Hi,

This is Satish. The internet connection was taken only 3 months back. Right from the first month the bill is on a high rate. But last month statement was unreasonable and I am very much annoyed on BSNL. Coz we were not in use of the internet last month and the Statement shows an amount for a whole year. Its of 7000 plus.
I have never seen such a huge statement even when the net was not in use.

Pls do reply me and send me the details o[censored]sage.

    m a resindent of mumbai . my landline is not working form last few days . so i request you to take some necessary actions.

      Without my instance I have been forced with a caller tune to my cell phone no.[protected] which I am not interested. I am fearing I may be deducted the caller tune fee from my cell phone balance. I shall be greatful if the same disabled immediately.

      that was again cheating.

      I sent sms to 53733 MGEN i received secret no[protected] if i recharge this number i am getting that is error code that indicates voucher is not found. whenever i sent smsto 53733 i am getting same secret no which i received on sep 28th .
      finally more than one month passed plan was nat converted.

        sir i have taken bsnl boradband commercial connection.It is not working properly in one months its work properly five or tens and rest of days not works.SO due to this facing a very big problem. I have complained many times but no action would taken from that side.sir i am college going student its very difficult to the bill without nay uses so sir please and please take some action.

          Excessive broadband bills
          ISP BSNL BEED MS

          The bills for the month of Apr & May are as follows
          April 2008, Download 24.1, Upload 18.7, Total GB 42.9, Rs 42001
          May 2008, Download 7.21, Upload 5.98. Total GB 13.2, Rs 13017
          I have registered complaint with BSNL and received reply as actual usage. Reasons for huge up/downloads is not clarified even after reminders. The services are discontinued however, min bill is continued. In view of court notice threat I have to pay the bills along with late fee.
          I have not used connection for online entertainment, downloading audio / videos, Commercial usage, etc nor, shared Modem. Therefore, trust overall usage to be below 1 GB only.
          Please help me out and advice to avoid recurrence

          Sir, I am R/o Bhanudas Nagar Chanai Tq. Ambajogai having Land line Telephone No.[protected] . I have been using Boroadband Internet since last one year. I have opted for Home Plan @ Rs.250. My average monthly bill is around 600-800. But this month i.e. for the month of December 08 the bill has been charged as Rs.3799/- which is far excess than my usual bills. I suspect there is something wrong in the process of billing specially in respect of the bill shown towards the broadband usage charges and the amount of data shown. Please kindly look in to the matter and revise the bill immediately.
          I too have experienced the same. My July usage showed 39 GB extra and have been charged Rs 24000/-. Now, after the complaints, I was suggested to go for Samadhan scheme and after all the settlement, I still have to pay Rs 12000/-. I am also trying to see what are the alternatives that I am left with. My details are as follows:

          1. DataOne user for more than two years and have never had a case of excess usage in spite of Skype usage.
          2. Suddenly from June, started getting excess usage and have paid Rs 4000/-.
          3. From July onwards, started getting crazy bills charging Rs 24000/- etc.
          4. Wanted to test if the recording of data by BSNL is fine or not. So, removed all unsecured access. Kept the modem switched off when not in use. To my shock, on the 5 days of trial where we noted down the times of modem being kept on, the BSNL data usage shows usage during hours where the Modem was OFF. In one instance, the BSNL portal shows an usage of 300 MB downl load, when the modem was OFF.
          5. The local customer relationship officers have reduced the bills by half, but even then, the charges are highly unacceptable. Now I have to see what best I can do...

            Yes I agree that it is little confusing as these are not provided to you by the BSNL office when you collect the MODEM.

            The subscriber ID is your landline number with full std code suffixed.
            and the subscriber circlr ID is the region of your loaction. i, e SOUTH /NORTH /WEST etc...

            Hope this will help you complete your registration.

                BSNL — Telephone and Internet service down

                The phone and Internet service is down for last 7 days and not sure when it will be up as the whole road has been dug, Its not the fault of the customer if the telephone lines has been dug up due to the faulty contract done in previous days by not placing the telephone lines at the distant which is on papers of contract to keep the lines under ground. We will be billed for the entire month without any consideration as the lines were down due to the ineffeciancy of the telephone department. The phone number to register complaint is only accessable through bsnl phone, if the person does not have access to bsnl phone around he is handycap to file a complaint for his phone and Internet service .


                The service is down in Shanti nager Gurgaon Haryana 122001, its not the question of one phone, but all the bsnl phones in that perticular area.
                I think action will be taken soon to rectify and compensate people by not charging for the time service was down

                i am staying at badmal,dist-bolangir,state-orissa,767770.
                we are facing prob due to poor quality service of BSNL service
                from last 7 days we are not able to call any person from BSNL

I received the same message from 12630019, on Jan 10th 2009, that I have been "Successfully" charged 19/- for unwanted Radio Service.. that too without my concern.                   When I contacted the customer service center regarding this issue, they give me a reply that, I pressed some buttons while talking to somebody and that’s the reason for enabling the Radio Service... Ridiculous...
                  Dear BSNL, Even if any type of such arrangement is there in your system, it is your minimum responsibility to send a request to me for confirming weather this facility enable or not.

                      i hv been using bsnl for the last 4-5 years...
                      i have well used all the services provided by the company...
                      now for the past 4-5 months...
                      i hv been facing a big problem regarding my caller tune...
                      i'v tried to call the customer care...
                      they ensured me of removing the caller tune...but all waste...
                      as a matter of fact... now i feel iv spent more money in removing that "caller tune"...rather than.trying for new ones...

                      now its a plee to u to kindly remove it...as it is a unbearable dump tu my my callers...

                        i am citizen of dehradun and i have take a connection on 08.09.2008 and i regeret to said that my bsnl broad band connection did not work it shows error 678. the remote computer did not responding.
                        i have complain at 197 and other numbers but bsnl worker did not solve my problem now my internet connection is not working anybody did not take any action about it.
                        i am press reporter i am sending you my i card copy also
                        i am not intrested to print about bsnl activities in media
                        if my problem will be not solve then i will print the truth of bsnl service in news papers. i have evidence also

                                BSNL 3G — Never Activated

                                I got a coupon with BSNL broadband bill which told to ask for a free 3G sim. I went to the BSNL customer service branch (behind IIMB, Bangalore). They saw the coupon and provided me the sim card with the number [protected]. They told that it would be activated within 24 hours. It was not activated for 2 days. When I went on the third day, they said that it would happen by 22nd, Aug since the free sim activation link has not been updated in the application that they use. When I went on 23rd and complained that the sim is not working, they told that they do not have any offer of free 3G sim card and returned my application. Further, they told if I want my sim to be activated, to pay Rs 180 to them. In my life, I always refrained using government services because they are slow and people are not helpful and money oriented. For the first time, I took BSNL broadband and was happy to see that services are good. With the experience of the 3G sim, I came to know that the customer service is 10000 lightyears back.

                                    It isvery hard to describe to explain why the internet connection fails to connect. But there is a logical reason why it didnt functioned the way it should . We did forget to power up the modem.
                                    I am a user of bsnl dataone. When I dial dataone it sows an erroe "the phone line is busy". Please give me the solusion.
                                    try changing your modem (or) reset your modem
                                    my net shows error code 676
                                    For error 676, "The phone line is busy", we have to reconfigure the modem.
                                    Solution steps:
                                    Go to http://192.168.1.1
                                    Give username and password as : admin ( A new window will be opened)
                                    Open advance setup
                                    Trace out the VPI/VCI values as 35/0 and click on edit at the end of the row.
                                    Click on next (no Modifications)
                                    In connection type select eigther PPPOE (for always on mode) or Bridging (for single user)
                                    [ in PPPOE mode give u r username and pwd]
                                    Click on next
                                    click on next
                                    click on save
                                    click on save/ reboot
                                    Wait for 2 minuter untill ADSL/ LINK and Ethernet/ WLAN lighter are stable and then u can brow internet

                                    we are using BSNL broadband. Last couple of months the password is automaticaly changing. we cannot access the internet.we convey to the bsnl. and they rectify that. They save dataone icon in desk top and give default password also.This is worked for 4 hrs. Now we give password.it shows error connetion678. Intenet conection is not open. How can we change it.                                     i waana suggest u something which can be remove ur problem.

                                    First of all make sure ur : user name and password
                                    bothe are correct, if yes

                                    then in dial up connection under options tab increase the "idle time before hanging up" to maximum like 24hrs.

                                    then under security tab select : "Require sequred password".

                                    hope this will help u to remove ur problem.

                                      I took a broadband connection from BSNL (Calcutta Telephones) one and a half month ago. Though I have applied over 6 month before. But anyway I have got the connection. After that it ran for 15 days, then the original drama started. When I try to connect it is giving a error 678. And it is not connecting. I called there 24 hour help desk(which is usually on IVRS only after 5PM, no one there to take direct calls), and booked the complaint. But one month has past and I am still suffering, no one is bothering to solve the problem. Everyday I try to call the local exchange(669), but no body is there to pick up the phone. Still I know that my bill will come and I have to pay. But the fact is that I have to pay for no service. This is BSNL(Calcutta Telephones).

I called there 24 hour help desk(which is usually on IVRS only after 5PM, no one there to take direct calls), and booked the complaint. But one month has past and I am still suffering, no one is bothering to solve the problem. Everyday I try to call the local exchange(669), but no body is there to pick up the phone. Still I know that my bill will come and I have to pay. But the fact is that I have to pay for no service. This is BSNL(Calcutta Telephones).

                                      I have BSNL Broadband from last 8 months, but before 10 days some problem occoured and it got disconnected. Now, I am not able to connect the internet. As I am doing most of the things online from my home and many of the things I do depends on internet. From past 10 days my work has completely stopped. I have given the complaint on 3 to 4 times on the same complaint number i.e, 41549. I have followed it up 5 times but they are not taking this as on priority.

                                      Now I cannot proceed my work without internet. Please resolve this as soon as possible.

                                      Two months back I have paid the Unlimited Broad band bill and contacted at Service Supervisor/JE at our Place to change the tarif[censored]nlimited Broad band to Limited broad band i.e., Rs.500/- month tariff. Since two months no action has been taken, and they replys that, we are no way connected to change the tariff just we makes entries in the Computer. Remaining have to look higher level officers or some other persons which they are concerned from District Head quarters or Bangalore Head Office. Where we have to approach to change the tariff and to restore Outgoing calls. Please advise in this regard and arrange to depute concerned persons to rectify the same. An earliest action in this regard is highly appreciated please.

                                      I am applying for broadband connection at my home landline telephone no.2400928, for home plan Rs. 125 per month, but I receive a letter from BSNL Office that my telephone is use in my office, but actauly my telephone is use in my home address. I give a complain to BSNL office to verify again and find out that my no. is use in my home.

                                      Please kindly take neccessary action immiediatly.

                                      bsnl-broadband — FAULT IN BROADBAND CONNECTION

                                      MY BROAD BAND CONNECTION WAS OUT OF SERVICE SINCE LAST 7DAYS.I REGISTERED A COMPLAINT VIDE NO 83646 ON[protected]. SINCE DATE TWO REPRESENTATIVE FROM PRIVATE FIRM( TO WHOM IT WAS SUBLETED FOR FAULT REPAIRING) VISITED MY HOUSE WITHOUT ANY PRIOR INFORMATION NOR HAVING ANY ID CARD .STILL THEY HAVE SEEN AND WENT BACK SAYING THIS WILL BE CORRECTED FROM THE BSNL OFFICE .HENCE IT WILL BE OK WITHIN TWO HOURS. TOTAL 8 DAYS PASSED NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.

                                      IS THIS THE PRICE WE HAVE TO PAY BY USING A PSU CONNECTION ?IF SO, THEN IT IS DIFFICULT TO REVIVE THE CUSTOMERS TRUST .

                                      sir, i am using internet for more than 10 months, i have unstable internet service for more than 2 months. if i restart the modem, for every 2 or 3 min the internet is disconected . i have complained this fault for more than 10 to 15 times in bsnl office, mallapuram. but they didnt solve the problem till now. i am a online gamer, i am so feed up with this promblem.. the staffs working in this bsnl office is not so effficent. pls take some action regarding this compliant... mallapuram, chengalpattu dist, tamilnadu...

                                      I had applied for BSNL Brodband connection on 07/02/2009 in Jaipur, but they have not provided me the connection nor any information till when I will get the connection, I am following it up since February but no positive response is given by them. Fiber is laid down but still they have not provided the connection.There are 4- 5 more cases who have applied for broadband connection but didnt get broadband connection though fess of RS 500 is deposited in month of Feb. We are waiting for it from past 10 months.

                                        Sir,
                                        I had taken a connection in 2004 from Tezpur BSNL. This number was surrendered in )ct 2005. Last week- Sept-2008. I received a letter from the Chief accounts Officer speaking about unpaid dues. I seriously dont understand why it took the organisation so long to send me such a letter- if ever there was such a problem. Contacting the concerned person on is desk is impossible and he is never free for an appointment. Mails have been sent but there has been no response from the Assam circle. Delhi has deigned to reply saying that they are looking into the matter. But the letter from the Office - Assam BSNL threatening "Legal action" gives me only 7 days. I am in a quandry as to how to proceed. How can a named organisation like BSNL harrass the common people like this?
                                        Please refer my mobile no. [protected]. I have paid my bill for the period of 01/06/09 to 30/06/09 in the moth of July'09 itself. But my outgoing services have been discontinued from 11/08/09 onward. Please resolve the problem at the earliest.
