1 The broad band modem is not working since last 11 days. complaint filed the telephone exchange/JTO since then. No action taken so far. Hnce i want immediate attention by concerned authority. Also no billing be made during the non functional period.

2 The telephoen No[protected] is not functioning properly. We cannot hear anything from the otherside. Complaint filed with (on phone) the exchange remain unattended. Pl take immediate action.

With deep anguish I am to state that I am an ECS optee for the instant BSNL Telephone. The BSNL authority was pleased enough to realize my telephone bill amount through ECS since long from my SBI Belghoria Branch S/B account no [protected] 1888 on my application in prescribed form. Curious enough I have been given to understand on Saturday last that the services of my telephone have temporarily been withdrawn for non-payment of Bills. Needless to mention that there is left no scope to ascertain the related matters i.e. unpaid bill details or the bill amount, in particulars, as the telephone was placed under only incoming facility. However it could be learnt after using other sources that the payment of bills for March ’09 and April ’09 were not paid which was exclusively the duty and responsibility of the Telephone Department to get those bills cleared from my bank a/c through ECS as per my contract with the Telephone Department or system in vogue.
Incidentally it may be mentioned here that the SBI Belghoria Branch entered into the core-banking system in early January, 2007. After the introduction of the core-banking system at SBI Belghoria Branch, all my bills up to February, 2009(26 months) were adjusted from my Bank A/C through ECS. It is, therefore not understood as to what has lead the Telephone Department to refrain herself from realizing those two bills from my Bank A/C through ECS and on the other hand pushed me to all these unwanted hazards at my old age over 72(Quite a Senior Citizen). Moreover, due to non-functioning of the telephone, particularly out-going call facilities, I miserably failed to communicate some messages centering round important assignments and for which I have suffered loss. Nothing can be more deplorable than this and most undesirable. I should not have been thrown into such troubles for no fault of mine. Had I not been misguided with the inscription “ ECS BANK ADJUSTMENT-ECS OPTEE NEED NOT PAY THIS BILL AT THE COUNTER” at the bottom of the bills, I would have took keen initiative to find out reason behind much earlier, for non-realization of bill amount through ECS.
However, both the bills have been paid at the Panihati Telephone Exchange Cash Counter on 18.05.2009. Vide no 000871 and 000872 respectively.
It would be very much appreciated of you please take the trouble to find out the lapses on one’s part in this respect so that a true citizen is not put into unnecessary trouble in this way.
Immediate restoration of the telephone facility is requested. The realization of Telephone Bills through ECS, as were realized earlier, may pleased be ensured.
A line or at least a Telephonic information as to the action taken on this request is expected in no time.

I have faced the same problem. I also have taken the SIM "KOLKATA 249" in February 2, 2009. According to my sent time folder of my phone, it shows 3hs. 41 m. i.e. 221 minutes which I have dialled from bsnl to bsnl and to other phones. Surprisingly it started charging when I call from bsnl to bsnl @ 20 paise/call. I already in touch with your customer care centre. They said by seeing to their computer that I have already finished free call timing i.e. 495 minutes from bsnl to bsnl. What happened I don't know. I think it is a serious problem which is to be solved as early as possible. You are requested to solve my problem and accordingly mail me for further correspondence in this regard.

Yes, Same thing happens in my kolkata-249 mobile connection.As per the BSNL customer
care, the plan is switched over to plan-Kolkata-99 without any intimation to the customer.

sir i would like to state that the work of BSNL is hihly irresponsible and careless in terms of consumer service.my day starts with calling your office for restoration of my connection and ends the day with the same ;i have no other work left to do now.

bbservice is not openining for last five days so that i am not able to view my usage account

My telephone number is[protected].I took the broadband connection in july'09, which worked for only 15days & the modem was out of order.I visited bsnl office personally & the modem was exchanged.Now as I try to connect to the net the status window shows less no. of pkts recd than the pkts sent.I complained to the local exchange of my area, where I got the assurance of my problem to be resolved within a day or 2.
After 3 days of repeated complaints, a locally appointed private man came & resolved the problem by just turning the firewall off.He demanded money for this serviceswhich I denied.
After 3 days again the same problem started, I lodged the complaint same day, but as on date no one has even bothered to enquired about the complaint.
I have not deposited the last 2 months bills only b'coz of this attitude of services I am getting.
If I am not getting the services, than why should I pay?.
Please suggest what should be my next step as my services to phone has been temporarily barred.

i am resident of ludhiana, i am using bsnl student plan for last 2 years and i was happy with the service of student scheme. but from the 15th of march company starts charging of msgs we sent to any one. this extremely hurts me. this is just looking like to deceive a customer. company is not giving the proper benefit of student scheme to the users as we have bought this connection due to free msgs service. this is just looking like a fraud. this is a humble request to you to plz resume free msgs service again.

myself punita shah, i was using bsnl broadband internet service at my cousin's place in surat. i got connection from karimabad office of bsnl at ghoddod road, surat. i started to use it from september and i wanted to disconect the internet in december. I gave the application to cancle my internet connection from phone no.[protected]. We returned them wi - fi modem which was taken on rent of 90 rs./month. Now the problem is even on today (on 11th february) they have not cancled the internet connection and giving bill of more than 2000 rs. of internet usage...!!! it is radiculas. they are not ready to cancle our connection and still had taken the modem back and giving us bill. if we dont have modem then how can we connect the net? if they have any technical problem from server side, they should make inquiry of both server as well as our home. this is the high of careless customer service.
They say that you must pay our bill then only can go to the consumer court...This is the worst and third class internet service of india. shame on them...

I am Vamshi krishna from Hyderabad. I live in ECIL, Hyderabad. I got BSNL broad band connection months ago. Ever since I got this connection I am having problems but nothing. I am paying 1000 RS per month for this crap connection. Please anyone help me. When I called a Technician who look after this, he just said "if you don't want to use this service, please cancel". I have lofged a complaint so many times and no one has worked on this. The concerned JTO who is working in this area is simply a stupid( Please understand how frustrated I am). He don't know anything about technical problems of a Broadband connection . He always says that my computer is infected with virus. The DSL light on my modem never remain solid. It keeps on flickering whenever I try to connect or I get disconnected almost 20 times after being connected for a while. And there is nothing wrong with my computer. Because, if my computer is infected, why does the DSL light flicker, does it make any sense ????. I mentally suffering a lot in this situation. My money is getting wasted. I don't have time to go and meet someone every day on this problem. I have to go office. According to my knowledge, persons who just passed 7th standard are being recruited into BSNL. And those guys are sleeping in office. Even when I want to call someone to enquire about my billing, no one answers my call. And look at their Customer service working hours...10 AM to 3: PM ( 12:30 to 1:00 AM Lunch)...BSNL should really concentrate now. Did anyone see their ads ???????????. I think BSNL can improve their services if they spent those crores of rupees in developing their Telephone exchanges...not on Advertisements which are not going to help them to improve their services actually. Even if someone gets attracted and goes for a BSNL connection, they are not keeping the service for more than two or 3 months...I am very tired of this service. Can anyone realy help me please ? I've been using Office since the mid '80's on Mac's. Been using Excel intensely for the last 10 years.

After 10 years of torment and frustration with this good, but flawed product, I'm wanting it to be pushed beyond the beta testing stage and am very willing to help in any way I can.

I push Excel fairly hard and it is just such a glass-jawed, weak-kneed, clay-footed application. I'm locked in a constant battle trying to outwit it, because it constantly does silly things and falls over, and over and over. I'm constantly manually backing up every few minutes, because like as not it will chuck a hissy-fit and all my data will be trashed.

I must have spent several hundred extra hours over the decade, that I shouldn't have had to salvaging, redoing, outwitting. It's just horrible. But for the fact that I need Excel to administer my teaching - sometimes I feel I'd happily throw it off a bridge.

One example, if you accidentally use Exposé on a Mac while Excel 2004 is running it will eventually crash that session and could corrupt your work. You have to Quit and reopen or suffer the wrath of the fates.

I'd love to upgrade but can't as VBA was removed from Excel 2008. I'm desperately hoping that things have improved in what I hear is to be Excel 2011 which is rumoured to be released in June. In this version, VBA is included.

I would dearly love to correspond with your Office for Mac Excel team, to provide error logs and detailed descriptions to improve the product. It has such potential, and that is the frustrating part.

Is there any way I can do this?

I have been given the broadband connection almost 4 months back with the teriff of Rs. 750 per month. Since then the connection has not been functining properly. I have talked wit the local BSNL office at Siddhiashram, agartala who provided me with a complaint registering telephone no. [protected]. At first they said that this is due to the disturbances in the land line connection and accordingly they rectified the land line connection. But nothing changed in the disturbances of the broadband connecton . After that I made contact with the authority bearing telephone no. 1500 a few times.But unfortunately the two (2) complaint nos. provided by that authority have been misplaced by me. Till date I have been facing problems in my broadband connection.The problems are as such :(1) Alwayas a "Dial-up Connection" in a dialog box is displayed (2) A message containing "Configuration setting has not been properly done" is displayed (3)" Error in connecting broadband connecton" is found in the screen (4) Contact your service provider to rectify the problem - is displaced. Now I hope I will get prompt and better response from your end.
