is provided to my house.

        We are using BSNL Broad band internet connection . Our Telephone no is[protected] . Last two weeks our modem adaptor Not working . Many time We are Tried to call to BSNL Call Centre . But calls not connected to customer care members . so that we have to contact Kottivakkam BSNL Office ( Tel no :[protected] .But they have not respond properly . Please help us to provide the adaptor immediately .

          Sir,

          It is very painful to see the services of BSNL. I had applied for BSNL new Land Line
          phone connection on 26-FEB-2010.and deposited the due amount Rs 500/- for
          registration on same day(Demand No :-[protected],phone No 2520961). After waiting 1 month I did not get any response from telephone department side. I went there and ask for reason . They told me that your connection attached to wrong exchange(Laxmi Road exchange). and need to reallocate new number(because new exchange Patel Nagar).waiting for next 2 month they had installed b phone and gave new number[protected].Told this phone series did not have internet connection. while I had already told them that I need internet on that connection. They again said New Number will allocate for internet connection.Still this issue is pending.I met concern officer several time but no fruitful result . I have no idea where to register my complaint.

          BSNL — After 2 months, still new telephone connection is not installed...

          i booked a landline with net connection of bsnl on 19 aug 2008 (receipt no. APP917918. & Waitlist no. is KRP / NON OYT GENERAL / 19763) after 60 days of booking no connection installed till now, dated 18 Oct 2008.
          Please help me out so that my new connection is installed as early as possible.

          BSNL Land line Phone — my phone dead

          Dear Sir,

          My BSNL Landline Phone is not working for last 10 day, so please give me any positive response for this. My Telephone number is[protected].
          My phone often becomes dead. I have complaint so many times to local officer but nobody responding me. DP line is laying on the road so that it damaged by passer-by. My telephone is working only 5-6 days in a month. If you are not able to provide the service you may disconnect immediately. Or make quick service to work, I complaint about the JE &AE too,

          From all of them I received a word "Cable problem" - how long I need to wait for rectifying my problem, I am facing the problem since please rectify it as soon as possible.

          BSNL — Waiting for 4 months for BSNL Connection

          My consumer ID is 50835744. it's been 4 months and still i am waiting for connection. I am visiting exchange for last 3 months. But everytime they ask me to wait for 10 days. because there is no incoming. But yesterday i found one of my neighbor is using Broadband. I went to exchange again, now they say it is full. They are just making me fool. I think they need money.

          BSNL Land line Phone — Phone not working since 15 days

          I have a BSNL landline phone connection bearing number[protected].The was dead 15 days back.
          I have given complaint for the same and it is not repaired till date.I have gone to the Trimulgherry Office and complained in person.

          The officials are irresponsible and not attending to the customer complaints.

          Now since the phone is not working since 15 days will BSNL reduces the phone rent for this period?

          We have applied for shifting of phone from old address to new address and the shifting was done on 8th may 2009 and is not yet activated.

          When we called BSNL exchange in Miyapur, every time we call they were saying that we will send the line man today and no body came till now.

          When we called yesterday he did not responded properly and is asking us to make a call to line man Mr. Prasad and tell him the problem. My doubt is by whose instructions he will work either his superior of the Customer.

          This is the way they are behaving with the customers and I demand you to take a serious action on the staff of Miyapur BSNL exchange as we are suffering a lot because of lack of phone connection and their behaviour with us.

          We have applied for shifting of phone from old address to new address and the shifted the number but not given any connection, due to cables are not there.

          We have gone 3-4 times to the customer support centre, the same answere they are giving.

Complain No. was 00429. this complain no is dropped on 08/10/09 with out correcting the phone. I again registered complain on 198 vide complain No. 00457 on 09/10/09. There is no action since that from BSNL to rectify the fault.

          BSNL — Phone Connection not activated

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I have shifted my residence from Madiwala to HAL 2nd Stage and subsequently I applied for shifting my telephone to the new location. (Telephone No.[protected].The phone connection has been transfered to the new location by the BSNL executive two weeks before but it is not activated yet . I have lodged a online complaint but there is no response The funnier thing is that I am receiving bills for this non activated phone connection for last two months.

            Sir,

            The only response on my below transaction was a phone call from a BSNL official (who is not ready to divulge who he is or which office he belongs to) as to whether I have made any complaints. He also told me that he is not going to lose his job because of my complaint!!

            From the very next day onwards my land line of below reference started having all sorts of problems. Earlier I was having only a periodic but chronic interruption of the broadband connection. Now the dial tone is only sporadic and there is lot of disturbances causing voice distortion to the extent of inaudibility and naturally the net connection has totally stopped altogether.

            Why should I not take this for a retaliatory indulgence form the local BSNL!? I also do not mind taking the services from other private providers if you are not able to help me.

            Hoping against hope for your intervention one more last time.

            Respected Sir,

            I have a very long standing relationship with BSNL and I subscribe to CELLONE with JODI PLUS, IP TV and a HOME 500 broadband connection, in addition to the landline.

            I am experiencing a chronic issue with my broadband, which is extremely annoying and inconveniencing. It gets disconnected and reconnected frequently and without any sequence. This issue is going on since October 2008 with me making formal and informal complaints to the concerned, but to no avail till date. The concerned DSL section would rightly say that their area is alright and that the problem lies with the cable section since the SNR value (upstream) at user end is hardly 7-8 while the same at exchange is 16-18 plus (poor my IP TV). In spite of them checking the cable many times, there is no improvement for the SNR value for the past one and a half years!!

            I must add that I am permitted this luxury of repeated attendance only because of a friend of mine with the local BSNL office. However, I am still left to live with my chronic issue o[censored]nsteady connectivity and the concerned office keeps quiet doing nothing. This is unsolicited for from the great monolith BSNL, especially in the current scenario of global outlook for sustainability.

            I take the freedom of encroaching onto your precious time because I am sure that one word from a high official of your status would solve this issue permanently without further delay.

              My telephone number is[protected]. I have been paying for broadband internet facility eversince it was introduced. The quality of the product is very inconsistent; more importantly, the quality of service is most obnoxious.
              I have hundred instances of improiper information, interference by a company called mytv who provide IPTV etc but I will give the latest instance.
              On 18 Jun 2010 I noticed that the internet connection was erratic and lodged a complaint (docket no. 0610/1922). On monday (21 Jun) morning, I enquired about the status of the compalint and was told that it will be attended to, possibly by evening. In the evening I called the callcentre again and I was told that the complaint has been closed!!!! I was livid and so a fresh compalint was regiostered (docket no. 0610/2154). Till now, (22 5.15 PM) nothing has happened. I enquired and was told that I should enquire with my nearest telephone exchange. I said why should I jkeep a tab of which exchange is servingg me etc. it is for the call centre to know that; he asked me to call 1500 to know about my exchange and then I should call the exchange to know the status of the complaint.
              This is frustrating. I want to support stet owned enterprises; I have BSNL landline, BSNL mobile and BSNL broadband; but this kind of qulaity is cauding me loss and will drive me out.K V Sudarshan; [protected]@gmail.com

              Broadband — Inconsistent

              MTNL Telephone no. 22508045. I am facing intermittent internet connection issues since the past one month. Since then i have raised three complaints and none of them have be resolved. Instead everytime I call up to their customer care...they say that the last complaint was closed even without checking with us, if the redressal was satisfactory. Customer care is also very unfriendly...they do not care for any problems/inconvenience being caused to the cutomer.
              I hope somebody in the higher ranks reads these complaints and listens and addresses these issues. They need to change their image...or else people will keep moving away to private providers.

She roodly given answer that, " You must to come here and no reply on phone " I againe requested but she roodly againe reply No any information on phone, you must come here for any quiry. She not given her name, I am singal lady in this dept. You can complain against me any were, I am not bother about.

                        Dear Sir,

                        Wish to bring your notice , BSNL- telephone exchange of Kamalanagar by department of Bangalore telecom district is violating all kind of environmental acts since it is commissioned.

                        The noise levels are so high it is impossible for people leaving adjacent to live peacefully.

                        Residences sleep and children studies are thrown out of gear since years even after complaints to BSNL head India operations.

                        Generators of exchange while running produces sound levels as high as 80 to 90 decibels where in it has to be 40 decibels as per govt of India environment acts

                        Also air condition plants working 24 hours a day throughout the year produces equally bad sound levels of 80 to 90 decibels.

                        Request for stringent action against responsible officers in violating environmental acts of the country ,and to set right whole system as per norms.

                        It is suggested to shut down the operations until such measures are taken.

                        Please allow people to live peacefully and set the standards for others to follow environment rules.

                          Your connectivity has further deteriorated and I, a protagonist of Public Sector, am now compelled to think of changing to some private network, unless some immediate action is taken. It is painful to mention that no one from your end did even contact me and tell how long it may take to rectify the defect.

                          I have two connections from BSNL, viz, [protected] and [protected].
                          I am a resident of 11/2/1-A, Becharam Chatterjee Road, Behala, Kolkata-700034. I am not getting BSNL network connection from my room for about last six months. I am to run to roof or balcony to receive incoming call, Then again these calls get frequently terminated for network failure. I lodged a complain with my Helpline of BSNL ([protected]) but no action has been taken. My e-mail complains to the BSNL Grievance cell, Nodal Officer and Appellate Authority also remain un-replied.
                          Not responding to my complains is also unfair, if not illegal.
                          NORMALLY, I SHOULD GET UNINTERRUPTED NETWORK CONNECTION FROM MY BED.
                          BSNL DID NOT INFORM ME THAT I SHALL HAVE TO GET THEIR NETWORK CONNECTION FROM ROOF-TOP OR ROADS ONLY.
                          As such, I believe, all these amount to blatant breech of contract.
                          What can I do to compel BSNL to rectify the unbearable situation?
                          Can you please guide and help?

                          I am one of the customers of BSNL for more than two decades last, holding tel. connection no. 22423722.

                          In the last part of September, my telephone connection turned dead and, as usual, a complaint was lodged with your automatic fault booking system.

                          Having no restoration of the telephone services, while inquiring on the status of the complaint lodged, I was informed through the automatic reply that no complaint was pending for the above tel. no. of mine. I, however, had immediately lodged another complaint under no. [protected] of 11th october, 2912 and had been regularly following up on the status of the restoration work and had been being informed as "the work was in progress", until 20th October, when suddenly and surprisingly I was informed again that there had been no complaint pending relating to my above telephone no. though the line was still dead.

                          In an utter confusion.I had lodged the third complaint through you automatic fault booking system on 20th October bearing no. [protected], and had the same experience until 5th November, when I, having been communicated in the same language that no complaint is pending on my above tel.line, had to lodge yet another, i.e the fourth one bearing no. [protected] on 5th November and had been awaiting, perhaps stupidly, for restoration of my BSNL Tel. Services.

                          At this stage, I, out of serious dejection, started looking for someone in Grievance redressal exercise in BSNL and contacted the Customer Care Services at the toll free no. 197. I was referred by them the telephone no 2235 6622 for redressal of my complaint, and all my attempt to contact on that tel. no. was futile.

                          On my getting reverted back to the Customer care, I was ridiculously asked as to how did I get that no. and the correct no. will be the one of the CGM-CTD which is (o[protected], which also, despite all my futile effort remained totally inaccessible .

                          And my third effort to seek effective support from the Customer Care executive ended in yet another corrective reference, providing by them as tel. no. 2415 0002 of CGM,
                          which too was, sometime inaccessible and sometime non responding, as usual, till date.

                          To day while trying to find out the status of restorative work, with a grim hope, I was again shelled back with the same comment for the fourth time that you have no complaint pending on my tel. no. and having been constrained to lodge my Fifth complaint, bearing no. [protected], out of total frustration, I prefered to take the opportunity to place on record the unique model of Customer Care extended by BSNL, the Apex body of the Govt. of India for telecommunication

                          While on the subject I may also be allowed to put on record the important role, the above telephone connection has in my family, which is consisting of Four senior Citizens only, in an age range of 61 to 92, out of which my mother who is 92+ is a bed ridden patient fighting the bite of a "Non Hemorrhagic Cerebral Infarct" she had suffered on January last.

                          In the light of above, I wish to submit most humbly that having no services from the above telephone connection of mine, despite sticking and banging my head from pillar to post, kindly oblige me by either restoring and ensuring the uninterrupted telephone services essential for the family, or treating this communication as the one for surrendering my telephone connection from the date of my first complaint i.e end September.

                          Looking forward to receiving an early communication from you.

                            i received a url sms about stock information. I clicked it just to see what it is. As soon as i clicked it 30/- were deducted. The reason for complaint is that i was not given enough info about the service.so that i didnt get the time to decide wether i want to use service or not.and i had to lose 38/- on a service i dont want to use. If a govt org is using such false practices then its a pitty for indian people-[protected]

First it was not accepting my details and now, I can view my bill but when try to clik PAY ONLINE , I can not pay because I do not get any gate way of any bank .
                              The authorities who should check the website ,whether it is properly working or not, whether it is user friendly, do not BOTHER about it.

                                BSNL — Incompetency of BSNL internet sevice and harrasment caused by them

                                Internet and phone services are not at all working from last couple of months.Whenever i called for costumer care services, they keep on saying that, everything is fine, thier must be some problem in your computer. We have been paying the bill for the last 4 months, keeping in mind that they would take any step.And moreover whenever we went to the office they behaved very badly.We are dissatisfied by the services provided by them and also the harrasment caused by these people.
                                I had complain for non-functioning of Broadband for 3 months (June~August, 2008) Ph: no. 2556 5789

                                Your Paikpara Tel. exchange has accepted and assured me to refund Rs. 500/- for non-functioning of Broad Band service. So far I have not received payment on adjustment to my subsequent bill.

                                Please confirm when I can receive refund which will be adjusted to my new bill Ph:[protected]because I have recently transferred to my new house and my transferred phone no.[protected]

                                Nearly a year gap of settlement and refund claim astonishingly delayed !!!

                                1. Online complain number [protected] is no working its saying the number is deactivated
                                2. Online complain[protected] is not available saying the same is available.
                                3. a)Value added services like caller tune activated without my permission.

                                  I wanted to watch TV on my mobile. Little did i know that it was still a dream .
                                  You first have to send an SMS “MY3GTV” & send to 55447 ( Rs. 2 for the SMS) and then the application link is sent to your mobile handset via SMS. Once the application downloads (Approx Rs 2 for the download charged by BSNL.)
                                  I then installed and opened the application and selected watching mobile TV - Channel ESPN MobileTV for one day (Charged Rs. 10 for one day subcription)
                                  Once I selected the channel it took five minutes to activate.
                                  Post which a list of programmes comes up ,this is again confusing as there is no time mentioned and I was assuming the ESPN channel to load LIVE which did not happen. I selected almost all porgrammes in the list but none seemed to be working all that I got was a buffer for 2 minutes and then a message saying " the channel will show at scheduled time." or something similar. I dont remember the exact text.
                                  Once i exited the channel I was charged around Rs.5 for the programmes none of which played forget live streaming of the videos .
                                  I wasted Rs 19 for nothing which i could have used to make atleast 1900 seconds of calls (@ 1p/sec )

In spite of repeated contact with customer care still no refund has been given to the above Nos. It is watched that also no proper responce are being given by customer care.

                                    Sir, should I leave the bsnl service and I should advice to our near and dear to leave bsnl and join other company, as the bsnl is not for general people. Please advice further and immediate responce.

                                      1) before, this phone was having regular disturbance in line while talking (was not clear).

                                      2) and when talking to some one, we were hearing our neighbour's talk to his friend and he was able to hear what we talk, thus we were unable to continue our talk.

                                      for years this is happening and now the phone is not at all working for months. we cannot use the land phone other than mobile, however, we are to pay the normal telephone bill without any fail.
