Sir,

our telephone[protected] is not operative since 1st july and was discontinued even before the last date for bill payment ie 7th july.

we asked for disconnecting the broadband and paid the balance bill for Rs 250 as guided at the vasna telephone exchange on 2nd july evening. the telephone has not been made yet operative and the message is our line has been temporarily disconnected, we here this for the past 4 weeks. earlier the message was contacat accounts officer - we promptly paid the needed amount on 2nd july, and met the accounts officer again on 11th july morning.

the accoutns officer feels helpless saying the department has passed instructions for reconnecting the line but there is no response from the pune office. perhaps a technical snag which surprisingly takes more than 3 weeks and there seems to be nobody to ensure it is rectified in time on a priority basis. the customer complain lines are not operative and ask us to press the same buttons again and again, so much of automation!!! human interaction not allowed. the complain registered on 1500 by some Dashratbhai is not traceable, no response. we are made to run from pillar to post some secretary receiving the phone but not getting back to us not caring to ask for the mobile number from where the complain was made. the contact numbers are no more available on the BSNL bills as i was told people disturb the BSNL staff late evenings and at night - best solution dont print the numbers!!! then where does one contact presuming it is day time? does BSNL expect one to take office leave and visit the BSNL exchange personally again and again to make indian citizens inclusive as the PM keeps on repeating, those above the BPL line are not inclusive because they possess dead landlines and there is no where to go as one does not know which officer is accountable.

in short our line[protected] is not operative since 1st july inspite of paying the needed money on 2nd july, and it seems BSNL is not able to rectify a technical snag for the past 3 weeks or more which sounds strange for a country on high-tech but unaccountable growth path.

hope this complain of a minor/common citizen will be made note of on this consumer forum in public interest and needful influence would be exerted in consumers interest at large not allowing public services to take customers for granted taking there own sweet time while drawing their salaries regularly, days together not rectifying a routine telephone complaint while remain unaccessible at the same time all 198 telephobe complain lines not responding aksing one to press the same buttons again and again which is irritating and insulting too.

hope one can get appropriate compensation from BSNL for an unduly disconnected landline, and voluntarily too, without any consumer litigation involved treating this as part of the citizens charter - without the involvement of Anna Hazare or Baba Ramdev who seem to be fooled by the govt followed by threatening arrests to scuttle public movements, invoking some technicalities in their disfavour.

ARaja/Kapil Sibal need to be however congratulated for achieving teledensity in the country through Bharat Sanchar Nigam, while the consumer is lost in this density when the services are disconnected for weeks together with nobody to go to hopping from pillar to post while the complaint numbers are not printed any more on the telephone bills.

    Sir,

    would like to draw kind attention in public interest that our landline[protected] is not operative since 1st july and was disconnected even before the last date for bill payment.

    we had the internet connection which we opted to disconnect and paid the needed amount of Rs 250/- as guided at the vasna telephone exchange on the 2nd july evening. we were getting messages contact the accounts officer. the telephone nos indicated on an earlier bill on the accounts officer number are no more operative. neither do the complaint lines ending 198 operative. neither the 1500 complain line is accessible, was accessible once where one Shri Dashratbhai noted our complain and also gave a complain registration number but is not accessible anymore for the past 25 days thereafter. the bills do no more print the contact numbers for contact in case of complain or for contact and we were told this printing of numbers has been discontinued in the public interest since people disturb the BSNL staff late evenings and at night to and therefore this is the best solution in a country where the Prime Minister talks of inclusive govt, and where Shri Narendra Modi rightly talks of creating a mini-japan in gujarat.

    we are now told on the automation mode that the telephone has been temporarily put out of service, for the past 3 weeks. have loaded numbers from the internet and officials pass the buck asking to contact some other number or falsely note the complain and cleverly do not ask for the number we have telephoned from, at times ask but never get back humanly giving any assurance that the complain is being attended, or what has gone wrong and when it will possibly be rectified.

    the Accounts dept/vasna says that three lines in the whole of india of which one is our line has a technical snag and the pune office has been informed but they are not able to rectify for the past four weeks or so. sounds very strange in a high-tech india going the nuclear way.

    the long and short of it is our telephone line[protected] is not operative since 1st july inspite of paying the bill immediately on notice, and we are running pillar to post not knowing who exactly to contact, while the accounts office says they have given the clearance for the line and the pune office is working on the problem for the past 3 weeks, such a high-tech problem. may be we have to call experts from america/russia/germany. do no know, whether a common man's telephone line cannot be restarted in bharat/india by bharat sanchar nigam a public services company. while Kapil Sibal/ARaja boast of having acquired teledensity in India. ofcourse 1-3 lines not working is not a great complain indeed while the government is busy handling scams or covering scams and arresting Anna Hazare or Baba Ramdev lest they uprise the general public in disfavour of the incumbant govt.

    what would happen if Sonia Gandhi's/Madam's line is not operative. would BSNL have the same approach. may be this would be solved in 30 minutes which too may be a lot of time in that case. why attend a common man promptly! may at most lose one vote which does not matter, and slowly a lot of votes while the Presidential election could have been a success for the moment. hope somebody is listening and does not make lite of this little complain by a little man in vejalpur, gujarat.

    with regards and thanks in anticipation, hoping the consumer forum too would not neglect taking this as one more complain in such a vast country with 120 cr people - hope to get a suitable prompt acknowledgment if one deserves. do not if someone could get me some token compensation for all this lack of inefficiency for undelivered services while the bill was paid promptly the next day itself. Are BSNL consumers voters too or only the BPL line people while the MPs/MLAs/Ministers can affortd to talk of inclusive growth staying in large bungalows with all the paraphernalia dishing out verbal promises or participating in tv debates.

    thank God have this forum to vent out my thought processes - may be for a simple telephone line inoperative in vejalpur, where Mahatma Gandhi is supposed to have conducted a women's march for water i suppose. ofcourse, i could be a person of no significance here! i hope one could feel proud always in this country!!!

        dear sir ,
        i have complaint regarding the bsnl tower situated at vinod nagar in dhanbad ,
        jharkhand .it is not working properly since last 20 days. It is very inconvenient as there full network yet we cant make any calls as it shows " NETWORK BUSY"i request you to look into the matter as soon as possible....
        i am using bsnl postpaid connection from past 2 years and i have 11 cug connection. I have just got frustrated bcoz of the network. Its not the worth paying so much money for such a bad connection. I have full signal but i cant speak, or connection error, or sometimes i would hear my own voice. Just waiting for september month where i can shift my network to other carrier. This is worst connect
        last many time getting error when strat my mobile
        and many time register my error in bsnl
        but not any responces getting from
        error like : temporary error 44 occurs ple try after some times

        and all time when i disconnect my call message show "Thanks for BSNL Services"

        and many time given this types of popup message
        many time showing reparing center but all time given 1 solution for this problem

A tower of industrial area is not working properly. and gprs service is also affected for network. gprs service 50% working. no doubt bsnl gives good service in Chandigarh. but bsnl failed to give better service in pkl.firstly start gprs service properly, A continuous service. and industrial area phase 1 A tower is not working properly. please repair the tower and give better service to customers

        I am using BSNL mobile. My place is Pazhaya Uchakkada, near Tamilnadu boarder.Now in Kollamkode one new tower started. After that our mobile in house always showing busy. and incoming call also charging. Kindly rectify the problem.

        I have booked bsnl network problem on 9/6/2009 at bsnl call center and my docket no was 3281302.After boked complaint i was calling so many time at bsnl call center but every time call center person told me that your problem will be resolved within 2 or 3 days.Ultimatly i receved massage from bsnl call center that after many tries unable to contact you docket no 328/1302 dt 9/6/2009 resolved for network down if problem contineus pls rebook.I rebooked same problem on7/1/2010 and my docket no is 3517957.Sir bsnl is one of the reputed company and this type of behave is not good for me/us.it is therefore requested to see the matter and do needful so that i can use the bsnl service more conveneant way.

        i m from CHHOTA UDEPUR,DIST-BARODA.
        there are 2 mobile towers in our town & signal also come perfectly.problem is that in mobile signals are display full but if somebody call us than our mobile stutus is out of coverage & that caller number comes in miss call alert via sms to our mobile.we are feel so much harass since last 2 months for this problem so pls resolve this problem.

        Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research is loacted near Sewar which is part of Bharatpur and it is 6-7 km from BSNL head office.There is no BSNL network on mobile during day and night...if network will come it will disconnect just after hello. For completion of one call it will always take 2-3 times dialling and same is on receiving the call. Staff quarters are inside the centre and same problem is in home. Majority of SIM are BSNL................can BSNL think on this issue...or we have to change our connections. Other all comapany's network no problem.

        My self chandramohan from chennai. I can't able to to make and receive calls inside our office, i have to come outside the building to make calls. My work place is RMZ millenia park-2, 4A, 10th floor perungudi, chennai-600096. iam using this number([protected]) for the past 5 years .
        Other mobiles like Airtel, Vodafone, etc., are working fine with this building. But whomever using BSNL are facing this serious issue.
        In our mobiles, tower is seem to be full. Even though incoming call s are getting cut, not audible, can’t able to make calls etc.,
        If somebody calls us, they are getting “ not recheable “ message etc., Many of our friends have already informed regarding this.
        Even our building is at the centre of City, near to many IT hubs, taramani railway station also next to us. This thing is not acceptable.
        BSNL have to consider this as serious issue. And to do need ful for us ASAP

          Hi, I'm narendra using bsnl prepaid sim styaing in hyderabad, from last three weeks i'm getting very bad signal. Call getting disconnected after few seconds of lifting recieved call / died call. I Would like know how give a complaint BSNL network, they are cheating trusted customers.           Sir we (people in pembatla vill, sarangapoor mdl, Karimnagar Dist) are facing a lot of problems with arpapally(vill) bsnl tower.almost half of the day we dont have signal in our bsnl mobiles.I think it is the problem with the generator.             I am the principal of the college Brajrajnagar College Brajrajnagar.Presently we have broadband connectivity for telephone numbers
            [protected], [protected] and [protected]. Despite repeated complaints at the SDO level the service provided to us is extremely
            poor.
            At present e-Admission work in the college in +2 and +3 stream is going on but to our extreme dissapointment the net connection
            is either dead or extremely slow . As a result the timebound examination work is completely stalled.

              respected sir,
              11205518. i use bsnl post paid ,mobile no [protected]. account no is 11205518. my problem is that i had subscribed for 3g network plan of rs 150 for 1gb 3g data plan. i use the govt plan no. this time i was issued a bill of rs. 3899.00 dated 7/7/2012.
              my previous bills were around rs 500-700/month.
              i was charged in excess of the 3g plan i used over the 1gb data.
              sir, i was never notified that i had exceeded one gb data usage and when i had exceeded the limit of one gb ,the internet services were continued and charged for. my plea here is that when i exceeded one GB ,i was not notified + services were continued without intimation+ overcharged for the extra data usage without my knowledge.
              i was shocked to see the bill of rupees 3899.
              kindly help me out and adjust the bill with bsnl.

                I got this message from My Mobile Number [protected] ( 3G SIM ) after dialing *123#

                The account is inactive. Please refill your account before 28/07/2012. Your balance is Rs. 202.38.

                I have recharge my mobile Rs.55/-, Rs.110/- Rs. 150/- but not getting any validity.

                I try to recharge Rs.49/- Rs.36/- but my mobile did not get recharge with these amount.

                For activation of your account you should go for SPECIAL recharge of 34 rs . Remember you must go for special recharge or u'll be getting balance not validity . You can get special recharge from retailer or u can also get that from www.paytm.com while u recharge here don't forget to select special recharge option, tat's it .

                  I, the undersigned would like to inform you that, I am unable use the internet facility since 12th July .Further I had approached BSNL official in turn one of the officer had visited to my residence on 19th July and had thorough check up .According to him there is cable problem. I think the above problem is existing since I had installed telephone connection because I am getting cross connection since from beginning .Considering all the above problem I request to you to arrange your staff and get it attended as soon as possible and waive the intranet charges till the cable problem is solved.

                  we are not been able to connect the broadband at once, it takes alot of time to connect to server.
                  also www.yahoo.com and other pages of yahoo are not opening since last 1 month.

                    please help in locking the sim no-[protected] issued in the name of my colleagues ( Saral Adhikari) wife-Arundati Adhikari, having residence at 14/11, Kedarnath building, Vijaya Heritage, Kadma immediately as the same which was in her Nokia X201 mobile handset ( IMEI no- [protected]) has been stolen from her son's bag which her son had kept by the side of the basketball court at JRD Tata stadium where he had gone to play. Since the same had a net connection with GPRS enabled and facebook was in open condition, the same has been misused by the person who has stolen it and obscene messages have been sent to all her sons contacts.

                    They have already lodged a FIR in the local Bistupur police station about the same . I shall be grateful if the handset vide the IMEI no given above is also locked.

                        Hi My mother is using a BSNL number [protected] from last 6 years, she have less idea of mobile useag.From last few months more than Rs 500 had been deducted from her account. Every time she will recharge for RS 500,then some or other value added service will get activated in her number and charges will be deducted every week, value added services like Mobile TV, Mobiles Radio , jobs alert etc etc.. She never activate these services as she is quite old to show interest in these services, every time it’s get activated of its own, please look into this matter and resolve it and stop charging money by activating unnecessary services from Old people who don’t have much idea of mobile services, please try to refund money which got deducted from her balance from last 1 years for these mobile TV, Mobile Radio, Mobile Songs services as she never used these services and every week charges had been deducted. You can check how much money had been deducted from BSNL number [protected]. Please refund all those money deducted by unnecessary activation of value added services.Please activate DND for this number so that no such services get activated by its own.
                        sir, ihave used on bsnl prepaid plan . but then iwant to call detal bil on this month, wat ican do, pls hep me

                          hey., ..try talking to the customer care people at[protected], , , or write to them at [protected]@pantel.in... they are responding there and am sure your tab would work fine soon...

                          Sulekha is a big cheater and they dont answer properly, they shows product even though they dont actually, i have made payment by net banking but they are not answering now

                            Dear sir,
                            My prepaid Mobile No. [protected] has been unsolicitedly SUBCRIBED to "WAP Bollywood Subscription Pack " by a Service called BV-ONMOBL, since early June'2012 .
                            Evey 10 days a messkge comes saying " Subscriber , your WAP Bollywood Subscription Pack will be automatically renewed on .." and gets renewed after 3 days given , at a charges deducted @ Rs 10/10 days . Now I received same message saying it will get renewed on[protected] message recived at 01.06.45am today .
                            How and why BSNL allows such subscriptions and allaows pre-paid balance gets paid to these services without giving any OPTION to "UNSUBSCRIBE" such unwanted service in their network.
                            I request BSNL, Orissa to discontinue the above service from my No [protected] and oblige . Now I am staying at Gujarat State and still likes to have this no to continue as it is BSNL, if this wrong subscribed service is removed .

                            BSNL Mobile — unsolicited subscription to service

                            I got msg frombsnl that "Thanks for using our Chat messenger. Your service has been renewed for 30 days. Rs 15/- Charged" I failed to understand how come they have subscribed to the service I have never solicited.Please suggest remedy.
                            My money is getting deducted towards mobile box office renewal on regular intervals, for which i have never subscribed.pl do needful. i request bsnl officials not resort to such cheap tactics of deducting money from customers account without their request/consent.

                              Be kind enough to get my unwanted Bollywood Diva subscription deactivated from my post paid bsnl mobile connection bearing A/c No.11034077 mobile no.[protected]. It is shear wastage of money, more over it gets renewed itself. Complaints have been got lodged with the customer care center but it is not being paid any heed. Necessary action may kindly be taken to get rid of this unwanted subscription.

                              Some time last month I had received a notification SMS on my mobile saying "ALL CHANNELLS" was activated on my number and that i was charged 40 rupees for this. i have immediately lodged a complaint through your portal and after two weeks got a notification that the issue was resolved.Two days back I got an sms saying "your renewal request for all channels/month was not activated due to low balance." i have never subscribed for any such service in the first place and now i am unable to deactivate it. I spoke to the customer service on 1503 and they suggested that i send an sms with MYUNSUB to 55447. i sent This sms and was charged 3 rupees for each sms and only got a reply "you have entered an invalid keyword." I want to know why i am being charged for a service that i never subscribed for and why i was willfully given wrong information from customer service. the BSNL online customer portal is so faulty that it is beyond hopless and cant file a single complaint on it. This is robbery of my money and I WANT IT TO B E STOPPED.

                                my modem cannot connect to the server many times.i have connection ed of broadband about 2 week.i have complained in the bsnl office,beawar but they don't carry they are too careless.my land line no is [protected]. and broadband i.d. is mitra_sachin2yahoo.in .net always stop after an half hour .so please help me and solve my problem

                                    I applied for landline connection on 7th July 2012 and my phone has not yet been connected and when i visited my nearest sub-divisional office for inquiry, they told me that the lineman is on leave due to his marriage and the main line is also disconnected because of on going road construction in my area but there is no road construction work being carried out and moreover they said that they have no any replacement for the line man. Because of these lame reasons BSNL has been losing customers and market share to other service providers. Am very much disappointed with the services. Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.                                     BSNL — delay in landline connection

                                    Dear sir,
                                    BSNL Ghaziabad is the worst service provider now i am feeling os .I have booked a new telephone connection UID no .UPWGZB[protected] and even telephone number was allocated to me that is 2606800 though 15 days have been passed but till yet no connection not even line was given to us this show how careless you are for your customer though your employees say we are number 1 service provider ironically
                                    I had applied for new landline connection on first week of may 2013. Lead Id is KLERN[protected]. Am stilll to get my connection. Kindly help me
                                    I had applied for a lanline and broadband connection from BSNL office at Tripunithura, Ernakulam. I am yet to get the connection. On enquiry at office they informed me that number is alotted but connection is getting delayed due to some technical problems.
